I would say that sums it up.

I would add if you are new to Cuba, you'll be tested to pay more on EVERYTHING. You'll have to put things in there proper perspective and remember the economic picture of Cuba. That should give you an idea of how much to pay.

NEVER compare with other prices in your other trips and certainly with your western country.

Now, let me narrate my experience which BTW is detailed in my report in WSA before I found out about ISG:

While in camaguey I met a medical student by the medical science college and to make this short and to the point, I went days later inside the school. I went in the dormitories where all the smaller town and villages' female students live 5 days out of the week while in school. And I was shocked at the living conditions: Rust, mold, and paint chippings everywhere! Bunk beds WORSE than prison bunks! The restrooms flooded with water WALL TO WALL up to the ankles! I couldn't believe it.

These girls had no choice! They were glad at least they were accepted to medical school and hope one day they'll be again lucky to be chosen by their government to work abroad. So you can imagine how happy they were when I showed up.

These girls were so happy I offered them a couple of days off from the hellish lifestyle they were in. I gave a decent, safe place with home cooked meals. With me in my room they had peace and quite, some privacy, no theft of their stuff and a kind gentle man with whom they can share a sweet moment in life.

They were content with 10-20cuc for all nighter because of their reality, NOT the world's! And because of all the aforementioned that most of us mongers take for granted because we have excess of it.

The best thing a newbie or any monger with an open mind can do to help him understand what is Cuba and cubanas really all about is to talk to the girls in a humble way and ask them about their lives and just listen! Not by reading what other mongers tell you. Ask smart insightful questions like: What was it like growing up, is father in their lives? What do they DREAM about? How they feel about their country? About the world? How did they picture their lives as an adult? How do they feel about men like us? Yes these questions!

Not, how much for all night? Do you know other friends who want to make money? Do you do anal? These questions will get you to unlock few doors. The former will unlock all doors and ones you didn't think existed in the first place.

And just like Taboc, I too went to bed alone because as with any good hunting, sometimes you'll succeed and other times you won't. And I can't stand professional jineteras!

Havana has the discos such as Casa de la Musica, Salon Rojo etc. These are the best bets for a first timer. When you goto these discos, do not compare them to the Gogo bars. A gogo bar has girls working there, they have a number, there is a bar fine, and if the girl does not do it right or steal something then you can come back to the gogo and complain.

There is no such thing in Havana discos. The chicas come here on their own, same like you go there. It is only a convenient meeting place. You decide who you want to go with, negotiate the cost with her. Often it is the easier part.

Ok, so you made it to the disco / club, found a girl of your liking and negotiated the cost. What next? In Thailand you will walk away with her, hand in hand, might stop in another bar for a drink with her, or have a seat on the road side and get something to eat from the street vendor and then goto your hotel room and bang her. None of this works in Havana.

The Havana girl is not going to walk with you in the street. You will rush into a taxi with her, or she might even ask you to go in a taxi and she in another taxi (you pay for that too). If you are staying in a private casa, your owner in most cases will allow you to bring a girl, however she might have to register. In Thailand, she would simply leave the I'd in reception and take it back with her when all is done. Here the casa owner will write her I'd number along with your stay details. Some say it goes to law enforcement, some say no. It all depends. If you are in good terms with the casa owner or the chica is good with the casa owner then there is no registration. To make it simple, you might want to ask her whether she knows a place, she definitely will. It will cost you 10-20-30 cucs depending on how good the place is and how long you want to stay...

I suggest you spend some time reading the forum, going as far back as 6 months, in Havana and beyond, as we all know there are lessons to be learnt that apply to all of Cuba. RTFF first then come back with follow up questions. You will be there in March, so you have plenty of time to read up.

Secondly, I have a question. If you are so familiar with Thailand and South America, how come you have no reports on this site? This subject has come up for discussion before. Plenty of people come here for information when planning their trips, but never give back by posting reports. I don't know why you never posted here about your previous trips, maybe you had not discovered this site, I will not presume that you were selfish. That said, I hope you will report on your experiences in Cuba.

I was not aware of this site. Also, I traveled to those locations with friends who were already very familiar with how things work. I'm going it alone on this trip.

