MTY is great, but it is more of the long game, you really need to go multiple times to truly enjoy the city. If you are just going for the weekend go to Tijuana. MTY is great, but many of the high end girls are not available to foreign guys. They prefer the locals, also many have serious family issues. (Controlling, jealous and angry parents). Are there any hotels right near some of the bigger strip clubs? How is uber / lyft / taxis in the area?

I was going to make a business trip to Monterrey in one day but some helpful tips from the Master Juan Carter tempted me to extend it two nights so I'the have a whole day to check out the scene. But doing that on a weekend and without doing any homework wasn't good planning.
