Was recently in Veracruz. Adding to what others have said, there are chicas but they are rare and the selection is limited.

My first day there I went to Hot Mamacitas. The host brought me 2 or 3 ugly fat girls. I sent them all away. One wanted 1800 pesos. Ridiculous. I declined and after watching a few stage dances I decided to try my luck at the Hotel Abasolo. Walked there and saw three girls on the street corner sitting down at the food stall. None of them interested so I went around the corner. Walked past Hotel Palma and saw a thin lady walking down the stairs. She asked for 1200 pesos for 1 shot and 1500 pesos for two shots. She looked good in the dim light so I took her for two shots. Can't recall what the room fee was but it was not included. In better light I noticed she had some dental issues but at that point I was already stuck. Very mechanical and somewhat toothy CBJ. Finished in doggy. The hotel only provided one condom so I had to pay for another condom for the second shot. Same story. Mechanical finish. The girl offered to sell me some crack and even did a hit in front of me. I declined. Overall cleanliness of the room was not good. Felt very sketchy overall.

Next night I went back to Hot Mamacitas. Once again the host brought over a fat ugly girl who I immediately sent away. Smoke show comes on stage and dances. She is a 9. After her dance she immediately comes to my table and asks for a drink. I buy her one and then we discuss rates. 1850 for the room for an hour. I accept and get taken to the back. Tons of charges on my bill and even tax which is normally included in the price is on top. My bill for her, a bucket of beer, my gate fee, her drink, and a bottle of wine and the taxes and I'm in the hole for nearly 3000 pesos. She was the most attractive lady I've seen yet so I paid it. No BJ, but she rode me the best I have been ridden in a long time. Very energetic spinner. Finished in doggy. Her hips felt great to grab onto. Small breasts with very perky nipples. One of the club employees knocks and tells us to finish up. I'm pissed because it's supposed to be an hour and I asked for two shots. Did see a couple of working girls on the malecon during the day but had no time to inquire with them for a price as I was in a rush to an event. The two girls I did see were attractive.

Walked the malecon at night on another day and did not see any obvious working girls. Walked back to the hotels again that same night but there was only one ok girl outside the Palma again and I didn't even want to bother because I did not want to go to that hotel again afraid of running into another crack head.

Would I come to monger in Veracruz? No. For what I ended up paying for that smokeshow at the strip club I could have gotten an equally attractive escort in my home country which would have included a BBBJ. If I had more time to plan for this trip I would have given the dating apps a try.

Flight:

I flew Aeromexico for the first time out of Tijuana. The airfare was around $340 round trip. I used the CBX from Otay to the Tijuana airport and back for the third time; highly recommend CBX.

Taxi to hotel and back to the airport: 250 pesos.

Getting around town: Taxis were cheap and reliable. Make sure the cab has a working AC beforehand! Spanish also helps. I would go from one club to another while my taxi driver either waited for me, or returned at a certain time.

Hotel:

I stayed at the Fiesta Inn Malecon. I grabbed an ocean front king for a decent off season price. I tend to sleep in late, because I'm a night person. The first morning, around 7:50, I heard loud drums and horns, which seemed to be right under my window! I jumped up, looked out the window, and saw the pinche Mexican navy preparing to raise the flag at 8 AM. Fuck, it was loud and the drumming continued for at least 20-25 minutes.

I also noticed the AC was not working as well as it should. The next evening when I returned to my room; the AC just died. The staff upgraded me to a junior suite; which was SWEET! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I'm not sure if the place was "Girl Friendly" or not; never brought one back to the room.

Communication:

I have the North American T-Mobile plan, so calls, texts, and the using internet were included.

Restaurants:

I did a lot of research before I left and here are my thoughts on the restaurants:

Gran Caf Parroquia. Famous for coffee, but the fajitas sucked!
Villa Rica. Excellent.
LOS Canarios. Excellent.
Guero, Guero. Kind of a popular ice cream type place. Too sweet for my taste.
Taco stand next to Lo Lupe. Very good late drunken tacos.
LOS Farolitos. Very good.
El Maestro Asador. Excellent.
La Parrilla (late) - Excellent.
Las Anitas. Very good.
LOS Giros. Excellent.

