I've used AA Parking twice now. They are convenient and inexpensive@$3. 00 / day. I have not had any issues and I drive a soft top Jeep. Common sense must prevail. Hide your crap. Lock valuables in the trunk and lock your glove box.

I used them twice too. The second time is when I had my license plates stolen. It wasn't a common sense issue. A lot of people use that lot to hold vehicles they buy at auctions in the US. Then they drive them into Mexicali. It's easier to steal plates that it is to risk getting stopped because they have no plate on the car. That's what I'm guessing happened. Regardless, I still ended up having to file a report, then having to spend a morning at the DMV paying for a new plate, instead of being at work. Walmart is free, has security and in the 100 or so times I've parked there, I have never had a problem. Taxis run between Walmart and the border all the time and it costs around $3 or $5. Just trying to warn people, use them if you want to risk it. Like I said, the owners didn't care and didn't act surprised.
