I'll be heading to Mexicali in a week or so. Does anyone have a map of the "hot" spots? Is there a zone like in Tijuana?

I don't get it. Is there a zona de tolerancia or not? Mexico is ridiculous in this regard. It's hard to tell what's what. Nothing is clear in regards to can or can't do.

The hotel girls are tolerated, as are girls working the clubs. The freelance walkers are not. (I suspect because nobody's getting a piece of their action). They are now policia targets as are (gringo) mongers who patronize them. I would hope this is a passing phase as there are a few cute semi pros who work the calles.

Your report doesn't sound promising at all. I had the most fun while I was walking in the Zona. I was considering another trip in May; but not so sure now. Hopefully Hacking Helen is okay!

I've been mongering in Mexicali for a couple of years now. I've savored Mexicali's roses in clubs, hotels and calles. Last night I got a surprise I wasn't ready for. I was walking down Lerdo de Tejada in the zona about 11 PM, negotiating with a cute single mom to come back to my hotel room when she suddenly stopped talking and seemed to freeze.

A policia truck had just pulled up and one of the cops inside called her over. I remembered hearing how they'd hassling street girls and I started to proceed on my way. The cop got out of the truck and yelled at me to come over.

Oh sh*t. I'd been through this in Tijuana but didn't think it possible in Mexicali. The cop asks me if I speak spanish and I tell him a little. He proceeds to tell me I've committed a felony by soliciting the girl and that he's arresting us both and taking us down to la commendancia.

I tell him I was only talking to her and he yells that I am a liar. He asks me what I do for work in the US, I tell him my profession and he yells aren't I ashamed of myself. I know the game from Tijuana. I'm supposed to act respectful but firm and tell him to take me and wait overnight in jail to be released by a judge for a nominal fine. Either that, or I'm driven out in the middle of nowhere and let go.

He pats me down (doesn't go through my pockets) asks if I have any weapons or drugs to which I reply in the negative. He wants ID and I show him my passport. Finally I ask what kind of fine we can settle this with and he acts dramatically offended at first, lecturing me on the seriousness of my "crimen."

Finally he wants to know how much money I have on me, asking in english "How much? How much?" I tell him 600 pesos and he acts insulted. He tells me again in english this will cost 250 dollars. I act terrified and convince him I don't have anything remotely like that amount, that I am an americano but pobre.

I show him I have 750 pesos and that is it. He acts affronted but asks cop #2 if this is enough. Cop #2 is irritated with cop #1 and wants to get out of there. He growls at me to lower the bills and discretely hand them over to him. He then bellows at me to be on my way.

I know I could have called his bluff and refused but I didn't want to risk missing my bus back today. Girls I talked to later tell me this has been commonplace for some time and that once at the commandancia they extort any where from 300-600 pesos in fines, but is relatively new with gringos. Comments I heard ranged from "pinche raterros" to "muy corrupto." Shades of Tijuana?

I don't know if this will be a future trend or a passing phase. This morning in the zona, the cops were out in force seemingly pulling everyone over for anything. The encounter cost me about 62 bucks and could have been much worse. If you're new to Mexicali, you're of course safe in the clubs, fine with the hotel girls but be careful on the streets.

I'm in and around Mexicali until Saturday March 19 AM. Found my previous ATF (maybe OTF is more accurate) Priscilla in the Hotel de 16 de Septiembre. She's 19 now, but looks early 20s. Still a good 7, but used to be a 9. The Zona ages 'em. I'm not complaining, mind you. I'm persuading Estefania (she of the short stature and four kids) to let me know if she sees any good-looking "novatas" newbies in the Zona.

Here's a re-cap of my Friday night.

I crossed the border into Mexicali around 8:30 and headed off to a favorite bar of mine called Monaco Beer Club located at Ave. Lerdo #699 which is a couple minutes walk away from the strip club intersection (Miau Miau, Kaoz, La Mosca 2, and Porky's). They have a very wide variety of imported beers and pretty English friendly. Anyways, drank a beer with friends and decided to leave to La Mosca 2.

