To expand on my previous inchoate post. I just got back to my airbnb after a little stroll and dinner (lomo de cerdo, arroz moro, fried plantains, salad, 2 x capirinas = 1600 = $8. 60). My Pakistani friend went there a few weeks ago from London. Cuba is super safes. So don't have to worry about the discrimination. Some will probably start speaking spanish to you.

I Didn't bring them back, to the AirBnB, I just told them where it was and to come by. I waited in a small food shop next door, enjoying a beer just in case they didn't match the pictures, or were hiding something. The first girl got $100, the rest got $40-$50. They all stayed for at least 2 hours, some much longer. I guess they didn't have anything else to do and the Gringo had snacks and candy. I chose all lighter skin girls, didn't see any asians, about half the girls who messaged me were dark skinned.

I got 50+ matches in the 18-29 range off Badoo prior to arrival (nothing much on Latinamerican Cupid or Twitter). And my profile is completely true: my real age, my real horrible old man photo. The first night I was here, a super pretty 18 year old came over to the AirBnB in Vedado. I am an not a real dick and was not able to get rid of her until today. Three days in Vedado and old Havana, mostly shopping (for shoes, shampoo, earbuds, a horribly low class purse that looks like a basketball). Then a $20 ride in a 1954 Olds to Guanabo for four days at the beach. This girl was really cute, but a heavy smoker (she had lied about) and an annoying, high pitched voice. Whew! She cost way, way more than just regular old pay for play.

Yeah, as far as the economy in Cuba is concerned, it's a f!cking mess. Last week was especially bad because of the fuel shortage (kind of a complicated geopolitical set of reasons for it, worse than just the easy "socialism") -- there just wasn't any. For the first time since the Revolution they cancelled (or maybe just postponed) the May Day parade due to the lack of fuel. However, now they have some. Basically, this is the economy of scarcity. So it's a problem to get gas for a car (gas for a stove), a chip for your phone, shampoo, soap, sugar -- food. I had plans to travel more in the country, but I simply gave up on it. However, when I was in Guanabo I was getting 185 CUP for the $; hence, when you can get something, it is cheap. I probably am not coming back soon because it is not easy here especially for Gringos (credit cards don't work, have to use a VPN to book an AirBnB, etc), but it is full of young, beautiful, willing chicks who are desperate for some money. The hosts at the Airbnb's will help you out, even if you're there with a girl 1/4th your age. Really helps to speak Spanish. (I am a Spanish speaker, but I have terrible problems understanding the Habana accent.).

My advice: if you hook up with the right girl, you should just enjoy the ride. My regret for this trip is that I wasn't able to cut the first girl loose when she took me shopping.

So you consider yourself a real dick if you send a Chica on her way after you've done the business. I wouldn't call it being a dick, I would call it being weak and naive. But it seems that you paid for it in a big way. Hope you learned a lesson and will stand up for yourself next time.

Any hotspots you recommend that are popular for mongering? Better to stay in old Havana or Vedado?

I love Old Havana, but if you want comfort the Iberia Star is great. Not sure about the guest situation though. The best way to meet girls is walking around the tourist areas, or really anyway, and just find one you like and ask for her number.

Really sad situation in Havana.

I was there back in 2015 and 2017 and had an amazing time.

I just returned from most recent trip yesterday after spending a quick Fri-Sun weekend.

I won't get into the political aspect of the trip, but there was no gas, many restaurants closed, no cruise ships, very limited party scene, difficulty with internet access and with forex, no food in the grocery stores, very difficult to even get a coffee on the street corner!

I would personally not go back to Cuba again. Until some sort of progress is made to roll back to the prosperity and flourishing culture I witnessed back in '15-'17.

As for chicas, it was so depressing, the girls are either unattractive, semi-homeless and in all cases very desperate. Many trannys and gays. All the hottest chicas left the country and live in Miami, Dallas and New York.

There are the typical clubs listed on here where you can pick up spicy babes, LM, Miyo why Tuo, etc. Those places are legit, you can pick up there pretty easily.

The pretty ones at these high class joints are expensive, expect to pay at least $50-100 for an hour, everything extra. The entire country has a sharp inflation problem.

The girls aren't professionals like when you travel to other countries, they are desperate and only fucking you to survive and feed their kids. It is not fun or enjoyable for them!

My buddy picked up a street walker for $30. It was sad.

Another friend was quoted $100 from a sexy silicone titty dancer walking home from the club.

Most hotels won't let you bring back girls. Tho these days everybody is so desperate for cash, you can probably bribe your way into any hotel.

AirBnbs seem to be chill as long as you sneak them in late at night and don't make too much noise or disturb the neighborhood and cause a scene.

There are short term bang hotels for 1-2 hours that cost $1 or less, but its all in Spanish and unless your chica knows where it is, you definitely won't find it, even if you do, as a gringo the price will go up, your chica will have a better chance at getting a decent rate. And they are gross, old matresses, many don't have water or electricity, leaky roofs and could collapse at any moment.

If you go expecting a thriving working girl culture you will be very disappointed. It's nothing like Cartagena and there are no working girl hotels like Costa Rica or most other South / Central American places.

It was an outdoor corner restaurant about two blocks in from Malecon. There was nothing special about the place, I only stopped there because they had cold beer and the food looked ok. The girls were just hanging out, not working.

The first girl got $100 and the promise of more IF she passed around my number. The rest got $40-$50 (and a few hundred worthless pesos for cab fare). After the first one, I would keep 2 or 3 200 peso bills in a separate pocket, when they asked for fare, I would just pull it out, all rolled up, act like it was all I had on me, and just hand it to them without counting it, they never complained.

I never looked for street action, just picked one each afternoon from the messages, negotiated, and told her where to go. (Doordash for girls? LOL) Every time I went out, it was just to see the city. AirBnB has tours you can book called "experiences".

Something else I should mention, they all wanted to keep coming back to see me again. I wanted variety, so I kept telling them I would see them again before I left. Then I told them I was staying until the next Friday, and left on Monday. That way they thought they had more time, and weren't desperate enough to bother me non stop or show up uninvited until after I was gone. When they messaged, I apologized and said I had to leave early, unexpectedly. I'm a dick, I know.
