I think that it is because of the elections in Mexico this weekend. Don't want any drunk voters making bad decisions about the fine candidates! Has anyone heard the rumor that things may change in Nogie after election (i.e. crackdown on the bars near border, no more closet sex, no streetwalkers near la linea etc.) Seems unlikely.

Listen up: Was in Nogi for the first time in several months the other day and noticed at least one change: a more prevalent street-girl scene. Maybe I just wasn't paying close enough attention on earlier excursions, but this time I had several girls proposition me! No, it still doesn't compare to the street-girl scene in Tijuana(for those of you who know...), but, if this trend continues, it will at least add another reasonable alternative to the cramped-closet-sex-scene that Nogi is noted for. Where, you ask, are these girls? Well, just after crossing the border, I suggest you try walking around the area that comprises Rio's and Obsesessions strip clubs--I had one girl approach me saying she had a hotel room; she was a six at best, though. Also, any of the street hustlers will gladly point these girls out to you, or bring them directly to you to check out...

On another note, I made the rounds of all the Nogi/Border strip-clubs. I stopped in Rio's on a slow, late afternoon. Naturally, I was the only gringo in the place. But, to my surprise, in waltzes the infamous 'Monserat', the Mexican Sex-Goddess of Nogales. She is the very definition of 'voluptuous'---blond hair; big lips; lots of curves, and cushions. Not fat, mind you, but definitely 'meaty'--large, round breasts; plush, curvy ass--anyway, you get the picture. Anyway, after finding out that the bar-fine was like $150 to take a girl out, I didn't pursue that option any further. However, after reading some previous posts here, I think I'm going to pursue the hotel option further on future excursions; maybe find a way to negotiate with the girls outside of the clubs. Went last night late eve. Couldnt locate any one of interest on the street though its more like the w/e now that its summer. Had a couple beers at a couple places without partaking. Ed - my experiences in Nogi were far from equal to similar in TJ. Nogi seems to be a bit overpriced for what it is and merely because it's the closest to PHX and TUS makes it exist as a destination at all.

For REAL fantasy fulfillment at a reasonable price, you need to go to THAILAND (alternately Cambodia), sooooo much poon, so little time, such low prices.

But I'll check out Nogales eventually and the similar type short time rooms elsewhere like in the Berlin sex kinos some day.

I went to Nogales Saturday night, the club scene was pretty crowded compared to going down during the week.

I started out at Placers, it was full and there were alott of women;but I didn't see any 8 or 9's. So after drinking the 2 beers they gave me for the price of 1, I started to monger around town. Never heard of massage on the Sonora side of Nogales, ever. The "street pimps" seem to direct Americans to the strip clubs more than anything else. I had a nice recent experience at one of them, and damn I wish to go back again, maybe near the end of June or early July.
