Another monger from the Los Algodones forum (Granjefe) and I are going to go to Los Algodones on Friday and spend the night there and then go to Mexicali and spend Saturday night there. Anyone else that lives in the Phoenix area or somewhere in between that wants to go let me know and we can split some gas money. Happy mongering!

I am thinking about trying to find a chica for an all nighter and I was wondering if anyone knew of a hotel that has like a little safe or some other arrangement to put money or other valuables is for when you bring the girl to the room for the night. What do other people do to keep their stuff safe?

Hotel Del Norte right off the bridge (best hotel in town) has safes in the management office. You should look into some security products. Try corporate travel safety dot com.

Is that a typo? The hotest temperature ever recorded on the planet Earth occurred September 13, 1922 in Libya and it was 57. 8 degrees Celsius (136 degrees Fahrenheidt). I would have thought if they had broken the world record it would have made a lot more news. Is that a typo? The hottest I have seen Phoenix is 118 degrees Fahrenheidt so that would be hot to me too. You are right though in that I can probably handle it better. If you will be there let me know. Anyone else can let me know too.

Does anyone know from past experience if Mexicali is good to go to on labor day weekend? Is it overcrowded with other mongers so the prices go really high? I am thinking about going this weekend to either Mexicali or to Los Algodones. If anyone was to tag along contact me. I live in the Phoenix, Az area so if you live there or somewhere in between there and Mexicali let me know and I can pick you up and we can split the cost of gasoline.

Having lived in Mexicali for several years until a couple of years ago, I believe that I can answer your questions. On Labor Day weekend, a lot of gringos pass through Mexicali on there way to San Felipe. A few stop to monger a bit on their way down or on their way home, but not enough to effect the overall monger / chica ratio. The problem is the the heat. You are probably used to it because you live in Arizona but this last Saturday it was 59 degrees celcius (138. 2 farenheit) in Mexicali. Also if you want to come back to USA on Monday be prepared for a 3 or 4 hour wait to cross the border because of the gringos going home from San Felipe. It is better to go home on Sunday or wait until Tuesday.

I am thinking about going to Mexicali this weekend but am not sure yet. I will let you know.

I can't speak for Mexicali but I intimately know Algodones. This summer has been really bad on the ladies income so prices will remain low until our season starts the first part of October. I just spent last weekend there and negotiated an all nighter at my hotel for $60.

I am open to ideas and live in Yuma just off the I-8 so I am up to meeting with you for a road trip, just let me know!

I tried to look back a few pages and check the maps but I can't make heads or tails out of the info. If I cross in downtown Calexico is there a zona like Tijuana that I can walk to. Or if I take a cab is everything spread out or together. Is it worth it if I have no clue where to go or should I just wait for my next Tijuana trip.

You should check it out for sure. You can walk to the area from the bridge in less than 20 minutes. Be prepared to pay HK prices or choose from only a handful of below average women standing in front of a few hotels. Clubs girls can be very doable but again at HK prices.
