Check rates, I was once quoted $15/day to park in downtown Laredo.

Yes, the Omni bus, is by far the best option. Make sure you have your visa, they are checking out the checkpoint.

I'm thinking I may do a different option of going to Laredo. In the past I have walked across and caught a Taxi to the Bus station on the MX side. I read on line that they greyhound in Laredo has a parking lot above it. Seems convenient. Does any know if Greyhound stops so passengers can get the FMM before going to Monterrey?

Yep, Ommni Bus is the best. Make sure you have your Visa.

Have you went by car recently? I'm thinking about going via Colombia bridge this weekend. I have used the bus in the past but much more prefer having my car in Monterrey.

You only need to go the Colombia Crossing. 4-6 pm and Friday's 2-9 pm. Going back it is a different story if the wait is longer then 45 minutes, we then I go to see. Be. Good luck.

It looks like its all happening in cars. Which probably took the free road to Monterrey.

I believe all commercial buses take the paid turnpike. I have been going pretty.

Regularly on bus and haven't seen any problems. If anyone knows any different.

I have been thinking about this a lot, for a couple of reasons. I do feel safe on the toll road, there is another road you can take, an no way in Hell would I go that way. I took that by bus one time, and it would be very easy to be car jacked or worse.

I've just visited the Regio Escort website and their prices are around $6,000 pesos for 90 mins, that's $300 US, is that right? I mean, that's almost Canada prices.

The website is wrong most of the time. I text them and they give me the girls available for under 4000 pesos, $200. You are correct $300 is too much. You can get real hot girls from $150-200.

Then he messaged about 1:45 am he walked down the street to Cielo where paying in USD, almost zilch conversational Spanish and looking Asian, a 20 minute privado with a Cielo dancer fleeced him for $125. Did mention there were a few hotties at Cielo but most were older fatter high mileage.

You have to take the good an the bad, with the game we play. MTY has exceeded all my expectations, but Sundays are killing me. That is the day I try to meet new girls, the cancelation rate is very high on Sundays. I guess it is because they love to sleep and that day is reserved for family time. I am not minimizing the danger. I have been in the paid toll road at least 100 times, I have never seen anything remotely like this in fact many times I see other motorists polling over and helping cars that are broken down. There are truckers all over the place. I do not feel safe driving thru Laredo, but one I reach the toll road I do relax. There are check points and cops everywhere.

I have tried to get many girls to meet me in Laredo most refuse, they are real afraid of Laredo, know one has brought up the toll road. One girls drives to meet me every so often, she does complain about the drive, but does complain about Laredo.

I do believe that most of the violence in Mexico is tied to drugs. 99.9% of the time they leave the tourists alone. You should always, put safety first. Regardless Mexico needs to stop the violence. Once I am in San Pedro I feel really safe, I do not feel that safe in most major cities in America.
