Went on a Friday night and Saturday night a couple of weeks ago. The quality of the ladies I thought was very nice. The women are expensive. They want about 100.00 to go to the room and the club charges 30.00 for the room. I felt very safe and had a great time.

Went to Jessie's down town and there was only 2 girls working. One was hot and I had a great time.

Nuevo Progresso has been having real problems lately. The whole town is closing up about 7 PM.

They had too Hookers murdered last month. They were in the little "Topless Bar" and they left to the local motel. And then murdered.

Then they had the XO convenience store shot up too. Nu.

Beginning in the evening of Sunday, February 1, reports of blockades and shootouts in northern Tamaulipas has spread online. It appears that the first reports were of blockades and spikes being dropped on the highway between Anahuac and Valle Hermoso.

Later that night word spread of a shootout in Nuevo Progreso, followed by the highway between Rio Bravo and Reynosa being completely blocked. Convoys of vehicles apparently carrying cartel members were also reported in Rio Bravo.

Around the same time began reports of shootouts in Reynosa. The largest of the shootouts, occurring near the Las Fuentes traffic circle, began around 4:20 AM on February 2 and lasted over an hour and a half. Eyewitnesses claimed multiple dead bodies in the area. As of 7:30 PM Central Time reports of shootings in Reynosa continue.

While the situation is still developing and information is sporadic, there are indications that war is erupting between two factions of the Gulf Cartel, Matamoros and LOS Metros of Reynosa. The primary evidence supporting this is reports of vehicles with Escorpióand, M3, XX, or 900 painted on the windows.

Although it has been years since these factions were united under the same leadership, hostilities appeared to be sporadic and limited in scope. With the sudden elevated level of violence, it appears that a major development has taken place within the Gulf Cartel, the nature of which has yet to be revealed.

I just moved to Austin and would love to have a cool guy to hobby with regularly on Mexico trips. Any interest?

I live in the Austin metro, maybe about every two months I make a weekend trip down to Reynosa. I used to go as frequently as two weeks before I realized I could find better things to occupy my time. I also used to incorporate a tandem of Laredo / Reynosa in my fun runs until the quality of NLBT let me down too many times plus my US-side contact in Laredo accepted a job transfer to Galveston.

I have one other person in Austin who I try to invite as a last minute effort as the baggage he brings is not worth the effort, anyone besides him would be a blessing!

I'm a pretty chill guy. I'm not entirely dependent on border towns, just doing that while I wait patiently to get a nibble on OKCupid. Some day.

When I'm not doing that secret life, my other secret life is all over the US of A. On separate stealth trips, I've driven from here as far west to San Francisco, and as far north as Toronto. On the Toronto return, in the Detroit BP Entry no one believed me when I answered "Toronto Blue Jays. " They were more worried why I had Texas plates in Mich / Ontario and my passport was used 11 days prior in McAllen. "I'm allowed to have 2 different hobbies. I know the timing is bad on my part but come on!" That was 95 ugly minutes of my life I'll never see again.

And when I was in LOS Angeles for a weekend, I borrowed the rent car and found myself in Tijuana. BP was more lenient then.

Someday I'd like to take an extended weekend and drive or something as far as Guadalajara / Puerto Vallarta. With or without the working girls.

Equally awesome would be a nice lady at one of those Malls in Nuevo Laredo who would be up for meeting for a drink after her shift.

So that's me in a nutshell in the ATX, getting my socks off in Reynosa maybe every two months, until someday when that someone materializes. If you're up for whatever, not sure how you want to swap contact info, maybe we can each clap our heels three times and a piece of paper will show up on our desks?

I don't know anything about the downtown scene and I usually go to Mexico by myself. I live near Austin and I don't have any friends in the hobby to go with me. I would be happy to buy your drinks one evening if you would like to show me the ropes.

El Centro is not the Zona de Tolerancia right? Do you run any risk of being arrested / extorted by Law Enforcement? I realize probably anywhere you go in Mexico there is some risk of that. I have never had any problems at Hunters Club other than over paying. And even then that is probably relative. I have had a few women that would be 300-400.00 an hour in the US for a lot less than that.

No el centro (downtown) isn't la zona. There's always risk, but its changed a bit over the years and its minimal, but I always wait outside just to see any patrol drive around then ill wait another couple minutes to make sure they moved on elsewhere.

Yes I know the quality of girls at Boystown is great but as I said I'm just going to bust a nut and have a few brews so a $20 4 star girls is fine for me.

Yes sir. I live across the border, and if I go during the day its usually after about 4 pm. If not on the weekends.

I have actually hung out with a couple of members that are on this forum here in downtown Acuna as well as la Zona when it was all open.

I don't know why anyone even still goes to BT in Acuna. Damn Tino still won't lower his prices even when theres only 10 customers per night as stated. I just can't bring myself to pay like $5 a beer (what it was last time I went, about 6 years ago+) and where drinks at like $9 and pay 100+ to bang.

I'm perfectly happy doing this in el centro of Acuna where the beers are about 1. 50 US /15 pesos and girl drinks are about 25/30 pesos and to bang a pretty decent 5 to about 7 girl is only about 250 pesos including the room (22 US!

And CenTex; I would never let them cuff me for any reason!

Went the second weekend in July. Took border taxi to the hunters club. Was surprised by the number of hot women. There were probably 15 women working but they were all 7-9 except one. I was truly impressed by the quality. There was about 10 customers in there. I would say there was one 9 and I was lucky enough to hook up with her. The prices are high at this club but not as high as the US. I don't speak Spanish and I feel comfortable at this place. Reynosa boystown is a much better value but I have not run into any armed cartel people in Acuna yet. There was no line at the bridge coming back. Took 5 minutes to clear immigration. There was a much better selection of women than the last time I went.

CBP has details of individuals' border crossings on line.

I have crossed border a few times without passport. CBP would ask personal information and pull up info and pictures for verification then let me go with some bitching.

But if anyone keep crossing back without passport, CBP can cause a big inconvenience, like a few hours delay, and perhaps administrative fines...

When I drove in from Windsor, ON into Detroit, MI in my car with Texas plates, the CBP guy mumbled "You go to Laredo alot!" He didn't believe my story and it took 45 minutes to get thru secondary.

Even with an even longer thorough detaining on March 1 in Laredo which had me cuffed briefly, I've never been fined by CBP. Ever.
