I stayed at the Hotel Nacional because it was part of a tour from the US. As a result, I didn't need a gateway or third country to fly there. We had an approved license from the US Treasury Dept and flew directly from Miami.

I might consider a casa next time and yes, Cuba really is set up for ST.

Most Cubanas will negotiate especially now with tourism down.They are very skilled at spotting newbies and fools then proceeding to take them to the cleaners for every last $$.

The man must show confidence and be in controll - its a latin thing.

This was my third trip to Cuba and third trip to Cojimar. I have had mixed success in Cuba, but felt this time all the ducks were in a row. I travelled with a buddy and his last trip had him stay at a great Casa. Cojimar is a town of approx. 20,000. It is 10 km to a great beach area, (away from Havana) and only 5 km out of Havana. With a friend acting as driver we had transport to and from the beach, Havana central and the airport for approx. 100 cuc for the week.

There are about 70 -80 homes with rooms for rent in this town. Several of the homes are a daily stop for girls that dress very well and visit after breakfast and before noon. My host would say the only two words of English he needed to say, "You like?".

A positive response meant the girls would stop coming. A negative meant they kept coming until I agreed to a girl. Then I would pile into the Taxi and head to the beach.

My hostess was a great cook and a 6:00pm dinner awaited after a day on the sand and in the water. By 9:00pm the gal would visit and we would drink rum, watch a movie and retire to my room for the night.

Sex was passionate and vigorous. AT 6:00am my host would tap on the bedroom door, my girl would get up and leave with a kiss on the cheek.

If I wanted her to return that night I would indicate to my host.

I experienced 5 different girls in 7 days.

This routine was excellent, but don't think a first time visitor will dovetail into this. Some houses don't encourage girls and are upset when a gal visits.

The nice thing about Cojimar is the fact it is a sleepy little suburb. Not a lot of cops, so the gals tend to be a little more relaxed. They still are worried about being seen with you on the street as this is a big problem with officials, but once in the comfort of your adopted home, the tension melts away and you have an evening with a passionate, beautiful girl. Average price was 60 cuc for the evening.

I look forward to returning.

It's great to see a bunch of reports on the situation in Havana.

It's been five years since my last trip, but it sounds like nothing has changed. Law Enforcement at every corner. Playing the cat-and-mouse game with them. Casa owners paranoid about visitors.

All of the wrong things, but I'm willing to chance if for the right things, which are the beautiful Cuban ladies.

I may be there in a month or so, on business. Failing that, I'll be in Havana on my frequent flyer miles, within the next few months.

Always appreciate advice. Paricularly if I'm going and looking for a casa. I've been there, before but would appreciate advice (via PM, of course), on what the better and more loterant casas could be.

This time I made it to La Ceciela's and it was open. It is a large, outdoor, open-air club and was packed. The ratio was a little more even, but there were still more women overall than guys. I ran into Deanna from Salon Roja and the threesome, aka Little Sis, and we got to talking. Two beers and one Red Bull later we left together and had another night of fun. Deanna is a spinner and did exactly that. Picked her up and bounced her like a pogo stick while looking straight into her eyes. We both laughed hesterically. All for 80 cuc, but with "two leches" not just one. I was too tired to complete the second and stopped halfway through. I paid her anyway.

The next night it was back to Casa de Musica. I met up with a blond elementary school teacher who took me back to a really nice apartment/house that we had to ourselves. She played some music from her cell phone and did a very sexy striptease for a good ten minutes. Something about that put her in a really hot mood because we started going at it and she came twice before I did. She wanted to go again, but it was 4 am and I was spent for the week. Called a cab, said goodbye, and promised to see her tomorrow.

The next night I decided to try something different. I went to La Ceciela on a Wednesday night, only to find it closed. My cab driver felt bad and took me instead to Casa de Musica. BTW - there are two Casa de Musica's. This was the one in Vedado, not Old Havana. This place had a cover of 10 cuc and a big, nine-member band that was awesome. They played salsa music and everyone was dancing. Of couse I was approached by many, many honeys (about 2 to1 girls to guys), and I told them I wanted to relax before deciding.

