Medical insurance has always been a requirement for Canadians going to Cuba, I would be surprised if it was different for Americans.

Some of the airlines from USA include the insurance in the price of the airfare.

Uncle Volodya. Maybe checks the US airlines websites (like American Airlines, Jet Blue, United). I know for the US Citizens, they may buy the Cuba visa at the gate of the departing airport (like Miami, Ft. Lauderdale). But imma not sure if its applies to non-US citizens.

For example, I found this on Jet Blue websites.

A Cuban tourist visa, which is sufficient for only certain categories of OFAC-permitted travel, can be purchased from JetBlue at a "gateway airport" (the final airport before departing the USA) for $50 per person. Customers will need their passports, boarding passes and a major credit card to buy the Cuban tourist visa. USA Citizens and citizens from third countries traveling to Cuba from a USA Gateway airport who qualify for a Cuban tourist visa must have the pink tourist visa issued in the United States (that visa can be purchased from JetBlue). Green tourist visas issued in third countries are not valid to enter Cuba from a USA Gateway..

I was charged $100 at the gate last week. There was no vetting or scrutiny involved, Felt like buying a ticket to Disney Land.

Sorry if I am being overprotective. I just don't want hassle. But also don't want to lose my intimate photos!.

Is it likely? No. Is it possible, Absolutely. I watched them do secondary searches on maybe one In ten. Almost all were nothing more than a quick passport scan. But least two were asked to follow them to another location. Of course I have no idea what happened next. My advice, get a cheap used phone. Install only what you need. Don't give them access to more personal information than necessary. After your thru, get a SIM, install a vpn, and la navi. It's like uber for. Havana. Eliminates the language barrier for getting around.

Have fun, it's an awesome city. Just realize, whatever you give someone, they will ALWAYS ask for more. Learn to say no mas.

Like I said before, Havana is popping, the people are living life the best they can, it's still VERY SAFE down there, no worries of stupid, mass shootings, drive bys, unwanted murders, etc like the USA. Don't listen to this dude's weak ass nonsense. I have been down there MANY times and am ALWAYS welcomed with open arms!

As far as BBFS, they females do offer that, but I personally do not engage, but the dudes that rolled with me was getting it like that, so they said.

We have a money exchange dude, that comes to the casa, and gives us the best rate available for exchange at the time.

Once again, go down to Havana, don't listen to the GARBAGE this dude preaches, and have a GREAT TIME! We will be back in May, for another EXCELLENT, SAFE, SEXUAL, and NONSTOP FUN time!

Folks I have been all over Cuba. Some casas do not register girls if the owner is cool with you. Also girls who f $ck different guys in different casas obviously won't sign the book because then the lawman will come for them. If a girl does register her name then that means she's a good girl and probably didn't f#ck too many guys. BTW I'm heading to Holguin March 24 to 29. ViVa Cuba!

San Rafael and Parque Central are still going strong. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. I was able to pick chicas at will. So many to choose from. As for me I prefer the chicas that don't speak English and that are less aggressive. The chicas in this area services seem to be more pricey than other other areas in Havana. I also found out that paying in CUP saves money even though some chicas are asking for dollars or euros. One night I picked up a chica from that crowded pizza place one San Rafael. She was cool. It was kind of hectic in that place and the pizza was, well you know, it's Cuba. LOL. There were no power outages or bottled water shortages. I ate at the Prado restaurant near Paseo del Prado and it was ok. Then sat at the bar and chatted up the bartender David. Prices are pretty good there. I want to get a card so I can shop at the Cadenas de Tiendas stores. I had a Cuban friend get some things there for me but I need my own card. I want to explore Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Camaguey, Holguin and some other smaller non touristic parts of Cuba. Sometimes Havana can give you burnout.
