As with most experiences in life not all of them are going to be good. Just reading in between the lines, I have to wonder what scared her so she had to run away and give up on the other half of the money. I really don't rate Puerto Vallarta or the other places I have seen in Mexico as great options for what I am looking for as after 8 years in Thailand I am spoiled.

I want to do some traveling in Central / South America and my priorities are these:
