    Go early

The tests are provided between 8 am and 11 am.

My advice would be to go to the clinic around 7 am to avoid the huge lineup.

Took mine last Saturday, and had my result at 2 pm on Sunday.

Having spent a month in Cuba without seeing barely any tourists, also knowing that it's the second most vaccinated country in the world (after the UAE), and 99% of Cubans wearing masks, inside and outside, I would have been pretty unlucky to test positive. LOL.

    Can't wait to go back.

Here are links to more profiles of Cuban women. I have tried to choose those which in my opinion look more "real" however I cannot personally vouch for anyone. I am hoping that hard working members will soon make the sacrifice and do the needed research, up close and personal. I am also wondering if Facebook is the best method to find women today in Cuba or are there other better ways of doing it. I just keep sending as many friend request as facebook will allow. I am now over a thousand female Cuban facebook friends and for the past couple of weeks I have about ten more each day sending me friend requests. I have a feeling that Cuban girls are now using this actively as a way to market themselves; sort of a covert Cuban backpage or Craig's list.

Hey what's up man! We will be there in early March. Me and probably 3 other dudes. I don't think you met any of them, but of course we will be looking for and having a great time! You know how we do!

    Based on this Facebook photo.

It would seem that some nice ladies are happy to welcome foreign tourists to Havana, in traditional Cuban style.

I hope that we will soon be hearing more detailed personal experiences.

Really? I looked posts from the last 2 months and did not find any helpful info. Don't try to be smart ass. If you can't answer, just be quiet. If you can help a brother. , just help with a normal answer.

Please let me know if anybody had a recent experience or knowledge of taking covid test in Havana for flight back home. I have my tickets booked on southwest from Tampa to Havana on Feb. 4th but currently concerned about availability of test for flight back to USA on Feb. 13th.

    Just FYI

I believe that many people have some confusion about the law in Cuba regarding sex. These are the relevant citations from the Cuban penal code, translation courtesy of Google Translate.

    The Cuban Penal Code:

    https://www.wipo.int/edocs/lexdocs/l...cu/cu004es.pdf

Article 299.1. He who commits acts of active pedophilia using violence or intimidation, or taking advantage of the fact that the victim is deprived of reason or felt or unable to resist, is sanctioned with deprivation of liberty of seven to fifteen years.

    2. (Modified) The sanction is deprivation of liberty for fifteen to thirty years or death:

    A) if the victim is a minor under 14 years of age, even when they do not attend the made the circumstances provided in paragraph 1.

    B) if as a consequence of the fact, serious injuries or illness result;.

    C) if the act is carried out by a person who has previously been sanctioned for the same crime.

Article 303. (Modified) It is sanctioned with deprivation of liberty of three months to a year or a fine of one hundred to three hundred installments to which:

    C) produce or circulate publications, prints, tapes cinematographic or recording, recordings, photographs or other objects that are obscene, tending to pervert or degrade customs.

Article 305. The one that has sexual relation with a single woman older than 12 years and under 16, using abuse of authority or deception, incurs a sanction of deprivation of liberty from three months to one year.

Article 310.1. (Modified) The one that uses a person under 16 years of age, of either sex, in prostitution or in practice of acts of corruption, pornographic, heterosexual or homosexual, or others of the dishonest conduct of those provided for in this Code, incurs a sanction of deprivation of liberty from seven to fifteen years.

In fact the Cuban Americans who are bringing stuff to their family members wrap their luggage with cellophane so they will know if the Cuban authorities have gone through it. I would be careful here, you want to fly under the radar in Cuba. I would also add that I heard the reason tickets are so expensive now is that the few airlines who are flying there know that the Cuban Americans really want to bring stuff to their family who need it badly now after covid.
I've been chatting with a casa owner in Havana who tells me that there are people with dollars and euros who would purchase for example a laptop, however it might take time to find a buyer. So, I don't know. Maybe I'll bring a few cellphones and see if that finances part of my trip. Obviously I am arriving wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt so that should solve the political problems LOL.

I've been telling girls on facebook that I am posting their facebook links on this website and now girls are sending me friend requests. How many are real and how many are phone recharge scammers, I am hoping that someone here will soon check that out. One girl told me on facebook messenger that her profile photos are fake because she does not someone to steal her real photos and then she sent me a "real" photo. Who knows. Seeing is believing.

About airline prices, it just seems crazy. I am attaching screenshots from Skyscanner. I can fly more cheaply to Havana from Tel Aviv than you can fly to Havana from Miami. I don't get it.
