Been to Cuba a couple dozen times. Last trip over 10 years ago. Planning a trip Jan 18 for 2 weeks. I speak enough Spanish to get around.

What's the latest on Havana Casas. And guest policies?

Best places to meet ladies? Not the hardcore clubs, just the normal jineteras?

What's the going rates for the ladies? Used to paying 30 bucks USD for 24 hours.

Do I need a rental car like in the old days?

There are lot of changes in Cuba. Local currency CUC not exists anymore. Local moneda national CUP official rate 1 $:24 CUP Black market rate 1 $: 72: CUP 1 Euro: 90 CUP.

Most Stores not accept money anymore, no CUP, no dollars, only not American Bank Cards and you need passport to buy even cigarettes. So you need cash to pay taxi, casa and chicas and you need not American bank cards to pay food and things in the stores.

People reports that streets are empty and no girls on the streets. Probably the best way to find ladies to ask house owners or pimps. Guys who went to Cuba before Covid to find ladies now prefer to go there with girlfriends from their countries.

My tickets are booked for Feb 4th. I am planning to drive from Havana to Holguin. Would love to get insights on where to play in Havana and some of the non touristy places in between.

I think everywhere is basically non touristy, unless you wander on to one of the resort developments. But they are generally no where near a main highway, mostly off on a key or on islands.

Please let us know what the situation is on the ground there as far as bars, restaurants, clubs and of course chicas. I am hoping to go this spring but want the closest to the full experience as possible post covid. Flights from the US are VERY expensive right now. I'm going to Cartagena in Jan instead.

Within March so many things can change. These days you should book 1 week in advance max. Just my two cents. And I would not accept to pay the room in euros. This is BS.

I have the option to cancel with a full refund until a couple of days before.

I just made a reservation for next March with an airbnb in Havana.

They will give you a key and you can bring in whatever guests you want to. Technically she has to show her ID to the owner, which is required by law, however I have a suspicion that the owners may look the other way and not notice who is accompanying you wink wink.

They advised me to bring euros in ten euro notes to pay for expenses and they will help me exchange them when necessary for 70 CUP per euro, however some private businesses will take the euros.

Why wouldn't they want to get paid in US dollars?

They don't want Cuban pesos because they can get better deal with US dollars, and that's what they want right now that they can go to Nicaragua without visas and dollars are better for them than Euros. They expect that the US dollar could get between 100-150 pesos in the street, the government would give you just 24 to the dollar, and you bet that many will fall for it. Most tourists do not do any research before they travel. Luckily, mongers are wiser.

I heard that Banks in Cuba stopped accepting US $, that's why I'm asking.

And its also the first time, that I hear, that US $ is better for them, than €. I was in Cuba 5 years ago the last time and they were begging for my €.

But enough to that. Its more interesting how the prices for the Chicas are right now?

I'm also interested in the Answers for the Questions asked below and I also heard that the prices went up a lot and also wages went up, sometimes even a few times more than before the pandemic, because of reforms.

And how you pay the chicas? I heard, that they don't want any Cuban Peso or $ and mostly want to get paid in . Also I heard that the prices for the Chics went up a lot.

To be honest, I think almost everyone are willing to have sex for money but not for less. They are really desperate now, so prices are higher than before but you can always negotiate.

I am sorry however I don't understand. The poorer a country is the cheaper the sex. In Moscow you'll pay $100 for a girl who in London will be $500. If Cuba is now very poor won't prices be very low? For example will a girl live with me for a week 24/7 for $1000 cash?

There are more tourists now as compared to before November 15. At least in havana. The city is more lively now.
