In Guyana and Suriname, I'm not sure. Through my research, I discovered it was possible to fly to Suriname or Guyana on a major airline, and then take a smaller regional jet between those two countries. The difficulty was getting to French-speaking French Guiana, as you couldn't fly to that country from Suriname or Guyana. What I plan on doing in the future is fly to Martinique, visit that island, and then take Air France from the island to French Guiana. Apparently, it takes a whopping two hours to see everything in Cayenne and pussy is hard to find.

A 'regional jet' from Georgetown to Paramaibo? What kind of research is this? On this route, a buddy and I flew with one other passenger and the two pilots in a propeller plane that barely had room for the five of us and the bags. Immigration was an ad hoc wooden lecture. From Paramaibo to the E. You. Border (which is what it nominally is) we rode crowded in an old station wagon with some locals. At the river crossing, speedboat taxis take you across. You have the option of taking one to immigration, or taking one crossing further downstream that circumvents border control. In Cayenne, the Devil's Island museum (ruins) are worthwhile and proper French restaurants alone are enough to keep you overnight. Note in Paramaibo, many of the girls working are Brazilians from the jungle, but that's another subject.

For shits and giggles, I checked how much it would cost to go to Paraguay. Best way is to fly nonstop to Buenos Aires from DFW or Atlanta for $700. Then it is $400 from BA to Asuncion, and total flight time is 24 hours. LOL. Why does that $10 pussy cost so much? It does not look like Paraguay is ever going to be a hot hobby spot. It is just too damned easy to head to Mexico or Colombia and MTY is the easiest of all.

Before Covid ruined it, hopefully not forever to where its not coming back, when not a monger spot Monterrey provides double duty as a de facto Gateway to Central / South America. The good days airfare from MTY to Buenos Aires or Sao Paulo or Medellin was so crazy low I thought it was a typo. Flights to Buenos Aires from either Dallas, Houston, or Austin were in the $1400 range and those same dates from Monterrey was $620 total.

If you're really really itching for Paraguay, you can maybe save a little and take a REALLY long bus ride from BsAs, or fly BsAs to Iguazu Falls and cross into Paraguayan side and again bus it.

Or, novel idea, many of the providers in BsAs Centro are natives of Paraguay working under the radar. Last I checked rates are around $35-40/ HR 2 pops. For current examples search BairesGirls dot net. Many do anal and CIM, one let me bareback her on a whim.

COVID breaks out, everything shuts down, and my trip to Uruguay and Paraguay is postponed again. I've actually purchased two separate airline tickets on Paranair Airlines and have never flown with them. How? For both tickets, I purchased the cheaper, nonrefundable fares. So Paranair Airlines has actually gotten over $500 of my money, and I've never stepped foot on one of their airplanes. True story.

Paraguay and Uruguay appear to have a lot of untapped potential, and I was set to explore both countries in early 2020 before COVID ruined those plans. American Airlines just announced new service to Suriname, and with oil discovered offshore Guyana, I'm betting there'll be a surge of infrastructure improvements, with tourists and mongers to follow. The world is our oyster. As long as we all stay healthy and employed, we can enjoy it at will and to our heart's content.

They also have so much electricity from the river, they sell like 90% of it to Brazil, so power is cheap. In addition, there is an aqueduct that has twice as much water as the great lakes. And with the climate, you can damn near grow anything there. Tariffs are only 10% on foreign goods so Argentines and Brazilians flock to buy stuff in Paraguay. As you can tell, I am incredibly intrigued by Paraguay, but it is a complete pain in the ass to get there.

I appreciate that remark. Since I glean so much information from ISG, I try to provide information that mongers can use for their adventures. And I'd love to see the ISG moderators install an emoji feature on the site, where mongers can "Like" and "Unlike" trip reports and comments in general. The bare-bones DR1 website has that feature for comments written by registered members, so it can't be that difficult to set up on ISG.

I can see why you liked Krystal based on its location. When in Monterrey, I stayed at the Sheraton Ambassador about a 2 minute walk from there and had none of the issues you reported. I even tipped the doorman 100 pesos who kept a woman of mine warm while waiting for me in the lobby, the treatment the working women got in Mexico preCovid. Maybe I got away with more because I am a platinum Marriott member but I think not.

It's hard to beat the location of Hotel Krystal Monterrey. You're on the quiet Plaza Hidalgo with pharmacies, money exchange, shopping, and restaurants very easy walks from the hotel. You're also on the edge of the Barrio Antiguo. Because of COVID, all of the little bars of the Barrio Antiguo were closed, but when they were open, I imagine it was probably a raucous party zone with freelancers hanging out and looking for work.

One of the things that DF talked to me about was not letting Monterrey be over run as a foreign sex tourist destination. I did notice my tales of using SA in Bogota, even though they were discounted at the time, seemed to stir up a lot of activity there. I read though that pharmacies were doing Covid screening. I asked around and the Farmacia Benavides at the corner of Padre Mier and Pino Suarez does Covid testing. They have a doctor on staff to write prescriptions and also to do the Covid test. I showed up too late and was told to come back at 10 AM. I got there at 10:30 AM, paid 350 pesos or about $18 and was in and out of that office with a negative test in 15 minutes.
