The girl that spent the night Friday, left around 9:30 am. , we had some breakfast sex. I change apartments every 2-3 days, so I do not get in trouble for bring different girls. I got to the point of seeing when Bourdain would say something is good, which he usually did, and when he raved about something.

Thing about Franklin's is the multi hour wait is a social event. You down beers, talk to others, and you usually are talking about whether you are being an idiot waiting for a few hours in line to get BBQ.

Then you get the BBQ, especially the Brisket, and you look over at your new friends eating at the other table who have been diving into the BBQ and smile as if saying, "Fuck yeah, the wait was worth it. ".

I have been to Salt Lick multiple times (it seems to be going downhill), am amazed at how they can make a beef rib tender at Louie Mueller's in Taylor (their peach cobbler was so fucking good it reminded me there are still new things in life to enjoy), but the brisket at Franklin's is an entirely different world. It is better than the leanest filet, and it is good to go. I took some home with me, and 2 days later, it was 95% as good as when I ate it fresh.

Franklin's BBQ was one of those few places that actually lived up to the hype.

Thanks for the recommendations. Honestly I do not go out that much in Austin now, but I will definitely try those 2 places. I save my money for MTY, I have a major hook up at one of the top Rest. Here, so much fun. Sonora Prime, real cool place and now they know me that much better.

I telling you guys when you get to the $150, the heavens open up. When you think about that, it is little money. Most of these girls hang out for several hours and many spend the night. Good for you DF. Back in the MTY, arrived late last night, no issue at the border or checkpoint, they did check my papers. One of my girls came over at 10 pm last night, drove over and spend the night. You know what? You have convinced me to spend what I spend in CDMX and deal with then upper tier. I also work remote. I worked remote before COVID I just meet with hospitals directors in person every so often. Other than that paper work happens at home. If anyone wanted to schedule a meeting it would be easy to come back. I would just schedule it a couple days out. I can even catch the bus if it came down to it. So many more options.

The prices are up there with any where else in Mexico if you want the top tier but you said it's a gold mine to you since we can drive there. Maybe I've been looking at Monterrey wrong. I've been looking at it as a 2nd tier city to Mexico City but you make some interesting points as far as being able to change your dates as you please and not being dependent on the airlines. When COVID hit the airlines had me scrambling for other options as the routes I liked where no longer available at the prices I was used to.

Thank you for the clarification. You are correct there more variety in Mexico City, but for me MTY is a gold mind. I love the tall Skinny girls and I have definitely found my share. Also, I love I can drive there, just makes for a better time. Easy to extend my trip or go back a day early if I am driving, depending on my work situation. No more airlines, also is a great perk.
