Internet in Havana
I have never been in Cuba and want to have an extended visit or live there. I need Internet to continue teaching on line. Using video like Skype or Whatsapp, am I dreaming that I might be able to do my teaching from Havana. Cost is not really a worry. Any comments are appreciated. Thank you.

Every day a doctor or medical students comes by to see if we feel good. Here this country the best it has is health. Although hospitals do not have the resources they should, well, not everything is perfect. Friend, as soon as I know something I tell you about travel, I tell you. Take care I love you a lot".
Its good to see Cuba is taking covid 19 seriously.
They do the same to my house. Regularly if not every day. Quick question on how many people in the house and whether everyone is healthy. Not too sure about shopping with less people though. There's long q everywhere in havana.

Hear rumors that charters for people going to resorts only might get going. Probably from Canada mostly as that's where most of their tourists going to resorts are from. I expect it would be off the plane, onto the bus, to the resort. No going off the property, and back you go. They are set up to be able to do this pretty easily. And the resorts can be effectively isolated from all but the resort workers. So I can see them starting this back up. But for non-resort type of travel. I doubt it.

Public transport suspended in Cuba
As of Saturday April 11, both urban and rural public transport will be suspended. The licenses of private taxis have also been suspended, forcing them to stay home.

I don't doubt you; I'm just "a word to the wise is sufficient" kind of guy. When something is not working, I change it up and try something different. I had no luck whatsoever getting chicas in Havana and Holguin city. Mayari was a jackpot however.

I always have reservations about business owners advice nowadays. Its business owners in Sosua who are saying please come, everything is good. Meanwhile PN is closing their business. They put on happy faces for the business.
Cuba has a choice coming up: Either accept the tourist dollars with a few mongers thrown in or play hardball and hurt the citizens. No cruise lines, no flights and limitations on money sent from abroad will make Cuba make a decision.

I met a couple of really nice non-pros in the smaller towns in the province of Holguin. The cities were a solid wall of frustration. In the small towns, it was necessary to get in good with the chica's family. $45 for a family pig roast was a good investment. Those campesinas (country girls) were very much sexually available, but wouldn't be if they thought for a minute that they were considered as prostitutes.

My solution to that is to get a separate phone and number just for that purpose. My wife gets ticked off if I do otherwise. One of our "ground rules" is that I keep my dating discreet and outside of the USA. Thanks for the tip regarding IMO. With the new rules against prostitution, it's better to be able to show the authorities a pattern of communication. Having a mistress is legal in Cuba; prostitution is isn't.
What new rules? When did they make them?