Strip / table dance clubs:

In each club, I asked several questions and did my best to write the answers on my trusty note pad. As each night went on, the more I drank. Thus, if I am wrong with any of my notes, feel free to correct me.

I always drink screwdrivers when I travel in Mexico, and always with the house vodka; Smirnoff. But this trip, I decided on Absolute.

I enjoyed what this city had to offer. The city was very tranquil and the people were very friendly. I did not see any other gringos in the city; I liked that. I also like the fact that I HAD to speak Spanish to communicate.

The weather was hot and it was humid. Hell, I've never seen so many Mexican men wearing shorts! The beaches did not seem special whatsoever. Maybe that's what keeps tourists away. Either way, I had a good time exploring and documenting stuff for our community; so no regrets!

Would I ever return to Veracruz? Nah!

So I was walking around in the area south of Zamora park where the dive bars are, and I discovered one that had a closed door. I ventured in, and discovered a rather large strip joint. There were a handful of semi-nude girls and one or two customers. Each girl would get up and do a strip once in a while, otherwise they got their pesos from lady drinks, and for those, they provided hands on service. Since the locals were not buying them lady drinks, I got all of their attention and it became a competition as to which lady would provide the best service for a drink. This took a little manipulation on my part, since the ladies don't like being dismissed.

I figured out that the locals sit there with their one beer, watch the strip show, and then go next door to negotiate with a lady in the hotel.

Forget the strip clubs with their 4000 peso prices, Veracruz is filled with bars and SGs at reasonable prices.

South of Zamora park and west of Dias Miron Blvd is an area with street markets, fleabag hotels and dive bars. If the street is sunny, the girls sit in the hotel lobby, otherwise they hang around the entrance of the hotel.

Bars are generally small, with a handful of ladies, more at night.

OK, so now that I've been here a while and had time to sample the local fare, it's time to share some intel.

Turns out that the "Hotel Zone" where the ladies hang out (as mentioned in my previous post) wasn't as great as I had expected.

By and large, the ladies seem to have an assembly line mentality. Get him in, get him out, and on to the next customer. If you're just looking for a quick pop, this is the place.

If you want something more, forget it.

Many of the ladies there are fairly attractive. My first visit was with Jacqueline, and it was actually pretty good. Good enough that I saw her again.

Attractive face, long dark hair, slender, nice figure. She was a bit distant on the first visit, but the second time around, she did warm up a little.

Straight sex, in the nude was 350 pesos plus tip. The girls will generally charge 250 pesos for sex, but it costs an extra 100 pesos to get their top off.

My subsequent visit was with a lady named Adrienne. She was awful. Too many rules and no reciprocation. No kissing the boobs, and she wouldn't get on top.

Laid there like a dead fish. Thank goodness it only cost 350 pesos.

My final visit was with Janet (pronounced Yanet). I thought Adrienne was bad, but Yanet was worse. She didn't remove her phone from her hand the entire time.

She was too busy texting (setting up her next appt, I presume). She didn't even bother to remove her bra completely. No eye contact. Zero personality.

She also up-charged me after we got to the room (from 200 to 400 pesos). Room fee was another 50 pesos, which is paid to the hotel.

When we finished, she put on her clothes and walked out the door without saying anything. One of the worst experiences I've ever had in the hobby.

So, now for the good news. After much research, I found a massage parlor that is located about ten minutes by cab from the malecon.

The name of the street is Calle Sanchez Tagle 879. It's near the corner of Avenida Constituyenes. The name is Extasis Spa. I had two great visits there.

If you plan to visit, just show up (that's what they told me). They are open from 11 am until 9 or 9:30 pm.

Phone numbers. Local Tel: 2XXX955. Cell: 229-XXX-0926. When I tried to call, the call would not go through, so I decided to just show up.

There is no sign outside, just some ladies sitting in what looks like a normal home. They offer a variety of massage options, including nude Swedish massage with happy ending.

I think sex is available as well, but I'm not sure. Half hour and hour options are available.

