Posts: 35After over 20 trips to Thailand the last year mainly to Pattaya I feel little tired of Thailand. Of course Thailand is a very good travel destination and very easy to discover. But I think the scene in Thailand has changed the last year. More crime and all the tourism have made that the place has lost it's charm. The quality of girls are not very good and you really need to look to find some special in Pattaya. I have also experienced Brasil. My last trip in Brasil was in 2006. Brasil is a nice place but you need to take some precautions and to be prepared that the crime scene is high. In some areas in Rio De Janeiro, Receife, Natal and Fortaleza I really felt unsafe. In Cuba I feel that I have more to discover. Havana is secure and the people very friendly. The sun is shining, girls are beautiful, the atmosphere is magic and the culture intresting. I'm also thinking about to vist the Phillipines and Cebu. Some friends recommended the place.

Posts: 35Now everything is finally for my third trip to Cuba. I have my booking confirmation for the casa and tickets. I was in Cuba in January this year and have a great stay. The Island is beautiful, safe, interesting culture and wonderful people. This time I will check out new places like Don Cangrejo, Dos Gardenias, El Gato Tuerto, Disco Turquinos and other places. In January I basically visit famous tourist clubs like Salon Rojo, La Cecilia, Jhonny's, Casa de La Musica, La Maison and others. This time I'm looking for new experiences. You need some trips to know a place.

Posts: 322Well said. Treat a country, a culture and a woman respectfully, and you will be richly rewarded. Treat them with contempt, and they will see right through you, she'll treat you like the yuma you project when you could have been treated like a king. It is all about choices, and a bit of karma.

Posts: 240I have stayed there a few times at Atlantico, very nice, but not GF (unless you want to sign her in and pay full day rate for her) and very hard to sneak in a chica or bribing a guard doesn't happen much either.

yes, the kind of casa you are looking for is available, some even have private entrances, maybe someone here will take the trouble to share. i have stayed in casas where the owners gave me the key and never bothered, but we were all using the same entrance, so a family member would occasionally be in the living room when i came through. they did not mention the issue of cubanas, and in those cases i ended up spending the night out of the house, kinda wandering back early in the morning. in some of my old reports, i ended up with older cougar, milf types who just took me back to their places.

Also, if you are just there to monger, the Cubanas you are likely to come across will be really hardcore.

Posts: 142No one said hateful thing about Fidel
Just came back today from a 10 day trip, and I will post the report in the following days.
There are people who are going to defend the system, and there are people who are going to say it is malo mal.
In my simple logic this is how it works.
If someones family was doing well under Batista, someone is from a city, someone has relatives in Miami, someone is closer to a tourist then that someone is going to say bad things about the system (not Fidel)
If someone was poor and exploited by Batista and his cronies, someone is from a small town / farm then that someone either does not have an opinion or not a bad opinion about the system.
A fellow working hard in the field, another fellow construction employee, the lady who sells vegetables did not bad mouth the system to me, even when I gave them an option to do so in a very confidential way.
The lazy fellow, driving around a beaten up taxi funded by his family in Miami, and the chica who owns 12 pairs (no typo) of footwear and hangs around with tourists saying she is poor, said to me it is bad.
It is for Cubans to say what they want, I have no right to say what is good for them. Let time decide.

This is a nice discussion. If you have been to Mexico, Colombia and other places then you will do fine in Cuba. The reason why I directed you elsewhere is because you asked the question "What is a casa," something that would be best answered outside of this site. As far as space to hook up, there would be at least 2 forms of casas, with plenty of grey area.
1- A legal, registered casa that is guest friendly, meaning they would allow you to bring a Cubana into the place and let her spend the night with you after she registers. The problem with this is that they MAY NOT allow another woman for the duration of time that you are staying there, so if she is no good after your first session then it complicates things for you. Also, some Cubanas may be unwilling to share their information, with Cuba being a police state and all. This will be especially the case of the chica has been busted for jineterismo. You will definitely run into this problem if you are in hotels. Some casa owners may just want to hold onto the woman's I'd and not register her, it all depends. Also, you may be in one city where you will have no problem registering your chica, and then have trouble doing the same thing in the next city.
2- An illegal casa, which basically means someone renting out a room for hookups. This is not a bad idea for daytime quickies. I have even spent nights at such casas, the downside being you have to leave at around 6 am. The going rate for overnighting at illegal casas seems to be no more than $15 CUC. Any Cuban will have no trouble finding such a place.
Anyway, moving on. Like Wet Nose said, things in Cuba change from week to week, and you may just have the misfortune of arriving at the beginning of a crackdown on jineterismo. A lot of stuff is possible in Cuba, it just depends.
RE: Reports of distinction. A lot of people, yours truly included, do not even bother to take that extra step to make sure one's report is included in the "Reports of distinction" section. So you may have to do more reading.
There are no strip clubs in Cuba. I recall a post about a high end restaurant that had opened with waitresses in short, tight, cleavage bearing outfits, but the girls were not available for takeout. It seems that pretty much every woman in Cuba is wearing something that is too short, too tight and shows too much cleavage anyway.
Mr. Gogo and Combo are absolutely right, go for more than just hooking up with Cubanas. I have met a few chaps that were there just for the pussy, and it was just weird talking to them. One sat next to me on the Nassau- Havana flight once, and could not name a single museum he had been to in 6 trips to Cuba. There is amazing history, architecture, music etc. Exploring the other side of Cuba also gives you an opportunity to meet with regular, girl-next-door types that you will not meet in the clubs. In one of your earlier posts, you talked of the possibility of a "Long term date" with a Cubana who would show you around the best clubs and restaurants. It is highly unlikely that you will meet this kind of Cubana at Salon Rojo or Casa de la Musica.
I have met random Cubanas that were working as waitresses, others were in a queue for ice cream, others I stopped to ask for directions to a museum or plaza. One of my future missions is to hook up with a Cuban museum guide, with their sexy fishnet pantyhose and navy blue miniskirts.

Its good music everywhere, and its sung with passion. There is no guaranteed financial reward, they sing fir the love of Cuban music. From the jazz at la Zorra why el Cuervo to Casa de Musica. From the beach to guys singing on the Malecon. Its everywhere.
From the ancient buildings that are untouched over the last 100 years to the Spanish history that still stands.
From the people who make the best of a bad situation. To the beautiful women who still make love with passion. To the romantic air that makes Cubans still believe in romance.
I really am starting to dislike guys that go there exclusively to exploit the island for its pretty women who fuck for less. Respect the island and the people and you will receive all the rewards the island has to offer. Go there looking for the next Rio fuck fest and the people will see through your deception.

As far as Colombia, been there, but the clubs aren't great. The girls are hardcore and hot, but not much to do there. I will go back one day, but I assume there are more things to do in Cuba during the dead time, and from what I gather the cuban girls are not as hardcore.
