Posts: 1749These "changes" have been going on for years now. The "crackdowns" started around 2000. The natives fleeing Cuba started 60+ years ago. But, I was just in Havana the last 10 days of November and IMO it was as good as I've seen it since the 90's. My time in Havana was followed by a week in Medellin and IMO the quality I ran into in Havana was easily superior (and that says a lot). Beautiful tall, thin, shapely Mulattas. Not a one with silicone tits or ass.
Yeah if you're searching on la Rampa, many of the chicas will be petrified of the police. However, go a few blocks away, and they will be much more friendly. Get a casa particular in Centro Habana and you'll have no trouble with chicas talking to you.
Admittedly, Cuba is not for the point-and-click monger. Those folks will be better off in Colombia, the DR, etc. However, IMO, Cuba still is a worthwhile monger/travel destination.

The issue is less Ecuador than Nicaragua. Nicaragua closed its borderd for Cubans and even revoked issued visas without refunding the tickets many already bought. Many Cubans are camping in front of the embassy in Havana and they say hundreds are waiting in Costa Rica at the border of Nicaragua to enter the country on their way north. The issue is that the South American countries worry that the Cubans will lose the current right to stay in the US under the Cuban Adjustment Act soon because of the mew relationship between the US & Cuba.
Sad but true, if the way through South America is blocked there will be more balseros (fugitives on rafts).

On the bright side there were many chicas walking the streets especially in the Old Town and near the Havana Libre. Good time to meet them was from 4-6 pm but anytime was good.

I emailed a chica I have known for 2 years and have been with on 3 trips to Havana about problems I read recently here. She replied today and said no problem if you tell police chica is your fiance. She is one of only 2 chicas I have known who would walk on the main streets with me in el centro and viego Havana. She always told me remember my birthday and my mother and father name because that is what the police will ask you to confirm she is your fiance.

I would also agree with chicas moving away. One of my favs just relocated to Vegas via Houston. If any of you boys live in Houston, check out Michaels International club. Its seriously like hanging out in Havana. So many good looking Cubanas.
Cheers!

I have a plan to visit Cuba for a few days in Feb. I did a bit of homework about Cuban mongering, and now I understand that basically you pick a chica on the street and take them to your "casa", which is a private room you rent from the owner. I understand it's because the hotels usually don't welcome the guests to bring chicas. Now, I still have a dummy question. I found some websites for booking casa, which seems more like vacation rental of penthouse or fancy condos: http://havanacasaparticular.com/ I was wondering if we can bring chicas to these casas, or if they're actually different from the "casas" generally mentioned here. I guess what really matters the most is if the building has concierge / doorman or not, which is usually a main blocker for bringing chicas, correct? Or would there be other factors I should be reminded?
Also reading through some recent posts, it seems the situation is changing in Havana. It's pretty sad to hear before I even get there. But now I have exactly the same question with Bart1.

Actually the Police got worse after the 1st of November. I have heard that the police now have microfones on them, so that the police station can hear everything that's going on. Before the girls could buy them out with 10 dollars or something, but that's now harder. I actually saw girls got arrested.
Strawboy. Its true this has always been a trend, but this time its serious. I have friends that have gone to Cuba many years and they can see a big change the last year. Specially after the summer.
Many of the attrictive girls are now married in another country and many have fled to Miami or something. When the girls that are left are afraid of the police, its not a good situation for us.

My favorite chica in Cuba moved to Italy two weeks ago after marrying to an old Italian guy. It is certainly true many Cubans, including the best looking chicas, are leaving Cuba now. Having said that, it is always the trend in Cuba.

Thanks to Cklein74,Taboc and Trisnate for your valuable reports.
CKlein74, I also have noticed girls vanishing and thought, what is going on in Havana? One girl went to China for contract work and my other two favoritas have married German guys and now live in Germany. I always said once the Americans come that they will be snatching these girls up for wives and moving them to the States so maybe the Euro guys are jumping the gun before the race starts.
Since I've been going to Cuba the girls have never been aggressive unless they are very hardcore pros. Its always been a "hands off" policy when dealing with tourists. With that said, once they know you and become familiar with you knowing you aren't with the policia, the girls become very friendly. I find it very strange that the police would wait until the girls are in the apartment to come and arrest them, never heard of that happening before. I wish you would have given more detail on that; Did they ask you for money, was it a shake down of the girls, what did they say to you etc? Some might wonder if you first ever post is designed to keep people away but I don't think that was your intention.
Trisnate, I'm glad you learned your lesson about the waitresses friend, that's how we grow. If you invite a girl or / and her friend out you are only required to buy her drinks and maybe food. Sex from either party is not guaranteed so if you decide to pass it shouldn't be a problem. This is known as the interview process and it works from both sides. I've been to La grunta many times and its one of my favorite spots if you go on the correct night. Yes, its full of negritas but Havana is half that. From my experience the blanca chic with euro looks usually come at a premium and with an attitude minus the GFE. They are less appreciative and feel more privileged. As for the last girl that wouldn't let you touch her: This is where the interview process pays dividends. You want to look into her eyes and read her reaction (shy, appreciative, bold, slutty). You want to touch her arms and lean closer to her, the more receptive she is to closeness will give you a tell of her bedroom demeanor and how she feels about you. Here is a trick I do; I ask her to put her hands on mine facing down and I close my eyes and feel her palms. If they are rough that means she works hard in the house, if they are soft she probably doesn't do shit. I tell her either she works hard in the house or she doesn't, her reply is either to agree or not but it usually starts a conversation and makes her wonder how I figured her out plus it allows me to touch her being slick. Closeness is important for the interview. Also you want to negotiate the price down some to save face and get respect. If she feels you are new to the game and can over-charge you then she won't have respect for you in the bedroom. Latin women like a guy in charge so be prepared to let them walk before they over-charge you.
Taboc, great report. It actually sounded like a report I would write, keep up the good work.
P.S. Thanks again for reporting guys, and much respect to all.

Posts: 3Havana is still good, but there has been a change in recent weeks. The police have been very active in the last weeks, so many girls are afraid. And many are already arrested. There are also many girls who have fled to other countries now, you can notice it when you walk around in the streets.
Before you could not go out the door without a hola and smile from the girls. Which in Cuba means that they are ready for some action. Now many are afraid even to look at you. You can now go for example on calle 23 without receiving any offer. It was impossible before. Same with the beach, almost no girls. If you find a girl, they are afraid to go behind you on your way to casa. That was no problem before. On a recent trip we were visited by police twice. Inside the casa! They are not interested in tourists, but will take the girls.
If you know Cuba and can speak a little Spanish, you'll still find some action. But it is a bit harder. The most important thing for me is that so many girls between 20-40 have now left the country. The attractive girls are harder to find.
But I have got some absolutely insane experiences with girls in this country, so I'm not ready to leave the country yet. But hope that this is not a trend that continues.
