You are in a county where the average salary is around 12-20 cuc a month. Why in earth you will pay 400% of that salary for a couple of hours or all nighters of sex? WHY?

You want luxury and life's niceties as you put it, go to the French Reviera not Cuba!

And it makes no sense that you will spend that much money including air travels just to be with prostitutes! Can't you find young beautiful white women in your town for around $800! Just go to universities and colleges or try the web!

Finally, I am a big believer in live and let live. But when someone is obviously trying to brag about how much money they have spent in a low income country like Cuba and insult low income folks like those working at such places as Wal-Mart I draw the. And as for Solon Rojo, and the like, it is true, these girls expect much more than the girls you can find in other provinces. I personally prefer to do my business, when I do my business, outside of Havana. I find the girls in Havana too professional. Making statements and comments like this show that you either have never been to Havana or have not been there in at least ten years. Also they pay for a taxi to get to Salon Rojo, so basically they invest about 25-30 CUC just for the possibility to get a John for the night. I laugh when others complain about paying 70 CUC for an all night deal with a late teens / early twenties smoking hot Cubana.

As for the car the rate I paid is the rate on the REX website and is non-negotiable for the Audi A4 I rented. Why would I want to wait around for a taxi driver to come pick me up when I can have a nice car sitting in my driveway, waiting outside the nightclub, etc waiting to to take me anywhere I want to go at a moment's notice? The standard rate for a top shelf three bedroom private house in Siboney with pool, servants, etc is 300 CUC per night. There are several websites that demonstrate this and there is obviously high demand for this level of accommodations because I have never been able to get the same house twice as they are always booked solid.

There is clearly a high end experience available to mongers with means in Havana that drives the NMG's (no money guys) crazy with envy. If you think that 300 CUC day / 3 people. 200 CUC day / 3 people is expensive for a comfortable and absolutely hassle free (which is not easy to come by in Cuba) vacation then I suggest that you quit your job at Wal Mart and go back to school so you can enjoy some of the niceties that life offers.

When in Havana avoid Salon Rojo, Johnnys Rio Club and Casa de Musica.

These clubs only attract professional prostitutes and I occasionally go because its a last resort for pussy.

I usually spend 60 cuc for the girls and service is poor to average.

I recently returned from another trip to Havana and I am happy to report that the p4p scene is alive and kickin' in the usual spots. As always, I rented a three bedroom house in Siboney with a pool, ate nearly all my meals at the house (lobster, shrimp, avocado, rice and beans every meal) , and rented a car from REX and hired my usual 24 hour "chofer" to drive me around (In fact, I make HIM sign the rental contract, so anything that happens is HIS problem, not mine). The house went for the usual 300 CUC / night, the car was about 150 CUC / day including full CDW insurance, and I pay my driver 50 CUC / day.

As has been the case on my previous trips, the highest quality of girls for my taste were found at Salon Rojo and La Cecilia. Most girls at these places start out asking for 100 CUC but all will easily go down to 70 CUC with minimal haggling. Anything below 70 CUC may be possible with SOME of the girls if you really feel the need to beat them down over another lousy 10 CUC (I never feel the need). Average age for the girls in these places is 19-22 and it seemed half the girls were white and from Camaguey. I would definitely say that at least 90% of the girls in Salon Rojo were white which suits my taste just fine. On some week nights in Salon Rojo there are probably 150 girls and as few as 10 or 15 guys; on the bigger weekend nights (especially if it's raining) Salon Rojo will have many more guys so you need to make your pick a little quicker. All four girls I was with out of these places were up for BBBJCIM and BBFS is promised a little more cash to sweeten the deal.

I went into Casa de la Musica Miramar on a Friday night and did not like the place and left after about thirty minutes; there were maybe 20-25 girls of decent quality but it's not a great vibe in there. Also worth noting is that I went to the beach in front of the Tropicoco Hotel in Santa Maria del Mar (Playas del Este) a few afternoons and there were girls there up for a date (you need to send your driver to get phone number / make arrangements, as there are lots of policia around).

Overall, another fun trip with little logistical hassle apart from leaving a day earlier than planned to beat the arrival of the hurricane.

Ok, nice report and to the point. I too will be renting a casa but in Miramar. $300 per night. I'll be having allot of people with me so the price seems better considering that the independence of the casa will reduce unnecessary issues.

You can still get a casa for the night at that hour, have a chica as well, ask your taxi guy. Once I landed in Havana at around 11pm, by the time I made it to my casa, where two European girls answered the door, I ended up going with the taxi driver to four different casas before we found a place, and before I even unpacked my bags the owners were telling me they had no problem with me bringing chicas. I say you just need to go with their bullshit, fight the Cuban way and you just end up with a headache. PM me and I can send you their contact info, it's near the university.

I land at like 1am and will only be there for a night before heading to a Casa.
