It used to be joint where there was POF or action going on. Not really a classy joint but nevertheless it provided action that most here would check out.

Hopefully it will return to the way it used to be.

Hey,

I was browsing thru different places in La Habana and came across a Facebook page for Pico Blanco at the St. John's hotel.

By browsing thru the postings I noticed the there is a gap from 2/14/18 to June of 2018, no postings in this period. Then after June, new postings appear relating to the hotel and some seemed like inside the club itself.

I should mention, like someone did before, I too on my last trip at the end of February beginning of March, stopped by the joint and talked to one employee in the lobby (doorman?) and he informed me the place was bough by Italians investors and didn't have a plan to reopen the club upstairs.

Fast forward to now and it seems like the club is open again!

Anyway, thought I post about this and hope someone will confirm soon either way.

I had a long chat with the doorman at St John's about this when I was there in May and it was still closed.

He told me that the new ownership of the hotel, Italians, had decided to turn the space into a conference area because it had been attracting too much heat from the authorities. He blamed all of the attention the place was getting on the internet (maybe even here)?

I heard something similar and was in fact there. In Havana. When a conference or event of some sort occurred.

But now it is open again everybody says. I won't be back for a few months, so I am trying to keep up with the scene.

Any info for a guy who already knows the city pretty well would be invited.

El Miyo y El Tuyo has been going strong for at least 2-3 years. I'd guess too much money went into the place and too many connected people have a piece of the action for that place to be closing anytime soon. It's also way out in Miramar. Like 110th Street far.. Way too far for your Centro girls, much less Habana Vieja to get out there. Which means it's full of light skinned girls charging high prices. https://www.instagram.com/explore/lo...taurant/?hl=en.

I went there a couple of times in May and there were always FLs available there, unfortunately not always up to my taste. It seems girls circulate between there and Fantaxy (which is just too packed and not too many good looking girls for me to bother. M&T is much less crowded and more laid back a place.

I took a very good looking girl light skinned mulatta from there that I had met earlier in the evening outside Fantaxy. 100 CUC. But she was way too pushy and too pro for my tastes. I prefer the younger student types you can meet on La Rampa or the Malecon.

Another club to check out is Don Cangrejo. Very popular. But a mixed crowd and I don;t think all the girls there are ready to go. It was good last November but only so so on May.

I just came back from my second trip to Cuba, and wow, it's changed so much from 3 years ago. This time, there were no girls to pick up on the Malecon. They told me it's because the heavy police presence drove them away.

Salon Rojo was dead. The girls available on La Rampa were ugly and fewer in number.

So there are a lot more girls you can pick up at the clubs. But the scene changes often I'm told.

So these are the active clubs you can pick up girls as of August 2018, and it may already be outdated by October.

Just reading your message I can understand why all the negativity. Come on man, getting a hustler to find me prostitutes, really!? I know Cubanas are hot and beautiful but IMHO, the hustle is not worthy. There are plenty of countries with better infrastructure where a monger can get women a lot easier, and where you can even date regular and hot women. The Dominican Republic is close by and in my opinion, Dominicanas are better than Cubanas. Or maybe I've been lucky.

Yes you have been very lucky in the Dominican Republic. I live in the DR 6 months out of the year and the other half in Florida and Cuba. IMO I don't even think that the Dominicanas are number 1 in their own country, the Haitians in the DR are way better. The Haitians are more trustworthy, sweet and serve the sex up better than the local girls IMO. My main girl is Dominican and my two side girls are Haitian and Dominican / Haitian and my main girl takes me through ten times more bullshit than my two side girls.

I agree that the infrastructure in the DR is much better for our sport. With that said a newbie who doesn't speak Spanish and is in Cuba would fare better being in Havana and using the local hustlers to tap into the local market and then having those connections to save time on future trips or until needed. Going to another Cuba city without Spanish and looking like a foreigner would probably make hunting more difficult. I have been to several Cuba cities and Santiago is the only one that has girls that will come at you. The others take time and skill (Spanish) to be successful. You said the other countries are better for dating women and I concur, but you have to put in time and be a boyfriend, most guys here don't have that time (on vacation not retired like us).

You have been around for a long time and we agree on most things like I also like to branch out and socialize while putting in time being a boyfriend but with Cuba the logistics and the Cuban politics can prevent us from having an easy task.

In closing you were surprised by the guy pimping his own daughter but in the DR I know over your many years there you have met Uncles passing you their nieces, brothers passing you their sisters and fathers passing you their daughters? Maybe not as pimps but believe me they are somewhere in the background lurking for a cut. I've been in this sport for ten years and had many relationships in several Latin countries and I have yet to find a Latin girl who is not needy and slick. Maybe its some good wholesome girls somewhere but my experience is even those good girls get pressure from the family to get money from the rich gringo and they eventually comply. Its family first even if the family is fucked up.

If I were to go to Cuba to monger, I would get out of La Habana, any other city would do, except Varadero. Find your own women, talk to them like you would talk to a woman in your country. Just socialize and see where it takes you. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Yes walking the malecon you see nothing. La rampa also limited.

To get good girls just flag down one of the hustlers in old town. I had a guy walk me and my friend to several houses, show us several women until we each decided on one's we liked. $60 cuc. The one I fucked ended up being the 19 year old daughter of said hustler. The next day a guy had us sit in his living room, brought several girls, eventually we liked ones, fucked them right there in his house.
