A lot of guys are posting stuff in Spanish. That's "against the rules," or at least it was on the old board. I fwe wanted to follow a bunch of suck ass rules, we probably wouldn't be mongers. But, if guys are gonna post in Spanish, here's how you can put in the accents and symbols. While holding down the Alt key, and using the numeric keypad, enter the indicated number and you will get the indicated symbol. I don't know 'em all but it's a start.

Alt & 160 = á
Alt & 130 = é
Alt & 144 = É
Alt & 161 = í
Alt & 162 = ó
Alt & 163 = ú
Alt & 129 = ü (as in bilingüe)

While I'm hardly an expert, I have made numerous trips to Mexico- Guadalajara, Mex City, Morelia, Leon, San Miguel etc. and I've never had a problem with crime. Except for Mexico City, I feel much safer in Mexico than in my own neighborhood. And I have walked the streets during the wee hours in some poorer barrios. Maybe I'm lucky,but attitude is more important. If you go anywhere with an attitude and look for trouble, you are going to find it. Treat the girls right and they will be your protectors and look after you. I speak just enough spanish to get in trouble and the ladies often will come to my rescue in any misunderstanding. Trying to be cool or macho in a foreign environment is looking for trouble. Whether in the US or a foreign country, I always act a little naive and stupid but sweet with the girls. If you try to outsmart them and show how educated you are, you usually trigger a negative vibe. Act a little sweet and helpless and it triggers a "mothering instinct" in most women. They think, "This poor guy , I can't take advantage of him. He can barely take care of himself" and they end up looking after you. It works for me. - P

Hey worldtraveller, saw your post under Nogales. Too bad about what happened to you. Too bad you hate Mexico so much.

But blaming your bad experience on everyone in a country of 100 million is like saying I had a car wreck once, so I'll never drive again.

Maybe your attitude gets you in trouble. I've been whorin around Mexico for 30 years, and never, ever, had a problem. However I always behave like a guest in "their" country, am always respectful, and make a point to show respect.

And I show respect to a *****, or avoid her. But I never give her any shit.....They have too many big friends.

And I never, ever, act macho. That is their deal, and like all virile young macho bullies, they love a challenge. Don't try to proove anything when there. Especially in a ***** house. Just chill out, be polite, and enjoy all their great pussy.

Another tip is to not go to clubs with inadequate security. Here in Matamoros, the good clubs always frisk you when you enter. That is a good sign. And watch the big sholder guys who don't act like waiters. They are the bouncers. If you don't see any, then get the fuck out of there. Two or three big bouncers should always be present. They are paid to be there for two reasons. First to protect the girls from you, (in a good club), and second, to protect you the good customer, from other rowdy customers.

Most all the problems I've seen in mexico, were caused by gringos fighting gringos, or arrogant gringos insulting *****s or waiters. One drunk idiot actually was stupid enough to slap a ***** in a joint in Reynosa last month. What the mexican bouncers did to that big shot wasn't pretty...

But you don't have to let a dishonest waiter rip you off either. If he's short changing you, or whatever, just ask for the gerente, (manager). Don't argue too much over a few bucks. Just explain the problem to the manager, and if he does'nt solve it, get up and leave. Then post it on this board, and we will all boycott the fuckin place. And if someone happens to know the owner, or manager, then chances are that little fuckin waiter is going to be reported, and he will get the kick shitted out of him. (That's how the owners deal with corrupt waiters).

The girls are there to suck your dick and fuck you, for only a few dollars. And most know what's expected of them, and are ready, willing, and able to do their job.

Mexico is not a dangerous country. Just remember your a guest in their country, show a little respect, and enjoy all their beautiful young cheap pussy.

I had not seen this question of yours so sorry for the tardy response. www.yupi.com is one of many Spanish-language web sites with active personals. I mentioned it only because it seems to be so popular amongst my Mexican friends.

So far I have not had much success meeting Mexicanas online, but I have setup a few dates and so have not given up on it completely.

exactly, easy....!!! Once you're deemed reliable and an over-all good person, you have it made with regards to women. The hard part is winning them over. It took me almost a year in my small town before I was trusted. Many Mexicans view American men as predators and very "liberal" (with loose morals), so they are reluctant to come close. But once you win them over, there isn't a woman who is more loyal, more affectionate, or kinder than a Mexican woman. I'm almost at the point where I don't have the time or energy for my "hobby".

