Welcome to Monterrey!

Monterrey is one of the most modern cities in Mexico! It mostly caters to business people. It is a beautiful city and has a great selection of restaurants and clubs.

Why Monterrey?

My last time I was in Monterrey was in October 2019. After that trip, Monterrey became one of my favorite cities in Mexico. The city, food, and the chicas were off the hook! This trip, when it came to clubs and restaurants, I did not see any collateral damage from pinche covid.

Note: I flew to Monterrey out of Tijuana and back only using my passport card. A passport book was not required.

All the money I quote is in pesos, unless you see the dollar sign.

I used CBX from Otay to the Tijuana airport and back. CBX round trip was around 38 bucks. CBX prices are seasonal. They have a low season, regular season, and high season. I crossed during the low season.

After clearing immigration at the Tijuana airport, I relaxed in the lounge for some chow and adult beverages. Returning, there was an Oma Premier Lounge in Terminal 1 and it sucked big hairy balls! Ask me how I really feel!

Getting there:

I flew Viva Aerobus for the first time round-trip to Monterrey. I knew there would be a delay because of the light fog. Even though the fog lifted, there was still a 4-hour delay; pinche fog pussies! The plane landed at one terminal, but we had to walk 20+ minutes to a different terminal to exit the airport! I still do not understand the reasoning behind that.

Airport transportation:

When I arrived in Monterrey, I called for an Uber and the cost was 560 and the ride was around 35 to 40 minutes to my hotel. Edgar, my Uber driver, took me back to the airport and I paid him 500.

Getting around town:

I used Ubers throughout my stay. Before I started my club romp, I met an Uber driver named Edgar. We ran the streets for 3-nights and went to all the clubs that time permitted. Even though Edgar does not speak English, he is highly recommended.

Hotel:

I stayed at the Grand Fiesta Americana which was in a great location. The hotel was quite nice and the staff was excellent. Was it chica friendly? Yes, I brought in an escort during my stay. But I really did not trust the hotel, so I met the chica outside and escorted her up to my room with no issues.

Communication:

I have the T-Mobile Go5 GPlus55 plan; no worries whatsoever.

Tentacion This place was across the street from Diablas. I did spend an hour there and the word "massage" was never spoken. I got there at 1:30 am.

I agree there's some good information here but there's got to be a better way other then reading through years of past posts to find information. Back in the day if you needed a plumber there was a section in the phonebook with a list of all the local plumbers. LOL Where's the phonebook for our people the mongers? LOL.

Nice to see you spread your wings and get to see different part of Mexico besides Tijuana. I'm not going to criticize you on the 7 k you spent buying two girls fichas since it was a long night and they were good at their job. The only thing is that if you weren't attracted to them you should of waited and blown them off. I often will see the uglier girls try to come towards me or sit with me and many times in teams. Depending what club it is and we're in sitting will make a difference. Usually I try to sit at a table and block off the ability for a girl to sit with me uninvited but if I get stuck sitting at the bar I will say Hello, and if they keep bugging me I just ignore them. I know I come off a very rude but I hate it when uninvited girls bug me.

Yeah it sounds like the other place with the 15% tip were just taking advantage of you. I've been to some pretty nice clubs in GDL and have never been told any tip amount was mandatory. Most places in Mexico have the same tricks to make the bill higher and like you said HK isn't so bad when you compare it to other spots.

Since I've never been to MTY yet I'm not sure about the area you were at and how it didn't impress you. I know the hotel where TomJackin was is very good area just not sure how far it is from the clubs. That's one of the things I like about GDL is that the nice clubs are in a good area that I can walk to from my hotel.

The airbnb was down the main strip of MTY. I think the chicas assume I was staying in San Pedro which must be nice, but I only stayed in central part of MTY with casas and clubs. I don't regret the trip and the chicas made it worthwhile. I did catch something, but nothing meds won't take care of and recommend callondoc. You just answer questionnaire and pickup prescription when back in USA The central area was older buildings, most were for rent, sale or abandoned. I wasn't scared walking around at night since no one was out and about. Everyone I met was accommodating and nice, but think it is Mexican culture. The major pain is taking the taxi from airport which takes 40 mins. To 1 hour. Almost similar to GDL and Mexico City with the airport being located outside the city. Tijuana just makes things more convenient and wouldn't be surprised if Zona Norte expands. The volume of customers is unmatched.
