There is a bus service that runs between MTY aeropuerto and the Central Bus Station. It is 100 p per person each way, can buy tickets either as add-on with your Viva Aerobus online purchase or at bus / airport main hallway look for Noreste sales counter. 45 minutes each way only because that airport is way out in the sticks.

Once at the Central bus station you can order an Uber / Didi without the hassles.

Stayed in Centro in Krystal. There were few of us and one stayed in Sheraton ambassador (walking distance) and we used our rooms to host girls. Both hotels did not stop any girl visited 'at any time of day or evening'.

I didn't like either to be honest- had to struggle getting basic items like ice or mini fridge (they didn't give us one so had to keep getting ice buckets).

Area:

Covid test:

This thing wasted half of our Saturday. I saw 8 to 10 people in airport when landed waiting to be tested so we decided to try our luck in town.

The hotel front receptionist recommended us to use Salud Digna for testing as it's cheaper and easily accessible. We walked to it in centro but struggled with main door guy trying to establish what we want to do. After translator and failed attempts, we were told that come back after 2 p for without appointment.

Once back, it was fairly quick. Paid 260 p for antigen and test was available online in 2 hours. Printed those pdf from hotel front desk.

I will be there early next month again!