A one hour Swedish (Sueco in Spanish) massage (nude) with happy ending is 500 pesos, or about US $30 (not including tip).

The rooms are pretty basic. The room that I went in to had two double mattresses on the floor. Basic, but clean.

My first visit, I had a lovely lady named Blanca. Pretty lady, around 30 years old, with a demure persona and a fine body. She gave me a terrific hour-long Swedish massage.

It was more like a nuru massage without the nuru gel. Lots of interaction with her fine body. She said she works out five times a week, and I believe it. She is tight.

Her English is pretty much non-existent, but I speak a little Spanglish, so it worked out fine. Total damage was 500 pesos plus 100 peso tip (about $35).

I told her that for my next visit, I wanted a "2 for 1", which I assumed was a nude massage with sex. So when I returned, I asked for the two for one.

It was taking her a while to return to the room, and I wasn't sure why. But when she did, she was accompanied by Aurora, one of the other fine ladies who works there.

I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Aurora, who looks to be about 25, also has a fine body. Great breasts, just a little soft in the middle, and a beautiful face with a dynamite smile.

The find of the trip so far is in an area that is just a 20-minute walk south of the malecon. There are three hotels in the same vicinity where the working ladies hang out. Two of the hotels are on the same street, and the third is right around the corner. Pick the lady you want, negotiate a price, and she'll take you in to one of the rooms. Accommodations are basic, but clean.

Rates are in the 250 to 350 peso range about $15 to $20 at the current exchange rate. That gets you 15 to 20 minutes of service. From that amount, 50 pesos goes to the hotel clerk for the room. Covered service appears to be the only thing available at this point.

The women that I've seen are not supermodels, by any means. But they are generally attractive and well-proportioned. Be sure to tip generously, because $15-$20 a pop is a helluva deal.

Directions: From the malecon, go to the Parque Zamora and continue south on the Avenida Salvador Diaz Miron. In two blocks, turn right on Calle Jose Mariano Abasolo. Two of the hotels are located on this street. The first is Hotel San Vicente. The ladies are usually standing outside if they're not occupied. Continue west about 150 feet and you'll see the next one Hotel Abasolo. There are about four barstools outside where the ladies hang out. Continue around the right corner (on Gonzalez Pages) and there is a third hotel Hotel Palma. I've seen some women there, too.

There seems to be more ladies that congregate outside of Hotel Abasolo than the others. Hotel San Vicente usually has a couple of them out front. I've only seen one at a time in front of Hotel Palmas.

II had been to veracruz during carnaval and was not successful to find any action. I called a casa and was quoted 250 dollars.

Maybe I won't go to Veracruz again after all. I found some action there but don't want to leave the wrong impression, it pales compared to the df and even Puebla. I had hoped maybe it picks up during carnaval but maybe only the prices increase. $250US is crazy, that much will get you high end escorts like Lulu Petite, Frida Santé and those Agentinians and Colombianas from ZonaDivas.

I am not sure if carnaval had to do with any high prices. I did see trannies on street. I was not happy. VVery little action. I did not explore boca del Rio where action could be.

The bars and streets around the zócalo generally have some late night action, especially on Zaragosa. Many charge a premium for catching tourists but I did find inexpensive talent at Zaragosa between Aristas and Serdan who took me to a short time hotel on the pedestrian walkway Tigeros de la Campana. The locals (and I) shop south of the Parque Zamora and the streets around the mercado during the daytime between Díaz Mirón and and Ursulo Galvan. Take a Google streetview tour of the Hotel CampoAmor doorway (Ursúla Galvan at Guerrero) and the doorway of the Hotel Abasolo (Calle Jose Mariano Absolo at Gonzáles Pages. The H. Abasolo generally has six or seven in that doorway, the Google Maps photo truck must have scared them inside. Almost always there are girls along Gonzáles Pages and sometimes Tenoya. I am told that night times there are streetwalkers around the Parque Zamora but I never have a car there and the action is probably later than I want to be walking around alone and neither do I go at night to the area south of there.

I will maybe be there for carnaval this year, never been for carnaval.
