How good is your Spanish? The times I have talked to chicas they claim they can spot a gringo right away by the way they respond. Meaning are you saying buenos theías, tardes, noche? Yep, you will be bored off your ass if you are in MTY for the holidays, either the girls leave for the beach or they are on total lockdown for the holidays.

There must be a map somewhere in the BOG thread for more details. Has been 4 years for me and things change. Plus I thought that MP went downhill (dirty rooms and some with doors that would not lock). There were a pair of them on each side of the street my previous visit 2018 and the nice one was shut in 2019.

San Pedro is super safe, but getting very expensive. They have implemented rolling DWUI check points and they are very corrupt, so sick with Uber. You, are correct there is not that many Sex Tourists running the streets of MTY, but MTY does take time, money and some game.

Honestly, it is not much cheaper then CDMX now, so I would go to CDMX. Skip Colombia.

And he kept giving me mean mean look as I made my way into my Aparthotel. Male Colombianos hated us back then even more so now.

Monterrey not as cheap as MED or easier to get to from eastern USA With many direct flights to CO so is kinda chill in a way but by no means completely safe.

However I visited BOG Feb. 2020 staying in Parque 93 and felt pretty safe. I thought about having 'take-in' but always went out into the day to the cheap MPs in 70 street area. Some good experiences some not so good. I did not do Sante Fe SWs.