About an hour into the night I met a tall, African-Cuban. She made her pitch and I initially declined. I engaged her in conversation and found out she was a dance teacher. I offered her 10 cuc to give me a lesson, which she did! We found a section of the dance floor and she showed me some steps. Once I got the hand of it, we danced for a good 45 minutes. Afterward, I thanked her and we went our separate ways. A half-hour later we bumped into each other and talked again for a long time (45 minutes). This time I took her up on her offer and off we went. She was amazing!! I'm 6'1" and she must have been 5'11" with incredibly long legs. She told me to relax, had me lie on my back, hopped on top and rode me like a bronco in rodeo!! She kept eye-contact with me the whole time and smiled as I got closer and closer to exploding. Afterward a ten minute rest, we did it again with no additional negotiations. I gave her a generous tip (110 cuc total) and it was worth every bit. We went back to the club later and she introduced me to her friends. I told them there was no way I could go again, but that I would be back tomorrow night.

The next night I didn't go to Casa de Musica, but went back to Salon Roja. I hung out and saw something amusing. A couple of Italian guys took a couple of girls into the stalls in the restroom and banged them doggie-style. The door flew open on one and there we a chick I had been speaking to earlier in the night getting it from a young (24 y.o.) Italian guy. I was surprised and went to use the stall next to them when his buddy and a cuban chick come out with her fixing her dress and looking embarrassed. For a proper propina (tip) to the restroom attendant you can get a quickie.

As a long standing member of the forum, I wanted to add some of my recent experiences in Havana. Spent a week there in December and went out every night but one. I stayed at the Hotel Nacional, which is an okay hotel by US standards. Like everything in Cuba, it is a hustle and the Hotel Nacional was no different. There was an extra charge on my bill upon check out, but they removed the charges without batting an eye. It was almost as if it was expected. (The charges were phone related). Also, when you change money downstairs, they count the money below the counter where you can't see, and tell you one of the bills is counterfeit. I don't know if that is a scam of theirs and they make a switch, but they tried it on me and someone else in my group. I used the bill elsewhere, so I didn't lose out. Just a warning should you be there.

First and second night there I went to Salon Roja, which is literally a stone's throw from the entrance to the hotel. It is 1/2 a block and can be see when you exit the hotel. Salon Roja is a club with live music and bands which can vary. One night was Salsa, another a type of country music, and a fusion band on a third night. The cover is 10 CUC, or about $13.00 USD. Once I stepped inside I was immediately surrounded by 5-6 women asking me if I wanted company, in both spanish and english. There were dozens and dozens of women (3-4 for every guy) and they were non-stop trying to get you to talk or buy them a Red Bull. My first night there I met a Jessica Simpson look alike in a very tight mini-dress. We danced for an hour first while she grinded her ass into me and I would periodically pull down her dress which would ride up and expose her thong. We struck a deal of 80 CUC (a bit much I agree, but Jessica Simpson!!) and we were off to a local house.

We exited the club separately as the police are stationed at the exit. In Hanvana, the police will stop any women who is leaving a club with a foreign man and ask her why she is with him. I witnessed them questioning one woman, and while my spanish is not that good (I'm not fluent, but can speak some), the questioning was direct and to the point. The avoid this, the girls will get in the cab of someone they know and you follow is a second one. A block or two later, you pull over and get into the first cab and off you go. My Jessica Simpson look-alike and I went to the home of an old Cuban woman between 70-80 y.o. She got out of bed, introduced herself, and left us to our own devices. We spent a good hour in there with no rushing and alot of time afterward to talk. "Jessica" was great and I repeated with her later that week.

