Very nice and safe street scene in Queretero: from 9pm to 1am there are usually about 15 girls hanging around what appears to be a bus stop on Av. Universidad, about 2 blocks east of Av. 8 de Febrero. This is a "protected" sanctioned by the city. Quality varies greatly as does age of girls, but you can find an occasional 7 maybe even 8 in her 20s. Can't beat cost: 360 pesos, including room, for FS.

Here's some updated info on "Punto G" -still its good old self at Av. Universidad #306. Information as of December 2004.

Minimum consumption is DOWN to 120.00 pesos. A compulsory tip of 10% is automatically added to the bill, so NMP 120.00 +12.00 = NMP 132.00

Like before drinks for the girls can run really high, and they've also gotten the knack of the double-drink routine (regular tequila = NMP 70.00, double tequila = NMP 140.00). Double drinks require you to sign two boletos - you've been warned.

Table dances (still length of one song) are DOWN to NMP 70.00; privados are also DOWN to NMP 140.00. The "Privado especial" is UP to 700 pesos (in private booth, length of approx. three songs, usually including CBJ; YMMV, of course).

No info about FS take-out on in-house.

Last time I was there, there were about 10 girls - about half new ones I'd never seen, the rest some of the old regulars (Eva, Paola, etc.). The standard of the girls is as usual. Also based on the new pricing structure, I got the impression that the girls were slightly moving into the OPS direction - a bit pushier about drinks, and actually less inclined to get money through table dances, privados, and privados especiales. Or it might just have been this bunch of girls. Updates to come.

Had to check it out last Saturday, since I've never been there - and unfortunately, I had to go by myself. As DollarBill mentioned, it's located on Celaya Libre between El Pueblito and the Simmons plant on the south side of the road. Several cab drivers had never heard of it, and the one who had did have trouble locating it (finally, my cabbie described the location as close to the pueblito of "Negreta"). Hope this helps, and I promise to get more accurate directions the next time. Cab fare from downtown is approx. $45.

A correction: the name seems to be Ops (one O), but pronounced like "oops" in English.

Cover: $50. Will be added to the final bill, no upfront money.

Minimum Consumption: none. Drinks seem reasonably priced (Cuba Libre $40; Beer $30, Cubeta of beers $180)

Privates: $180 per song. No table dances, as mentioned before.

Ladies Drinks: $70. But, of course, the usual double-drink routine. Bought a girl a drink, but of course she ordered a double. So that lady drink actually came to $140. Surely wasn't happy about that - especially if nobody explains this in very plain terms upfront.

Girls: about 15 girls present. One girl told me that they have about 20 working there. Clearly the best-looking selection of girls I've seen in Queretaro - comparable to the quality a Luxor in Celaya reported on earlier. Mostly 8, a few 9s.

Pressure environment: again, comparable to Luxor in Celaya. The girl I talked to was VERY quick about asking for a drink, downed it in about 10 minutes, then asked for another. I declined, which was a smart move: otherwise, just talking to this girl would have cost me $280.

Recommendation: sit close to the stage only. Otherwise, you're just too far to get a close look. And you want to take a close look at these hotties.

Availability of BJs/FS: didn't enquire, since I was getting the impression that this was definitely a high-end joint. Will investigate the next time.

Comments: While the setup of the joint suggests that it is designed to cater to the more affluent executive type, it sure didn't suffer from a shortage of Mexican frat boy types. While it would be unfair to judge a place by a single visit, it appears to me that the girls are rather inclined to make money by getting you to buy them drinks than anything else. Hardly ever saw anyone leaving with a girl to the Privado area. So essentially, seems like an upscale version of Fiesta Charra, but more high-pressure in terms of buying drinks.

Summary: Look, but don't touch - it will cost you dearly. And yes, could I have another drink?

I appreciate the details in your report, but I know from experience that a lot of people find it easier to read a report if the paragraphs are separated by a single blank line.

I know how this happens: You're banging away at the keyboard, putting your thoughts into the report as fast as you can write them. However, if you could hit the return key TWICE at the end of each paragraph, your report would be much easier to read, which would certainly be appreciated by your fellow Forum Members.

This info is NOT first hand as I did not make it there last night. A guy in my company went there last night and advised me that there are:

*2 stages (1 main and 1 smaller)
*No Table Dances. Just Privates (for $180 per song). Of course the girls also dance on stage for free.
*Ladies Drinks - $90 for whatever they drink (beer, water, whiskey...)

Apparently, Punto G now automatically adds a compulsory 10% tip to the bill. So the minimum consumption now is up to the strange sum of NMP 143.00. In other words, 130.00 plus 10%. Thought you guys out there wanted to know, to avoid overtipping.

Went there yesterday (Monday), and guess what - they had only four (!) girls working. The main security guy told me that because of the ongoing rain here, most girls couldn't make it. I think Querétaro should be declared an emergency zone - this is serious stuff. I mean, if it starts raining like it did last August, when there was quite a bit of flooding, then there is not gonna be any substantial mongering at all in this city of roughly a million or what? Punto G is closed on Sunday!

We found that out the hard way after hanging out with El Austriaco, and a few others from Austria for a couple of hours of counting down the minutes until it opened. We went there and it was all dark inside and outside.

Made for an early evening on Sunday.

Most of the SW's were taking the night off also (observation made to me by El Austriaco).

Had to resort to going to bed before 11 PM on a night when my wife was out of town.

Here's some updated info on "Punto G" in Queretaro at Av. Universidad #306 (as of last week).

Minimum consumption is up to 130 pesos. Drinks are still reasonable priced (30 for a Corona, 45 or so for Cuba Libre). Drinks for the girls can run really high (200 Pesos for a double tequila), so make sure you ask before ordering away. At 80 pesos, table dances (length of one song) are still a pretty good value; privados are still 160 pesos (in a private booth, touch where you want, length of one song). The "Privado especial" is also still at 600 pesos (in private booth, length of approx. three songs, including CBJ). Don't remember pricing for FS, whether in-house or take-out. Bring your own condom - if you don't, you can buy one there, but the charge (50 pesos) is outrageous, IMHO.

During the week, most of the time, only 7 to 8 girls are present. Recommended: Carla. Very sexy, great table dances, touch almost everywhere you want, will allow DATY during Privados Especiales, great CBJs.

Hotel Venus - Queretaro, QRO Autopisa Mexico km 210 (north side)

I just wanted to report that a good "love motel" to visit if you have gotten yourself a "working" girl is called Hotel Venus. cost is 250 pesos for the entrance to the room, and you can use it as long as you need to. You drive your car in to the hotel, pay the lady and she tells you a number. You drive your car to the garage that shows that number, and park, press the electric garage door, and go up to the steps and into the room. Nice KS bed, plenty of porn channels, and also large nice clean bathroom with plenty of hot water. A condom also comes with the room.

Normally at night, there are many TV's working the area and of course I am not into that, but there are real women working on Universidad like I have previous reported.
