I've never been, had a few days off, and the airfare was very favorable!

First and foremost, I want to thank Old Parr for providing me with over the top information and help during my entire stay. The Dude is a legend in all the bars / clubs in PV. I can't thank him enough for guiding me through PV. Hopefully I can help him or others like he helped me in the future!

Airfare out of Tijuana: I flew Volaris for the fourth time out of Tijuana. The airfare was around $230 round trip. I used the CBX from Otay to the Tijuana airport and back. See my earlier report the CBX for details.

Taxi to hotel: There was a taxi stand in the airport for tourist and it cost 300 pesos. My hotel advised me to cross the street and it would only cost 150 pesos. It was the same cost returning to the airport.

Hotel:

I stayed in south downtown PV, a block for the Malecon at the Hotel Rio. The hotel was $260 for three nights. It seemed like a family hotel, and I never tried to bring a girl back to the room, so, girl friendly; not sure.

Friday afternoon, there was a group checking in the hotel, it seem like as least 100 people! The hotel has a small pool, and how that entire group got into the damn thing is beyond me. I love to sleep late, but Saturday and Sunday the pool noise was off the chart! Women screaming at children, children screaming at other children, it sucked! The restaurant that surrounds the pool is called, "Coexist," go figure!

Pinocchio. Appetizers before the first night out.
Vitea Oceanfront Bistro. Great tacos!
Mar and Tierra. Free fish tostatas.
El Carboncita. Great fucking tacos!
Si Seor at the beach. Great view, food and drinks sucked!
Burros. Great meat nachos!
Street tacos. Old Town.
No Way Jose. Outstanding chow!
Casa Tradicion Concina. Outstanding salsa made at your table!

Great information from one of the Web sites:

"When you get into a taxi and ask the driver to take you to a place with girls, you'll get led to one of these places and the taxi driver will receive up to a 400 peso commission and you'll end up with an empty wallet! If you have to go in a taxi, either make it clear that they are not receiving a commission (and tell the doorman that with the taxi driver present so there is no misunderstanding) and they won't charge you the cover charge. They charge that to recover the big sums they pay the taxi drivers to bring clients! The best way to avoid problems with the taxi drivers is to have them drop you off a block or so away. This will eliminate any chance of confusion.

These expensive clubs survive by paying the taxi drivers to bring them a continuing supply of new clients. They need this since most don't come back after finding out how expensive they really are. This leads to a real problem since, when you get into a taxi and ask to go to one of our recommended inexpensive places, the taxi driver will tell that they are closed, that it's dangerous there or some other story. The real truth is, that he isn't going to make any money taking you there and since his average daily wage is 500 pesos, the 400 + peso commission is a big score for him. Be aware of this and if the taxi driver tells you that he won't take you to where you want to go, get out and try another taxi!

It is also best to pay drink by drink since there is a chance that if you drink a lot and run a tab, it will be inflated. Ask to pay immediately after you receive your drink and make sure they bring back change. They are also notorious for just not bringing back your change!"

In each club, I asked several questions and did my best to write the answers on my trusty note pad. As each night went on, the more I drank. Thus, if I am wrong with any of my notes, feel free to correct me.

I always drink screwdrivers when I travel in Mexico, and always with the house vodka; Smirnoff.

The fichas were various prices, I am quoting the lowest ficha price.

Club: Aqua.
Cover charge: 250.
My drink: 150.
Ficha cost: 420.
Sex with one of the girls: 3100 for 30 minutes.
Sex on site: Yes.
Number of Chicas: 20/25.
Quality of Chicas: WOW.
Comments: Great club, but only for eyeball liberty!

Club: Taboo.
Cover charge: None.
My drink: 130.
Ficha cost: 295 (Fuck, just round it up to 300 for christ's sake!

Sex on site: Yes / No; sorry, the place was confusing.

Comments: I talked to the manager at length, and he kept saying, "I will give your people a special price. " Like "My people" were from fucking Mars or elsewhere!

Club: Vizzio.

Comments: Good size club in the Zona.

Comments: As soon as I walked in the door, I met one of the managers. The place was about empty! The manager told me I could drink all I wanted from 10 pm until 5 am for 1800 pesos. He had no answer to my other questions. I left shortly thereafter!

Club: Mamitas.

Ficha cost: 110 small beer.

Comments: I liked this place, it was small and cozy. With a friendly staff to boot.

