I can't help you with FB since I'm not on most social media sites. Remember, in Cuba prostitution is illegal, so take that in consideration vs the other countries you mention. It's not point and shoot either, so you have to put in some work.

I should mention that when I travel to Cuba I go mostly for its music and activities that have nothing to do with getting laid. What I always look for is meeting a civie that I could get an ongoing relationship with. I live in L / A where the mongering life here is quite good, so when I travel I'm not necessarily looking to get laid. I've had thru the years met different civies that have not lasted but that's what interests me, not just getting laid, specially the hard core jineteras ones.

Again in Cuba women in general enjoy flirting and nothing like here in the states where some women get pissed off if you make it too obvious by checking them out.

So, if you've never been to Cuba don't expect what happens in those countries you mentioned. It's a different game there.

Lastly, if you read thru the threads here you should get an overview of what works and what your M. O. should be.

So, as everyone knows nowadays having no phone is akin as being handicapped. No, Habana airport is not like here LAX or prolly any other airport in the US where one can pull up to the curb and pick you up. There they have to park somewhere away from the terminal (guess to keep illegal taxis from picking people up).

Found some hustler trying to "help" me with my bags and he let me use his phone to contact my drive, after that gave him a dollar for his help and was on the way. BTW, suggest to bring a bunch of dollar bills to tip as the circumstance merits..

So, after putting my bags away in my ride's car, went back to the Etecsa office and was told I could not pay for the sim card with USD! I asked and was told I needed to pay with CUP. Since I didn't exchange any USD to CUP I was out of luck getting a card there.

Caveat, you can exchange USD for CUP inside the terminal, problem is you'd only get the official rate, which is 110 to 1 USD instead of the street rate which was 260 to 1.

So, if you're willing to exchange USD to CUP at the airport you can buy the sim then and there either inside the terminal or at the Etecsa office outside, or else wait till you exchange to CUP and get better bang for your bucks. I waited till next day and my apt host loaned me 5000 CUP to buy the sim card and get breakfast and other incidentals.

Etecsa sells packages which include texts, calls and data, forgot how much I paid but I would say it's not going to break your bank. Just make sure you get enough data if you plan to be online, also, in case you need to access websites outside I'd strongly recommend you get a VPN before entering Cuba. I always buy a month's worth of Nord VPN.

Also, my phone is unlocked (android) so if your phone is locked it might not work in Cuba.

As far as street action, around the Inglaterra and parque central area there is plenty of action. Also, like someone mentioned here most private taxis and / or bicycle drivers have contacts for hook up, just ask and have them show you the prospects from their phones, yes, they have photos of the gals.

Obispo street, which is close to the Inglaterra hotel, has a lot of action, gals semis and some pros walking up and down the street. Best bet is to get a seat in one of the cafes close to the street and make eye contact when you see someone you like and go from there.

Cops, as far as I know don't bother Airbanb hosts. They tend to ask the gals. I've seen numerous times where they stop a gal (usually accompanied by a guy) and ask them questions. I guess after a while working the beat, cops prolly know who's "working".

I never bought a SIM card, my casa owner always lends me one for free (and I leave some saldo when I return it as thanks), so I cannot help there.

The advice I CAN offer is how to add credit.

There are a number of foreign sites (I use www.ding.com which is canadian) where you can add CUP to your phone number with your credit card.

And Etesca has regular 'offers' (every three weeks or so), where you get multiple credit for the same amount (the last one was quintuple).

One can only take advantage of these offers through sites like ding.

So if there's an offer while you're there you can buy enough credit cheaply and talk / message / surf as much as you like.

This would be my first time in Cuba. I am planning to stay in an Airbnb in old Havana for a week. Other than some of the clubs mentioned where you can find Jineteras, how frequently can you find pros / semi pros in the streets near hotel Inglaterra or on the road to Malecon? Considering the 'illegal but never enforced situation' are there any cases of cops busting hotels or airbnbs where such activities take place?

Someone mentioned buying SIM at the Havana airport? What cellular service? Cost of it please?

I have my doubts that such a medical service would be available in Cuba.

    Havana in April

Going to be in Havana in April. First time but I am not new to Latin America. Heck I've been to Haiti also and to Africa. So all in all I am not a newbie when it comes to "mongering". But again will be my first time in Cuba and I am aware us Americans have some restrictions like limited ATM use and other things. No big deal for me. Anyways what are some dos and donts? And where are the best place to find Cuban women especially Afro-Cubans (because I especially always been into them). And I know this maybe a stupid question but how do you guys compare Cuban women to Dominicans, Colombians and Brasilians when it comes to looks and personality? How is the mongering scene there? I heard some women accept "gifts. " What are the best clubs to check out? And is Havana really THAT cheap? Sorry for the loaded questions and thanks in advance.

Penetrator. With all respect, Cuba infections are indeed up because of lack of condoms. I looked this up before I went. But it doesn't matter. More importantly, assume any girl that bangs you for money has done it before. Even the good ones. Come on, don't we come off as nice guys who haven't done this 100 times before when we meet girls? Do I tell them they're my third girl in 3 days? I do not. The girls don't either. But moreover they're getting banged by the exact guys who try to go bareback whenever they can. You're not the first. Think a girl is going to tell you she was on antibiotics 2 weeks ago? Or that her flare up just subsided and she's kinda sure but not really that she's not contagious? Please. You're there on the island for like 3 minutes and she knows that as well as you do. If you do this hobby long enough, and it's not long, you're 100 percent going to bang girls with awful things. Part of the hobby is just realizing a condom let's you do this for much longer without coming into contact with those things.

Why can't I go to USA after Cuba?

In October 2022, the US Government started enforcing the restriction on people who have travelled to Cuba since 12th January 2021. These travellers are no longer eligible to apply for the ESTA Visa Waiver programme, and need to apply for a US visitor's visa (B1/ B2) via their nearest US Embassy. Sep 8, 2023.

My comment on the 6 month ban was the need to get a visa, which as you correctly mentioned, takes close to a 2 years wait. So, I should have used visa requirement, instead of ban.

Otherwise the rest is true, and and I almost fell foul of this. Thankfully, I had to cancel my trip, or I would have faced the same issue leaving Cuba. For anyone who visits the US on an ESTA, rather than a visa, visiting a country which is on the US list of state sponsored terrorism countries (including Cuba) disqualifies you from the ESTA scheme permanently. Therefore you have to then apply for a visa whenever you want to visit the US. In my country, the current wait time for an interview for a visa is over 2 years!

I'm currently seriously contemplating a trip in a few months to Cuba, having gotten sick of denying myself the pleasure of visiting an interesting country for fear of not being able to visit the US (which I've found less and less appealing as the years go by, but it does prove useful for transit to other countries sometimes). I'm hopefully soon to have a Canadian passport, which will also solve the problem.

Evidently he had the necessary docs or whatever a UK visitor needs to visit the US, otherwise he wouldn't have been allowed into US territory in the 1st place, where that's an ESTA (yes it's ESTA, not ETIAS) visa on the way back to the US. Like I mentioned on my original post, when one visits Cuba then this triggers an automatic 6 months ban on you to enter the US in case you are not aware of it.

Again, main goal being to put a hurt on the tourism dollars Cuba gets.

    I see what you mean

That makes much more sense. There are a few places that are explicit about visitors not being able to access the rooms so the distinction is clear. I may book two different places, one for sleeping and one for play. Much appreciated.
