Took a weekender down to Monterrey this past week, and really had a great time. Thanks to everyone for all the outstanding reports in this forum. Many were very helpful to me as I planned my adventure.

I arrived at MTY midday on Thursday and I flew through immigration, customs, and I was walking out to grab a taxi in no time. I passed a couple of the terminals for getting a ticket for a taxi, which I had read about. I opted to stay at Hotel Krystal as I liked the location, advertised breakfast, restaurant, lobby bar, and the views of the city and mountains looked nice as well. When I checked in I asked about upgrading to a suite since I had read about the views after I had already booked, and they got me into the better room.

I decided to visit Samaras Arteaga location first based on the pictures and past reviews. My Uber had a hard time finding the door (it's easy to spot, but he parked at an odd angle) but then we saw two scantily clad beauties pull up and head in, and he suggested I follow them. Inside there was only a couple girls available. I'm sure there were plenty more that were busy. La Anacua, which is near El Rey de Cabrito in the Barrio Antiguo area of the city, has a great breakfast. I had dinner there as well and thought the options were good, and only a short walk from the hotel.

I'm planning to planning to return again soon. I've barely scratched the surface of the numerous daytime and nighttime spas that are available, and it looks like I didn't even get to the clubs that most folks recommend.

Thanks you DF. My only 3 trips have always flown in however am now considering the bus amongst other options against hot hell box weather. Maybe I pay extra and go to San Diego or CR or CO for the cooler climes this time of year. Or another part of MEX up in the mountains.

MTY is too hot now, wait for the weather to cool down. Now I will rent an Condo with a pool and with good Air Conditioning, I probably will only meet new girls at the hotel. There air conditioning sucks. The only issue in renting apartments they can be strict with guests.

The hotel I stay at is very nice and they are super cool with me. The staff just laughs when they see me with different girls and never says a word.

There has been a change to the inspection at the first checkpoint, most of the time they are not checking ID's, Car Registration, Tourism Card, now they are checking at the 2nd toll both, so make sure you paperwork is up to date.

Does it normally get this much heat down there in the summer or in a heat wave like here in TX?

Just curious, it wouldn't limit any mongering but I wouldn't do much else from 12 P-8 P unless indoors. Forecast next week 107 and 108.

First, let me start by saying I respect your knowledge. Having said that, if you're talking escorts, I'm not sure there's better value than Puebla. It's also safe with big city vibe yet without the chaos of CDMX, which I love but do need a break from if there over an extended period. When I was in Puebla about 10 months ago, there was no shortage of escorts that would happily come to your room for 700-1200.

Great advice. If I had more time I would be exploring Puebla. The combination of the 2 cities is even better.

Well, yeah it is the hottest club. Never try to compare Thailand to Tijuana, it's quite different. Monterrey is more expensive, but it is all about exploring different places for me. And there is a lot to explore in Monterrey. I have now visited 27 states in Mexico, and Tijuana still have the best prices!

I wasn't aware of the setup of the clubs and maybe the regular I meet in Tijuana is just trying to dissuade me from traveling. Monterrey does seem more expensive for the hobby compared to Tijuana based on Sol's input. Crazy how the pricing is so different in these cities throughout Mexico. I have to keep reading everyone's reports to see where the best value for dollar is or the best experiences. Hard to imagine Mexican clubs are using a barfine system similar to Thailand.

KB did you read TomJackin report on his visit to MTY? If not it's back in 10/2019 #3559. He always does a great job on the clubs he visits and places to eat in the city. I have bought tickets to go to MTY twice but ended up not going for various reasons. I still need to visit if not for the clubs but some girls I follow on Twitter that I would like to see.

The hard part with the clubs is how they might of changed or even still be open post COVID, the clubs in GDL were really affected so I imagine the same for MTY.

I'm trying to figure out if Monterrey has a gentleman's club that is a restaurant setup for takeout. Do all of the clubs have rooms or any popular ones with takeout only? I may try to visit one of these days, but Tijuana has so many options without having to take a flight and imagine it is pretty hot this time of year in central Mexico.

If MTY is anything like GDL the girls will feel more comfortable doing things in the club. If they feel comfortable with you they might be willing to see you OTC but you might have to visit them in the club a few times to build this trust or pay a large bar fine to have them leave during their shift.