I too lived in Mexico for six years back in the old days. I can identify with this write up of yours. Other than this new age idea, meeting mexican woman is as you describe it, a drag. Same in most of Latin America and Europe by the way. Most big city girls are afraid to get close to a stranger, and the more open minded smaller town girls never go out. But in Mexico City my best hunting ground was the lobby bar of the Camino Real hotel, and other top hotels.....

There I met one very intelligent gauchupine, who became a very good female friend. She was a blue blood from the higher society there, and she used to always invite me to wedding parties. She had one every weekend. I met alot of great ladies at these large social gatherings, and that is where they tend to congregate. And because they were private, the woman were drinking, dancing, and very open to meeting men. Private parties are definitely the way to go in conservative Latin America, or most of Europe for that matter.

Find some social butterfly type at the Soriana Mall, and become buddies with her. Or some buddies sister, if he will trust you, (haha). Then get her to invite you into her social network. Sounds devious and desperate, but that is what happened to me accidentally in Mexico City. She was a good buddy, but we kept it platonic.

BUT REMEMBER. NOTHING HAPPENS QUICKLY IN A CONSERVATIVE COUNTRY. THANK GOD THE WHOLE WORLD ISN'T LIKE THE USA.....

Don't worry about the name, (you don't find it in the yelow pages anyway) yegua it's the translation of "mare" so Yeguita it's like to say "little mare".

AS definition:

I think you will find La Yeguita to your satisfaction. I have been
to La Yeguita a long time ago (about 5-7years ago). My cousin
used to study at el Tec de Monterrey so we used to go on a weekly basis. The women tend to vary depending on what you like but you"ll see a lot of 7-8-9's. Queretaro is growing quite fast
a lot of businesses and people are moving from el D.F so I would think that the quality of women is better now. I met a few of these women on the outside (monday used to be their day off)
I will be in Mexico for a few months and I do plan on visiting
Morelia- Lazaro Cardenas- Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan. I know
Puerto Vallarta isn't that great but Mazatlan should make up for it.
At a future time I will post my notes on Queretaro- Lazaro Cardenas- Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan. Also the posting from
Miller2k is pretty much correct. Women in Mexico tend to get
married fairly young so if you find a 30+ women unattached she's
either divorced with kids - a single mom with kids or something is
wrong with her (that's the way we mexicans tend to think- not all
of course).

cherubino also plans to make his next appearance at la yegua around the first week in august, budget permitting. as the date grows closer we should compare itineraries.

it seems a lot of people are saying single women over 30 are very rare in mexico and it might just be true. that is explainable as a cultural thing. in the male-dominated latin society, women do in fact have fewer career options than in the us and so it stands to reason more of them do marry and stay married.

of course it is equally possible that neither you nor i have figured out the best places to go looking for them. let's keep trying.

you noted your perception to be that most women in the street are either very young, slim and attractive or quite old looking and overweight. i do not buy into the argument that women age more quickly in mexico because a mexican clock ticks at the same speed as does ours. the phenomena we are observing here is something i have noted in other races, particularly orientals. it is more likely what we see is not a matter of female physiology but of our caucasian male perception of it.

even if we are reasonably good at meeting women once there, spending only a few days per trip there does present challenges. while sometimes that means that by the time we can set-up a date it is already time to leave; other times the señorita realizes the now-or-never situation and moves at breathtaking speed. the sword cuts two ways.

here is a curious note about using one now-defunct mexican web site. the site was a for-pay singles message board, but i accidentally discovered that when that same pay-site was browsed with a computer using the spanish language version of windows that same site suddenly became free! it was then blatantly obvious they were identifying the language of the internet browser and using that piece of information to soak the gringos. caveat emptor.

I checked out yupi.com and it looks promising. Thanks. I have been told by many others that single women over 30 are VERY rare in Mexico. But there are many divorciadas con hijos- although many of them are quite young as well. It also seems to me that most women I see in the street are either very young, slim and attractive (15-22) or quite old-looking and large. Where are the middle-age women? Or do they age quickly in Mexico - as I've also been told? I'm reasonable good at meeting women once I'm down there, but since I only spend 3-8 days in each city. time is of the essence. By the time I can set-up a date, I'm ready to leave.
