Been lurking on Google Earth and I am amazed at the clarity of the images.

    Plug in:

Francisco Medina Ascencio and Maria Montessori, Puerto Vallarta

    (I) Is Real Estate Vallarta & Beyond. Zoom in and look east across the street. The well worn path out back from the bar is very clear.

For a really great dining experience, continue east on MM to de Limon, Teatro Limon is superb, but pricy. Bison filet is best piece of meat I have ever eaten. Bruce is an amazing chef and has a fabulous restaurant.
I like Teatro Limon also but I find it a bit over rated, like you say it is a pricy. The "no menu" concept is interesting.

Girls are accommodating and not clock watchers. Love DATY, (don't think the Mexican men go there.)

Now the best part, find a chica that you like and negotiate to meet after hours. The motels are great and you can spend up to 8 hrs. I have even had a couple of the ladies spend the day with me in the condo for a hundred or less.

A new technique that I plan on refining this Oct. Is to sit on the bus bench in front of Soriana's market, facing Antorchas bar. On a day when a cruise ship is in town, the girls will be getting off the bus and crossing the street to go in. I have chatted up a couple on the sidewalk. Plan to take it to the next level this trip. Also keep an eye out on the bus stop across the street, just before WalMart. Same deal, working girls will walk south toward the bar.

You will find my wrinkled old ass sitting on the bus bench on Mon. 10/22, as the girls arrive at work. It's the first day a ship arrives in town after I do.

Also, remember that ship's crew members make up most of the clientel. They need to be back on board several hours before the ship departs, usually between 7 and 9 pm. Girls start to leave when crew does.

    PV Cruise Ship Schedule

Just checked the schedule to see how many ships will visit PV while I am in town this fall. Looks like there will be plenty of opportunity!

    http://puertodevallarta.com.mx/Documentos/Cal2012.pdf

Looks like there will be 8 ships in port over my two week stay. The ladies start arriving at Antorchas from 11am on.

    $$ Limits

"The exchange place I went to had a exchange cap of 1, 500 US dollars per month and I needed my passport for ID."

The dollar limits were put in place to stop the flow of drug money and money laundering. It applies to gringos as well as Nationals. Our timeshare is no longer able to change any US currency. The cambios require I'd. Easiest way to operate down in PV is to use the ATM's.

What price range have you paid the ladies and how much time did you get?

I haven't been to Las Antorchas in about 6 months now. But the times I have been there a massage with a happy ending was 500 pesos. Plus you have to pay for a room out back for 200 pesos. And if you're looking for intercourse it's another 500 pesos. I don't know if those are set rates. But that's what I've paid the 3 times I've been there with 3 different girls. Each time was about an hours worth and no one was a clock watcher rushing me about the time.

    http://gomexico.about.com/od/money-m...-in-mexico.htm

"With new laws in effect since September 2010, however, the use of US dollars in cash for making purchases is limited, and the sums exchanged at banks and currency exchange booths are restricted. These measures have been brought into effect to combat money laundering and organized crime, unfortunately tourists and legitimate businesses are also affected."

"the Mexican government will cap the amount of dollars foreigners can exchange for pesos in Banks & Money Exchange Establishments to no more than US$1, 500 per month. Many financial institutions are limiting this to exchange up to $300 USD in a single transaction. It may also be required to present an official identification when exchanging dollars for pesos."

I didn't have any need to exceed those dollar limits, so I didn't have any problems with the new rules.

"The measure WILL NOT AFFECT the amount of cash (in Mexican pesos) an international tourist can withdraw from an ATM machine on a daily or monthly basis."

The safest way to use an ATM is inside a bank during business hours. If the machine swallows your card, there will be someone there to help.

    PV Oct / Nov

I haven't used the cambios in ages. ATM's are the only way to go, IMHO. I take out 5, 000 pesos at a time and total fees are around $6. 00 USD. You will receive the best possible exchange rates.

I always use bank ATM machines and try to make all of my transactions at the same 2 locations. When you arrive in PV the machines at the airport are secure and you can select one where you just swipe your card. I have never had any issues at the Banorte ATM machines on Olas Altas, just a few doors

    South of Daiquiri Dicks.

Weather in early Oct. Can still be rainy. The season usually ends about mid-month.

I have never been to any of the gringo clubs. I refuse to pay US prices in Mexico. When I stop by Antorchas, I make arrangements to meet a lady the next day and give her my Messican cell number. We can then meet at one of the Motels de Paso. http://www.redzonetours.com/motels.html

You can pick up a cheap cell for 300 pesos or so and it will have enough minutes to get you going. You can add minutes at any OXXO.

The other one is on the south side on Olas Altas. It's about two blocks south of "Andales" right beside a hair saloon. At these two places you need a passport though. The majority of cambios you don't need any I'd but you won't get as good a rate.
    Great info thanks.
