Cheers Nibu!! You are absolutely right. I am sure some of Mexico's best sex destinations involve the south of the country, particularly Oaxaca and Chiapas, that urgently need reviewing! Proko....................First I have to tell you that I have been reading your posts along with Miller2K and Cupid in the Morelia section and have respect for all of you guys.We all know the purpose of this board,but you guys all have great attitudes towards Mexico,the people and traditions.Anyone who wants the best info on Mexico should read the posts in the Morelia section.....As for me I work for a US consumer products company that has opened offices in Guadalajara.In your travels throughout Mexico you have probably seen all the new Wal Marts,Costco's,Sam's Clubs,Office Depot,Office Max,etc. These are all customers of my company.I live in the San Francisco area,but now rent a house in Guadalajara.I spend about 50% of my time in each place. I also travel frequently to the DF and throughout Mexico in this sales position. It has given me a great opportunity to learn abot Mexico at someone elses expense.I truly love the people and the country,especially the women.I was born and raised in the midwest,45 and divorced for three years after 22 years of marriage.I first started traveling to Mexico 2-3 times a year 6 years ago,but as busines has grown it has become my full time assignment.Since my divorce I have only dated latina women and only in Mexico,none in the US.I had my crazy period for 2 years after the divorce,Mexico is a great place to do that.A year ago I decided I was ready for a more serious relationship and only started dating amateurs. Thanks for the response. While aware that I should go slow, I also know that since I don't live in Mexico and I usually spend no more than 7-10 days in one city, it's going to be tough to fit 4+ dates in before I leave. And it's not reasonable to expect a gringo to return to see you if you haven't even kissed him! But she was pretty firm in her ideas - and mentioned repeatedly "las reglas" as if there is a book by that title. And neither of us are young "kids". I'm in my 40's and she was 37! But I suspect this only makes things worse. The older you get, the more important rules and respect become . . .
Renegade, are you a student or work in Mexico? How did you end up there? Mexican relatives or Real Gringo? Just wondering.

Mexican Dating Rules 2.....................................................After two enjoyable years of mongering in Mexico I now have a novia of four months in Guadalajara.I did not even kiss her until the fourth date,but by the 6 date we were making love.I think this is very typical of Mexican women.They also are not big on kissing in public or in front of there family or friends.But believe me it is definitely worth the patience and wait,I am one happy gringo.

I am wanting to live for a exteneded period in Tampico. How much does a nice apartment or house rent for? Is there alot of tourist now in Tampico(hopefully not) Is it more expensive than other places.Any other suggestions on good places to live , with good weather and not expensive and down to earth women? Also my spanish is okay, I get by with it , But I hear that knowing english and spanish can get you a pretty good job in Mexico especially away from the border.Like in a factory or something. I also hear building a house is cheap. I may want to got this route if it is better in the long run. What kind of business would be a good one to open?Possibly import/export .

Mexican Dating Rules

Several weeks ago in Morelia, I had a date with an attractive woman who had shown interest in going out with me. We went (at her suggestion) to a cafe where we ordered drinks and talked. I made slight body contact - by touching her arm while talking to her - which to me was no big deal. I WAS trying to show affection but it was pretty subtle stuff. Well not to her. She threw a fit telling me, "No sabes las reglas? No puedes tocarme ni un poco en la primera cita!". I was surprised by her response and apologized to no avail. It might have been different if she hadn't been chasing me around the school all week and accepted my offer of a date, but considering the circumstances, I was in shock. She explained that she didnt sleep with men she had just met and was upset that I would think of her in that way. Believe me, we were 100 miles away from sex and our conversation was mostly about religion! Turns out she was VERY religious and considered my making any contact as disrespectful. I can verify that www.yupimsn.com rules. I write and read Spanish pretty well although my spoken skills are lagging behind. I posted my profile in Spanish with a photo and have gotten literally hundreds of responses in 6-7 weeks. (I paid $30 for 3 months where girls can contact me for free.) Most of the girls are from South America, especially Peru and Colombia, but there are also many Mexican and Dominican girls and a handful in the U.S. If you have almost zero Spanish skills of course your luck will be limited but still possible. I plan on meeting at least one particular girl in Mexico City during my upcoming pre-planned trip to central Mexico.
