Thanks for the response guys. I guess I will stay in Tijuana because I do not like the heat. Was just curious. The guy doing these videos is now mixing in Tijuana footage with Mexicali. Its a nice update to see the chicas until I can get back down to Tijuana.

It is not a walking town either. The bars are located in about a 3 block radius. Nothing to do during the day unlike Tijuana.

Short answer is no. The drive is not worth it, as Tijuana is better in almost every regard. Also, do not go to Mexicali during summer under any circumstances. Hot as an oven is understating the heat. I've been to Karma spa multiple times. It's a good place with good girls and service. I like it because it's near the border so you don't have to go to far and spend a lot of time traveling. They always lock the door. You just have to wait a few seconds so they can unlock it remotely. They have several rooms with a massage table, showers and couches. It's $25 for a massage and I think $80 or $90 for full service for one hour. They ask you what you want when you are in the room with the girl you picked. Different girls work different hours and days. They have their schedule I think. It's a good place, I like it.

It was $80 (American Dollars) for an hour. The room was a bit dark so it was hard to see but nonetheless it was a good room. It had a massage table, a shower, a chair and a bed like area. I was very good.

I went in and I again said "Habla Usted Ingles?" and the girl behind the counter immediately asked me if it was my first time and I said yes. She then told me it was 80 American Dollars and it included everything (no negotiating). I liked this system better. She then asked me if I wanted to see all the girls and I said yes and she brought them out. There were 4 of them and I picked a very sexy lady named Yban. I went to Mexicali for the first time in 6 years on Memorial Day. I must say there have been some changes. When I got to Mexico and I walked through the large hall that had all of the Mexican customs agent (I had never seen this before) I was carrying nothing but for some reason a uniformed officer pulled me aside and wanted to ask me some questions. He started saying something in Spanish and I said "No hablo Espanol" and then in a very broken English that I could barely understand he asked me if I was carrying any money. I said yes. He then asked me how much money I had on me. I was a bit hesitant at this point because I thought that I might be part of a shakedown but I told the guy 200 American dollars. He did not understand so I tried to say it again and he still did not understand. I then in my very poor Spanish which I speak very little of said "dos cientos dollares Americain". He then nodded his head like it was ok and then he asked me if I had any checks (not sure why he cared about that) and I said no. He then ushered me through. Everyone else seemed to be walking through with no issue so I am not sure what he found in me that looked suspicious but I was not shaken down so I was ok.

Based on what I have read on this forum and based on what I said in my previous posts that I wanted (no talking to the girl, I do not want to buy her drinks, I just want to pick her from a lineup, do her, and then leave) I decided to try the massage parlor scene. These massage parlors were not there six years ago so this was new. Has the current political climate on both sides of the border made things dangerous for Americans south of the border?