Once we arrived, most of the girls were already sitting down and drinking with customers. The women here vary and could be possible to say that there has to be at least one girl you'll have interest in but from what I can tell, they have some of the younger looking women compared to other strip joints. Since I was with company, we bought a bucket (cubeta) of 8 beers of your choice which comes with a table dance with your pick of girl. Was 240p which was strange since it has always been 200p but I guess the bartender wanted extra since me and my friends were scrambling through our pockets and trying to pay evenly for it.

After we had seen about 4 girls dance on stage, we picked a girl for the table dance and my attention was immediately stolen by the cutie who had just walked on stage to dance. I was shaking my head back and forth trying to look at both ladies haha. After the table dance, I went up to the guy who usually stands by the steps and grabs the strippers clothing / money for her and asked him to arrange a privado with her when she was done. She finished up her sexy dance and off she went to the backrooms for a change.

Once she walked out, I walked up to her and greeted her and she said she recognized me from a past day I had been there. So everything was off to a good start and when she was about to walk me out for a privado I asked her if she wanted to have sex and her face lit up with surprise and she covered her mouth in a shy manner and told me she couldn't since it was that time of the month. I told her it was ok and just got a privado with her because she was too hot to pass by. Standard price. 200p. Took off her top and let me rub her under her panties which a few girls won't let you do unless you cough up for another privado dance. It was a real damn shame I couldn't have sex with her but I plan on going next week again for her.

After the great privado, I was off to Miau Miau. Walked in and saw many women busy sitting with men either at the booths or tables. More women at Miau Miau and the age range of the women is slightly more mature than La Mosca but a lot of hot women nonetheless. Sat in a empty booth and scoped out the place for any good looking girls. Bartender came up and asked what I wanted to drink and I told him a soda was fine. This place is pretty ridiculous when it comes towards the prices of the drinks and even more ridiculous when you buy the girls drinks.

One hot lady was walking around and looking for any takers for a privado and eventually ended up at my booth and we greeted and chatted for a bit. Asked me if I wanted to get a privado or a blowjob and asked her how much for sex and told me 1200p. So off I went with her and everything was really great but my only gripe was that she didn't like getting fingered and no matter how much I tried to get her to let me she just didn't go for it. Time was pretty good, she didn't rush for me to finish, neither did employees come up and interrupt.

All in all it was a good night but I still would have preferred to have done the other cutie at La Mosca. I should have just walked away from the offer at Miau Miau but no regrets I guess. Round 2 this Friday!

Thanks for the TR. Did you get a sense of p4p prices at La Casona? Sorry you had to make two trips to Guau Guau. It didn't occur to me you might go that early or I would have mentioned going later. Same applies to El Establo.

When I first went in La Casona I was approached by real cutie and she sat next to me at the stage. I mentioned the words "dinero & hotel " and she took my pen and notepad and wrote 150. And I said,"Hell yeah, let's go! And if you are good, I'll even throw in another 50 pesos!" As soon as she heard the word "pesos", I got that "are you out of your fucking mind" look. For some reason she failed to see the humor.

No worries about the timelines of Guau Guau and El Establo. I figured that I had researched the place enough, my fault for not digging deeper for times and such.

. Decided to check out La Casnoa one more time because it was next to the hotel anyway (great excuse). Good decision, the place had 25-30 girls and was quite busy. I plopped down at the stage and enjoyed life. A good portion of the girls were hotties, the rest were cuties, and I did not see any trolls. The place is pretty big and the stage is high, which explains why my neck hurts.

I'm sure that I did not see the whole scope of street girls in one day. My understanding was that many working girls go to La Taberna on their time off; Mexicali folks correct me if I'm wrong. Art, you know Spanish, thus, you have game.

The street game is alive. When I passed through Hotel 16 de Septiembre, the six or more girls had fun with me and vice versa. I would stop and ask each one "cuánto." My best Spanish by the way. And they would try to outbid each other, I was having fun, but they were serious; they needed some pesos.

Initially, I was not enthusiastic about crossing the border to a new area alone. But after being there for a few hours, I felt comfortable enough to explore.

I really appreciate this report! It sounds like you were very occupied and had a few options to choose from. You didn't seem too enthusiastic about your trip by reading the pm's but after reading this I'd like to see it for myself.

I am curious to know about the number of street girls available and if you spotted any free lancer bars?

Too bad you left so soon. I like to walk around and explore so that would probably keep me busy for a few days.
