    Mexicali is a graveyard

You just need to know the right places to go. It's not that easy in Mexicali without a car, or at least an idea of where to take a cab to. There are awesome places to get tacos, or just about any other type of food in Mexicali. There are HOT girls also. If you're used to Tijuana, I can see how Mexicali might be a let down. It's really a totally different vibe. It's not touristy and they don't really cater to americans for the most part.

    Mexicali Is A Graveyard

i wish somebody had saved my ass from coming here. it took me a little less than 2 hours to figure out that i was not in the right place. there is absolutely no party vibe here at all yet alone atmosphere. there is a tiny centro when you cross the bridge and that is it. there are no interesting shops to look at. there are no dollar beers or taco stands like tijuana just gross looking diners. the people are not as friendly as tijuana. the scene is very much like a graveyard. there are almost no internet cafes and the food in general is not exciting.

i found the clubs and zona within an hour. the clubs are what you expect but the hotel girls are a total bomb. lots of ugly trannies as well. the sg women are gross even by artisttyp standards.

oh well i had to see it for myself. i was curious. i am sure it picks up a little on the weekends but it is total suburbia here. not for me. i will head back to tijuana hopefully saturday.

i looked at a room at la chinesca. it reminded me of a time out room i once encountered in reform school. small clean and no air to breath. luckily i found another deal with much better services.

i do sincerely appreciate the help though.

    conclusion :

if you live in calexico why not but for no reason should anyone feel the need to come here.

    gods speed.

By the way I indirectly recieved mexicali info from you via tom jackin. Your information was excellent.

I've gotten to hang out with mad man tom a few times. Good times.

    Hotel Del Norte

The last time he stayed there was in April 2005. Tom Jackin stayed there months ago so I would consider him to be a much more reliable source. Having said that if I was going to Mexicali without a car I would also choose La Chinesca because it's closer to the sg action.

Thanks. I've done that already but I don't have a good grasp of the areas and what is around them.

From the research I've done it seems like La Chinesca is the place for me. It has been reported that it is in walking distance to the border and the zona. Girl friendly is a huge plus and the price is right.

Would anyone know if La Chinesca accepts credit cards?

    Thanks again for your responses.

    Hotels Listed

None of these hotels are close to the zona or close to the border. Hotel Samil is close to El Establo (one of my favorite brothels)

He provides a very detailed description and photos of the centro in mexicali. It is well worth a look.

He mentions that hotel del norte is a dump. On that note I have also located info on the following.

    Hotel samil on lazero cardenas.

Hotel villa del sol on lopez mateos and fuerza aerea.

    Haciendo del Rio.

    Hotel regis.

    Hotel posada inn.

I assume most are in the centro / question mark. Does anybody see a name on the list that rings a bell or has stayed there before / question mark.

Remember I do not have a car.

    Many Thanks.

Going with la chinesca. 2 nd chances map is excellent. It even shows you photos of the stores nearby. Incredible. Thank you for doing this.

    A Little Assistance

    Hello,

I am currently in tijuana making my way east to mexicali next week. Can somebody please assist me with a hotel / question mark.

I know about hotel del norte then also villa manport and manport. My question is which manport is the one in the centro and is there a website for it / question mark.

I will not have a car so would like to be in a central area where I can walk to the street girls and the curio shops. Also access to ice and or xoxo s or 7 11 s would be great. I use public transport no problem.

My budget is between $30 and $45 a night preferably using a credit card.

Tom Jackin has provided me with an extensive list of pfp action. Thank you. I will probably stick to the street girls though.

If anyone will be around feel free to pm me.

And I said,"Hell yeah, let's go! And if you are good, I'll even throw in another 50 pesos!" As soon as she heard the word "pesos", I got that "are you out of your fucking mind" look. For some reason she failed to see the humor.

No worries about the timelines of Guau Guau and El Establo. I figured that I had researched the place enough, my fault for not digging deeper for times and such.
Your sense of humor compares with mine like when met Lucy in Tropical offered her 200p but she too had sense of humor and countered with 350p unlike this chica you met! Your a great guy been awhile since on this section for some reason cannot find your email so write me amigo!
