Posts: 1316SmotPoker, in my view: stick to Vedado, take taxis (your time is more valuable), don't line up anyone. Get a list of venues, and ask the owner of the casa to call each venue on arrival to know what is open and what is closed, hours and special events, and then hit them both in the middle of the day (if there events there) and night time. Choose the best most expensive venues and don't waste your time when you see a beauty or she will be gone and someone else will take her home. Have fun, come back and report.

Posts: 20Neghborhood advice For Casa please
Hello,
I haven't been in Havana for like 20 years, been a while, recently divorced and living in S Florida I'm planning a trip as soon as this virus is. Well you know.
I'm a seasoned mid 40 year old gringo with very basic Spanish (practically none) been to DR, Colombian, SE Asian (ex wife is Pinay, bad choice) but anyways thinking of what area is best for me.
Seems like the most popular choice for the hobby is Vedado but thinking that for a 4 night stay, knowing I will want day time action, and will probably take the bus from parque central to playa Estes at least once or twice that Centro or old city might make more sense. Also thinking I may prefer the bars on Neptuno, and being close to the University might be better than Vedado without having to pay for taxis all day. I'll be traveling solo, probably late September / early October so any advice or casa recommendations would be appreciated. Also trying to line up up a few online before arrival (worked great in Colombia) I'm not cheap, but don't want to overpay for chicas and hope to find great GFE. I'll probably anti up and get a subscription here for pm's but any advice from recent visitors would be awesome. Thanks to all who have posted.

I like that Cuba has put the heath of its citizens before business. Cuba has shut down again with minimum cases and public testing and tracing while the dominican Republic is wide open with no public testing and cases exploding.
