I won't hold the Winnipeg Jersey against you, but just some friendly advice. You should have a friendly fireside chat with your amigos before going out and while they are all sober. Do no let the strip clubs control your tab or have access to a credit card. That will be a recipe for disaster and potential conflict for your amigos. The three clubs behind Topanko open late and are next to each other. Large parking lot with lots of taxis hanging outside. Before going to the clubs, I would have all of the guys leave their credit cards at the hotel. Cash only for drinks as you order them. No tabs. If possible, have one or two guys control the payment for all drinks. Do not order drinks distributed by the bar to other patrons. Instead, order them to your table, pay for them and then have your friends hand them out to others. Know the prices before ordering anything. A drink for the girl will be much more expensive than the one for you. Otherwise, you are most certainly going to get fleeced, as has been written many times over the years in reviews. Everyone in these clubs wants to get in your pocket, and will pad the bills when opportunity presents itself. Limit the possibility of turning what should be a fun night into a disaster. And remind any of your obnoxious friends to be a bit less so in the presence of locals, plenty of whom will be in the clubs. You do not want to get into arguments that lead to police arriving and you want to make sure you get your buddies back to the hotel in taxis to avoid any possibility of being pulled over by local cops. Hope it works out for you, and hope you report how it goes.

First off I just wanted to to thank all the contributors who have shared their experiences. Your stories have given me a good sense of what I want to plan.

As mentioned I need to plan a stag party for roughly 12 guys as we are all part of a destination wedding. The plan is to spend a day on the water fishing, dinner then hit a strip club until the wee hours. It seems like the only clubs to consider are Tapanko and Andromeda.

It will be 12 gringos with no Spanish language skills most of them pipeline workers who can be noisy and obnoxious but are great guys with money to burn, the likelihood of them buying a round for the entire bar more than once is 100 pct.

I would prefer to keep them in one place for the night so I don't have to worry about anyone waking up in a bathtub full of ice missing a kidney, it would be best if the place had a quiet corner we could be put in because they will be noisy (but harmless.).

Should I find a 'chaperone' to translate and try to keep them out of trouble or is there a bar where we could have our own waiter that speaks English and we will tip him well. Also which bar, I see that there are two other bars across from Tapanko, la10 and Sahara are they any good? And would either of them better to accommodate 12 rowdy Canadian pipeline workers. The date for this will be January 3rd. If you are out that night and see 12 gringos having a great time look for me I will be wearing a Winnipeg Jets Jersey. I took at look at the link and, yes, no wonder you were scammed.

The first thing I noticed was the phone # in one of the photos. It had a 557 area code which is Mexico City. While some Mexico City and Guadalajara hookers do visit PV, many do not use their CDMX or GDL phones since cheap, disposable cell phones are available via Telcel for a few hundred pesos.

The second thing I noticed was that she has an apartment near the Palacio National. Which is in Mexico City.

So, yep, a scam for Puerto Vallarta.

This individual strung me along for about 20 minutes last night and then asked me to pay in advance, I declined, and was asked to pay for the time wasted. This was on WhatsApp. I just blocked them. I doubt it was a woman. A few seconds later they WhatsApp'd me from a different number with a death threat.

We all appreciate taking time to report. But unless you give detailed information, saying you got a HJ at a spa at the Marina and having a few experiences with girls coming to your room, is not much value. There are a dozen massage places at the Marina. Which one did you go to? What was the girl's name? What day of the week and time of day were you there? As for the escorts, who were they? How did you contact her? What did they charge? What services did they provide? What did they look like? Etc. Most of us have limited time to monger on any given day in PV. So sharing these kind of details help give all of us a better chance of using our time efficiently in PV without going on fishing expeditions. It's very easy to get 2 girls at Los Anatorches; I've done it a few times. It is quick and easy, and you don't have to bother with calling, setting up a place to meet, or paying transportation for the girls. Just take a cab to the Soriana store, and walk across the highway from there.

It's never been very busy when I've visited (around noon-1), and usually there are about 4-6 girls hanging out there and quite often two will approach you at once and offer. House take is $500 pesos, and you can negotiate with the girls. Even with 2, I have never spent more than $1,500 there. They are very friendly, and they like to see you have a good time. Only once did I have a girl who was, shall we say, more focused on the business end of things. After negotiations, they will lead you a short walk down the street east of the bar to a house. (The old path thru the trees is gone. I think someone is developing the property).

Not many speak English, but I find that having a good Spanish translation app on my phone is helpful.

I was there for four nights and had one woman the first night and another woman came the next three nights. Went out with them for food and drinks afterwards each night. Both spoke English very well. My Spanish is only about 10 - 15%.

Went to Puerto Vallarta in early August. Went by myself and my first time there. Stayed at the Westin in Marina Vallarta, but wouldn't stay there again. Nice resort, but not much going on in Marina Vallarta. I would stay in the Zona Romantica area next time I go. Marina Vallarta is more convenient for ladies to come up to your room though. Closer and easier for most of them to get to than Zona Romantica. Didn't go to any strip clubs, so can't comment on those. Exchange rates vary a lot. About 15.3 pesos to $1 US at the airport in Houston and 17.2 pesos to $1 US at the cambio in Marina Vallarta. Next time I will exchange before I go. My bank gives 17.3 pesos to $1 US. Credit card rates are about 18 pesos to $1 US, so can be worth it to use your credit card.

I did go to one massage parlor in Marina Vallarta. Was walking around the marina in the morning drinking my coffee and kept getting asked if I wanted a message. Said no many times, but finally gave in and got the message. Wasn't looking for a he and didn't really know if the place gave the he or not. It was a decent massage with a somewhat attractive girl and towards the end of it she asks very quietly if I want a he. Really seems like a great city to visit and people seem friendly. Taxi drivers are great for pointing out brothels and strip clubs to visit while taking me back and forth from Marina Vallarta and Zona Romantica.
