Are people hanging out on the Malecon these days? If enough locals show up, the girls will also show up and blend in. Last two visits -- last year -- the Malecon had very few people on it and long stretches of no one. If you are in Havana or been recently, please let me know if the "party" is back on the Malecon.

A second option is in the streets around the Hotel Nacional. Anyone had luck finding a girl in the shadows?

I'm overdue for a trip to Havana. Been a few times. Blew my mind the first time.

The third time kinda sucked. It was just pre-COVID. Frankly it was just hard to find girls. I posted up on the malecon and nothing happened. It was kinda boring. I remember that first time it was shooting fish in a barrel.

Is Havana back or still hard to play? I mean it's a great city but not worth it if you have to work harder, and so many other places that you can go.

I am non-Caucasian and not a looker and no experience in game LOL, how much of game do we need to have after making eye contact with a girl? I am no expert in Spanish but can manage. After dark, walk down Blvd San Rafael by Hotel Inglaterra. See a pretty girl sitting on a bench, look at her and say, "Nina?" or "Mary?" -- go from there.

Let me explain. I'm married. On other apps I cover part of my face and do pic swap once I'm chatting with someone. Badoo won't let you obscure part of your face. It also won't allow an AI generated face. That makes it hard.

Ah, that makes sense. This does complicate things LOL. I think Badoo has a feature to hide your profile and show it to only members you match with. But that's with premium membership. May be try playing with that? Also Badoo isn't a popular site in the West. Most haven't even heard of it so chances of others seeing our profiles are slim. But yeah better to be safe I guess.

When I stayed in Vedado, I spent a few hours on two evenings in April at the foot of 23 on the Malecon. I didn't see any obvious working girls or any single women trolling for anything there.

Staying in the older part of town (near Parque Central / Hotel Kempinski) I was approached by numerous older floozies east of Bar Floridita. On the other side of Marti on Blvd San Rafael (a walking street), many, many pretty young women strolling or sitting on benches. They were available, but not actively soliciting.

Agreed, you have to look a little closely to see who's up for it, but a lot are. When I was last there I had a lot of success at the square at the top of 23. The police wagon was parked at the TIkoa part of the road, and no single girl would dare loiter round there.

Street action was minimal in 2018 - the police had trucks parked on La Rampa all night rounding up solo girls.

But the girls were still willing if I struck up a conversation with the right ones.

Daytime in Old Havana there were options for someone who kept their eyes open.

You all put your real photos up there??

I personally just use photos of Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime on all my dating apps. Never had any complaints.

I think I had good luck with Badoo. I simply posted more or less accurate pictures of my ugly, aged, wrinkled face (while I suppose I was handsome in my youth, I'm in my late 70's now and there is nothing attractive about it.) Along with a brief description of my itinerary and my desire for companionship and fun. If a girl liked me, I would respond (in Spanish) with some nonsense like "you are goddess come down to Earth from Heaven! If they responded back, I would write something like, "I'm looking for fun, I'll be there Tuesday. I have money $$ My whatsapp is +1 123-456-7890. Call me!" Some women responded, "I am not a jinetera!" But maybe 8-10 women called. Of them, I hooked up with two. One 18, one 19. Both super pretty and fun.

I used the free version of Badoo.
