Hi,

Actually going this month (August). I have booked a hotel in the Romantic Zone, not sure the name at this point. At this point I just wanted a clean, cheap room. Someone else recommended this area on the forum, and also by a friend. Mongering is not the primary reason I am going, but, I do plan on having at least a couple of evenings of being in the company of a woman by whatever means that happens. Any updated info will be helpful.

Nice post John and you can add Hotel San Marino as a hotel to stay away from. Also fuk Rogilio as I am the one who brought him to the board, and helped promote his taxi business, only to learn after knowing the motherfuker for 20 years that he decided to be a thief and a fat piece of chit. What kind of guy takes pics of you with other girls and then sends them to girls you are dating in hopes he might get some pussy, or goes stabs you in the back to girls you are close friends with in hopes of getting a little by making himself look good. This just did not happen to me, but The Sex Hunter, and 3 other posters from the board here who are frequent visitors to Puerto Vallarta or actually live in Puerto Vallarta. Andromeda is my favorite strip club in Vallarta. I've been there many times and never had a problem with the waiters trying to cheat me. Everywhere else I've had a problem, even when I tried to pay each time instead of running a tab. The most common trick used at other clubs is switching bills. Last year at Andromeda beer was 65 pesos. A lady drink cost 120 pesos and you got a lap dance at your table. Private lap dances in the back were 250 pesos for 10 minutes. FS in the back room was 850 pesos for 15 minutes, 1550 for half an hour and 2200 for an hour. That is less than other strip clubs but more than places like Las Antorchas, La Botana and Las Alazanas. I haven't been to Mamita's so I can't compare prices. Andromeda is older and probably not as fancy as the new Mamita's. I heard that El_Y_Ella has reopened beside Mamita's. It used to be good.

The Sheraton is in the southern end of the hotel zone, not far from the center of town. I suggest you use Google maps to check it out and also read previous posts on this thread where I have posted maps showing where the clubs and bars are located. I prefer the romantic zone because everything is within walking distance: bars, restaurants, the malecon. The gay area is only a small part of it, so don't worry. Just avoid the Blue Chairs hotel and Abbey hotel. The only problem with the romantic zone is the hotels are smaller and older. If you must have a 4 or 5 star hotel then stay in the hotel zone, or even the marina. However, you probably won't be able to bring a girl back to your room and be prepared to use taxis a lot.

The red zone tour is no longer in business but there is something called boyz night out. It is expensive but could be a good guided tour to the strip clubs for a first time visitor. Just google boyz night out vallarta. I also recommend Rogelio the taxi driver, who has been mentioned in previous posts.

The romantic zone will be your best best because gay men have no problem with bringing home a guest. Otherwise you might have to pay a fee or no guests allowed. If you look online for RED ZONE Tours you can purchase a PDF file of the PV guide. The owner used to post on here. I usually don't recommend tour guides and the sort but this guy did it right IMO. I think I paid $10 for it.

Same place, generally has a very good selection of many girls, prices are very upscale, have rooms on the premises, they also have a Facebook webpage that they keep up very well including posting videos. My suggestion is pay as you go, and on each table is a price list, including prices for ladies drinks. It is my favorite place of this type in Puerto Vallarta.

Stripclub with about 10 to 15 girls normally, and also depends on the time of year, with rooms on the premises and for takeout. It is expensive, and it is located in the downtown area is how I would classify it. 5 minute taxi ride to the main entertainment district which is referred to as the Malecon area. They do have a Facebook webpage. The address is Sierra Aconcague 150 A Col. Olimpica, Puerto Vallarta.