The next night I met a young 20 y.o. named Deanna. I didn't know it at the time, but she was working the club with her sister Ana, who is 22 y.o. They looked like identical twins with the only difference being that Ana is several inches taller. I didn't know they were there together and kept confusing their names. Not only did they look alike, but they had on very similar black cocktail like dresses. Finally I saw them together and they each tried to get me to go with them individually. I said I wanted them together and they said okay for 100 cuc each. Having overpaid the night before, I took a pass and cruised around the night club. At around 3 am I saw them from across the club looking at me and leaning into one another discussing a strategy to approach me. Sure enough, they came over a few minutes later and offered me 80 cuc each. I countered with 60 cuc each and I get "dos leches" total, one with Ana and one with Deanna. They agreed and off we went to another house. First we stopped off at the hotel across the street where I went up to my room to get a couple of thongs I bought at Marshall's Dept Store for $4.00 each. I told them they could each have one if they were good. They did their best, but it was awkward for them because they were sisters. They did not interact with each other, but after the inital double bj it was Deanna while big sister watched. After a ten minute rest with their heads on my chest, it was now Ana's turn. Little sis (Deanna) took my head in her hands and gave me a DFK while I was furiously plowing her sister. Definitely a different sensation to kiss one woman while banging another. After 15 minutes I finished and then it became business-like for them. They automatically started to get dressed and helped me do the same. We all got back into the cab that brought us and they dropped me at my hotel. Big sis gave me her phone number and said with a smile "Let's get together tomorrow. Call me"

Inside the hotel, I collapsed on my bed and slept until noon time. What a night!!

Me & my friends made a last min trip to Havana again on Feb 1. Although we had some good time, I had to admit the place is changing so quickly. I'm afraid that I may not go to Havana again but maybe other citieis. The reason is provide below but lets go for the good stuff first.

We flew to Varadero and took Viazul bus from there to Havana. We only paid 10 CUC each and then took another small viazul bus for 3 CUC each to our destianation. It seemed like the small viazul bus was out of service and they charged small amout and dropped us at our destination on the way to the garage / their home. Don't worry, as soon as you get off the bus, they will ask you or if you tell the bus driver, he will call them over. Not sure if they will be there all the time, otherwise you can negotiate a taxi and go to your destination. If the Viazul from Varadero has enough, they might drop you near your destination (if you give small change to driver). Our driver agreed but unfortunately the bus was already running late.

The highlight of our trip was a pig roast party arranged by one of the local friend. We went outside of Havana and booked a pig roast party in a farm house with swimming pool and some unsual animals in captive (like a zoo). Well, we had so much fun and we arranged it for a 2nd day too. The cost of the party was 140 CUC (including food, music & place) but alcohol / drinks was on us. We took 4 girls with us and there were about 15 or 20 girls came from local place. It was a party of life time. We whined with all the girls & had hell lot of a fun.

Our casa owner told us there are more inspection now a days than last year. Last time when we were there. Everything was relax but this time the casa owner was so afraid as he already had some inspection.

Girls. The girls are demanding more money now. Last year when we were there we never paid more than 30 CUC for short term and 50 CUC for long term. Now they are asking 50.60 CUC for short term or they are refusing to come. After some negotiation we paid 40 CUC for short term & 50 CUC for long term. Some of you think, we are crazy to pay that much. Otherwise our trip would have ended without any girls. Lots of girls were asking more than that but since we had to stick to our budget we only got the girls who agreed for that money. I guess the Havana market has been spoiled now. It's time to start looking some where else. Maybe other cities or othe countries.

FYI. Currently I don't have PM service. As I don't need it for now, I didn't activate it yet. I may activate is closer to my next trip.

I have been invited to Cuba to film a short film project.

We have approval and permits from the arts council.

It has been hard to arrange some things from abroad.

I would like to find a very good costumer, someone that can make fabulous carnival style costumes. Any info would be appreciated.

The arts council has been helpful but has not produced.

On another note, I would love to hook up with a little spinner with awesome moves and bod. Last time I was there I saw a couple of beauty's that were mix of Russian blonde and negro and latin. An awesome mix.