Comments: My favorite place in PV. They had an anniversary party while I was there; free tequila shots! The girls hung out without pressure of buying fichas. The only concern, the tip was added to the final bill.

Comments: I had a long chat with Monica, who I really liked, and she gave me the run down on this place. Gringos in the house; NO.

Bar: Mesa de Coco.
Comments: Just a bar with good looking meseras and a nice bartender. If you can get a mesera to agree to meet later, it would have to be very hush-hush.

Bar: Casa de Bloody Marys.
Comments: A small bar with a bartender that makes strong fucking drinks!

Bar: Mar why Tierra.
Comments: Just a bar for drinks and food. With free fish tostadas.

Bar: Tijuanas.
Comments: I had the taxi stop by this place and I took a look inside. Small local place with two chunky girls inside; back in the damn cab!

Brothels:

Las Antorches.
Comments: I got there at 5 pm on Friday afternoon; no girls were there! This place only seems to be happening if a cruise ship is in port.

Street girls: Two areas.

First area: Colonia 5 de Diciembre. Calle Guatemala, especially on the corner with Boliva. The girls would not approach the car, so I got out of the car and walked and talked. I talked to 4 chicas and was quoted 200-300 pesos for one hour, plus the hotel cost.

Second area: Romantic Zona. Colonia Emiliano Zapata. In front of Hotel Enerdira. Calle Naranjo. I did not get a chance to go there, but one of the taxi drivers confirmed that there were SGs available.

Erotic Massage: There was a few places in Old Town on Calle Basilio Badillo. I tried to check out at least two of them on Sunday. Coni Spa, my first choice was closed; maybe because it was Sunday.

Across the street was Kinich Spa. I went in and asked about a massage with a happy ending hand job. The jefa told me it would be 1000 pesos for an hour, but I could not touch the girl. Fuck it, let's do this! It was a very nice hour indeed.

Overall thoughts on Puerto Vallarta:

I really enjoyed what this city had to offer. From the beach to the clubs / bars, I really liked this city!

The Malecon: Information from a local Web site:

"Located in the historic center of Puerto Vallarta, the Malecon is an 870 meter (2,854 ft) long boardwalk, which starts at the traditional Rosita Hotel, goes all the way to the Romantic Zone passing by the LOS Arcos amphitheater. It is a well known landmark not only because it is along the seashore but because all along it there are a great variety of restaurants, bars, art galleries, jewelry shops, boutiques, sculptures and other attractions that turn it into a favorite place for locals and visitors. ".

The Malecon is a must see during the evenings. Tons of people, street performers, and butt-load is happening on this boardwalk!

As far as the strip clubs, I thought the prices were outrageous when compared to Tijuana. Yes, there were a lot more options, but the clubs were quite pricey for drinks and chicas.

Either way, I really enjoyed my time in the city and felt safe walking and exploring the city.

Would I ever return? Hell yeah, I already booked my next trip!

My friend Karla let some of our mutual friends know what I time I was approximately arriving, so I was very surprised with the greetings I received upon my entrance, clapping, the hollering of party time, and the calling out of my name! Nice to be greeted in this manner especially in a bar such as this. Also several of my friends who work at night in Aqua are here to get the party started with me! It depends on where you're staying. I've been in places that have that stupid wristband thing and still let chicas up to my room. You just got to feel out the door people.

I'm wondering if you're going for a GFE, why you couldn't just get a day pass for the girl? I think most AI's offer them.

Most definitely not, especially in the beautiful resort you are staying in. You will have to go to one of the short time hotels that are approximately 10 minutes away from where you are staying.

Deborah doesn't work at "The Golden Boy" anymore she now works at "Las Nuevas Sports Bar" in Pitillal. It's on Revolucion and the corner of Emiliano Zapata if you've never been there before? I haven't.

I stopped in there the first week in April and was not impressed by anything I saw. I will probably swing by there again this coming Saturday after after I and my friends leave King George.

Tony1010 is the first person I know from the forum who used the services of Karla and he told me he and his friend were very satisfied with the service provided. He thought he and his friend paid 2,500 pesos for two hours which I find acceptable with the quality of the girls that Karla provided. He also told me the transaction went very smoothly with no bullshit involved.

It was nice to hear this as how I get treated might be very different from someone she does not know, so I very much appreciated the feedback from Tony1010.
