They are open for sure. I have been to a few for the past few months for a short time use. I am sure if you look hard enough, you will find some that are willing to take your booking.

Casas particulares can be "open", airlines can accept bookings, but until the country is open why would anyone book anything if you're outside the country.

My understanding, and correct me if you have better information, is that Canadians can go to a few of the resort areas but only to these areas, and can't go off the "island" (or key basically). Workers come in for 2 or 3 week shifts. No trips to Havana, no trips anywhere. US citizens can't go to these resorts as they are all owned or partially owned by the Cuban gov't so not allowed for Americans.

But so far no incoming tourists allowed anywhere else. That's my understanding. So Havana?

I booked an Airbnb for November 13th, but the owner let me know that they have not been told that they can operate yet. Wonder if it will only be hotels for a month or so.

Last Nov I found a pharmacy in old town and was able to buy non generic viagra manufactured in Europe for 1 cuc per 5 MG pill. I bought 50 of them. Its a couple of blocks form the Bodegita del Medio. On an earlier trip I was able to get a similar deal from another pharmacy in old town. Just find one and go in and ask, its no problem.

You must mean 50 MG or 100 MG for 1 pill for 1 CuC?

In Colombia there are like 30-50 brands of sildenafil citrate but Cialis, nogenerics as I know.

I found good brand and had me send a package of Cialis from India to Colombia.

It's definitely on the island, someone came up to are taxi while getting gas, 10 pk of generic Blue pills 9 $. I think he wanted 15 $turns out they were really good, wish I got a few packs! Hope this helps a bit!

Not sure about that. No announcement from the cuban gov yet. To be honest, I doubt it. I have friends living here that left Cuba few months ago still struggling to come back with numerous rejections from the ministry of interior.

I've been hearing lately up to 1. 50, depending how good your blackmarket money changer is. 1. 30 is quite a fair deal. I don't keep CUC at all nowadays except to pay for gas and some loose change. Almost everything is in dollars nowadays. Some places (restaurants, spas etc) are also giving discounts if you pay in usd. Just so you understand the situation more.
