Was in PV recently and while I didn't have a lot of time to research mongering options I had heard there are some massage paces on the east end of Basillio Badillo in the romantic zone that may have a bit of fun.

I did stop by a couple of them and the one on the north side of the street (sorry I don't recall the name), before she quoted prices she took me upstairs to the "fucking room." You can't compare "resort cities" with large metro areas. The cost-of-living is far higher in Vallarta, Cancun, Acapulco, etcetera than Guadalajara. Plus, the resort cities cater to tourists who have, by definition, more money.

Tourist destinations are always pricier. When you're there, you can ask around where the locals like going to strip clubs. Cab drivers are the best, same for the bartenders at your hotel.

Last time I was in PV, a bartender and a taxi driver both mentioned the name of a strip club where all the girls are working girls. The club was off the main drag, on a cobblestone road, it was a local dive bar strip joint. I wish I remembered the name, it was like 7 years ago. It was great. Bucket of beers was $20 at the time.
