The world market has $1 US equals 20.45 pesos. Bank ATMs are paying out at about 19.1. 6-7% below world market. Plus a transaction fee. If you exchange via a bank, you must provide a valid passport or a copy of it. For a 1000 peso session, I have given $50 US with no issues. The peso traded at 21.9 in mid-Jan, so I think the girls are happy to take US dollars. Just remember that the girls have to give the bar or house a cut.
