    The same as always, blood.

"How do you return confiscated property?" Good question. The last time I looked, the USA had a 6 billion dollar lawsuit against Cuba for that very thing. We are talking about Rail Roads, Sugar Plantations and Mills, Rum Distilleries, Electric Infrastructure, Huge farms and plantations, Shirt Factories, Tobacco Industry, Mom and Pop grocery Stores, Gas Stations, you name it. IMO, it can't be replaced, all that can be done now is a monetary settlement. Which BTW, Cuba doesn't have. EDIT; or we can invade Cuba and reclaim our shit!

    Dark days ahead for Cuba.

Keep Dreaming. The girls in Cuba are scared shitless of the police and the very appearance of working for a living.

I responded in my latest post to a member in my blocked list (for obvious trolling reasons) by mistake (when you are not logged in properly the list does not show, and you can't remove the post after 25 hours), however the content of the post is very true. As for the island the Cuban people have to move forward and many deals have to be made. What do you do with all those who have blood on their hands? How feasible is to return the confiscated property to owners or their heirs? How to incentivize the minority who holds the power to share it? How to make sure the accomplishments remain and the evils don't resurface?

You can travel to Cuba already but it seems that the population is getting uncomfortable with the state of the economy and are beginning to protest, if you see one, just go the other way. Fast.

Just go over there and see what happens. I'm Cuban myself but even when I have close relatives there, I don't visit. I go to DR instead but for different reasons.
Great post, thank you! And you're right, the population is getting restless, check out these videos, people are starting to rise up!

And then the main question is, if I am a first time tourist coming to Cuba for a month, with little knowledge of Spanish and no connections to anyone in the black market, will I be able to buy normal, good food, alcohol, hygiene products, medications (Viagra, Tylenol) etc. with a non-American dollar credit card? Most tourists going to Cuba are doing it due to curiosity. Mongering is not really that easy in Cuba, there are plenty of willing, fine women but getting them to your place is complicated, in reality, the "authorities" love your money but prefer that you stay away from the women, mainly because they are very suspicious of foreigners, they "see" CIA agents in every one of them.

I've been to Cuba at least 10 times within a two year period. Besides my group or those associated with the group; I never seen another person associated with our hobby. When Obama lifted traveling restrictions, I noticed there were more family tourist and girlfriend getaways than single men traveling for Adventure on the planes departing from the US.

    Hi,

    Does ISG work in Cuba?

    So do I!

Bring in cash (euros), set up yourself in Miramar with an educated connected family, ask English speaking member to assist you for a remuneration with all things Cuban. Bring all medications and hygiene products with you. Rum is available. Good food is an issue, but that's why you need to be in the best area. I would cook myself, as Cuban cuisine is one of the worst in the world due to the economic situation. Forget about politics. It's only a small minority that visit the island for the hobby. As for police, you have to know that all girls are different. Many are known to authorities and just report to them. It's a police state, and the role of police everywhere is not to fight crime, but keep it under control. Don't do drugs, minors or politics, be bold and straightforward, but respectful, pay, pay, pay and you will be ok. Have fun, good luck, come back and report.

Rather than using your Israeli credit card to buy stuff have a debit card to pull cash out of the ATMs. Money talks in Cuba louder than anywhere on earth.
Excellent post. But I would be very cautious about relying on ATM's in Cuba.

You can quit wondering about the police pressure easing up that's not going to happen. And by the way it's mostly pressure on the chicas not the foreign men. The police are enforcing what the government wants and the new president has taken harder stance than Fidel and Raul.

I doubt Viagra exists on the island outside of the elite class having access. No one else would have money for that type of thing anyhow. Without spanish speaking abiity I would discourage you from having high expectations should you travel to Cuba. But you might want to go anyhow for the culture aspect and just to gain an understanding how difficult are the conditions there. And if you meet the right person like a bi-lingual local who wants to make some money and knows the scene anything is possible.

I visited with like 8 or 10 apartment rentals to ask about working a deal of extra money to bring in a chica (guest fee) and all renters are deathly afraid of "the man". Chicas must be registered in their official book. Somebody told me the academy for training Cuba's policia is located in Holguin and that's why it's so hard ass there. So you would need good spanish skills and work the local scene to find a place to fuck any chica you find. For a few bucks someone would probably let you use a bedroom. That's how Cuba works you know.

Exactly Diave that's the beautiful thing about Cuba. Money talks so well and everyone is so open-minded about ways to make a CUC. It's the only place I feel comfortable walking up to regular chicas like I'm their own age and asking to hang out together. Normally the answer is "si papi" LOL.

I guess what we'd like to know is if a guy goes with "dollars, euros, or gold bars" (that IS a funny line!) could we find a place to buy beer? If I can't buy beer easily I'm not going. And could we find good paladars so we wouldn't come back home 5 or 10 pounds lighter than we arrived? I can figure out the rest thanks LOL.
I promise you that you will be able to find several if not many good paladars in havana that also sell beers. Take my word for it, if not, I will invite you for some beers at my home.