All this would make you think it is all a big hassle and why bothering going to Havana?

Once you reach the casa, and shut the door. Be nice to the chica, treat her with respect, give her some small gift, be generous with drink, food and money. All in a sudden you will be in heaven. Play some reggageton, she will start moving the hips, tell her to strip for you, most will, get up and hold her from behind, her grinding will work better than Viagara, and then tell her to ride you. You will then know all the hassle is worth it.

As a first timer, befriend your first chica. She will be your guide for next nights.

Unlike Thailand, most women are a game in Cuba. I do not goto the discos / clubs. Even if you give me money, I will not go there. Even if the chicas are free, I will not go there because I am not going to Cuba for that easy meat. For me, the thrill is in the hunt. I am not a master of Cuba yet, there are folks in this forum who are way ahead of me. However I have tried my game, solicited every where, and banged unknown chicas such as a pharmacist, the girl who was selling tourist souvenirs, the girl who works in my dental clinic, sisters of my driver etc. I treated this old man with respect and took care of him, he brought me his grand daughter. In my last trip, I landed in Varadero and was taking bus to a hotel in Playa del este. My flight was the last one, and an attractive immigration officer took the bus to her town, Matanzas. She was in the bus for only 15-20 minutes, and I could get her home number and will try it next time I am there.

Now keep in mind, I am not a good looking guy, just an average Joe, I do not know Spanish, just a few words here and there, but willing to work hard in my game, it works most of the time. There are nights I will goto sleep alone in Cuba, some would say it is being stupid. I am ok with that, as I know what I want and willing to wait.

Your answer: Absolutely not. Not even remotely. No beer gardens, no go-go clubs, no brothels, etc. This is not a "point and click" place like where you describe. If you don't speak Spanish, and know where to hunt, and are willing to play "cat and mouse" with authorities, you will be deeply disappointed. As far as safety is concerned, Cuba is statistically the safest place in the Western Hemisphere.

Same with the gogo bars, pay the fine and leave. In south America, Uruguay specifically has descent brothels. Buenos Aires had incall service.

So back to my original question and to be more specific does Havana have a similar set up? Regarding quality, what I mean is attractive girls in their 20s, providing GFE. Also which locations are safer with regard to both the potential for crime against me and my group and also dealing with authorities.

It is not even a country so what you said is N / A because it dosen't have an international airport.

But it does have a similar eco embargo, hence the similarity with Cuba.

Just read about it. If you are looking for a real girlfriend / wife I think it's the best destination.

Couldn't agree more. I hope we never lift the embargo, otherwise it will be worse than Costa rica and Panama.

BTY guys, if you love Cuba, I know of another Cuba but with pure white pretty girls: like 5:1 girls to boys ratio. And the girls there are even sweeter and very feminine. They like to find boyfriends and husbands. And best of all, almost nobody knows about them!

This other Cuba is Transnistria. You can rent a fully furnished apartment for 150-500USD with $250 being the common rent per month.

It's not a sex tourist destination. It's a hidden sex destination. I wish it was closer.

Just doing a bit of reading and would like to put in 2 cents.

Havana and Cuba are relatively safe and the safest latin country I've visited but guys don't let your guard down.

I've spent aprox 15 months in Cuba in the last 3 yrs and things do happen in Cuba especially Havana.

Won't get into details but I've experience attempt thievery on 3 occasion and friends have also.

Just don't get loose and do something you wouldn't in other countries and don't advertise you should be alright.

Havana is changing fast.

Will be going on my first trip to Colombia, Ecuador and Peru in April for 3 months.

Thanks to all who posted info, although my Spanish is getting quite good I am slowly get away from working girl house and pick up places this info will come in handy for dry spells.

I agree with much of what BrasilSoccer and Mr Gogo wrote.

I would say Cubanas are better in bed than Colombians (though neither comes close to Brasilieras!). Added to that, I find all the fake tits and asses in MDE and Cali to be ridiculous. In Cuba, the girls are natural, and as BrasilSoccer says, not spoiled as much by Western images.

Having said that, MDE (and Cali and Cartagena) are much more convenient to stay in than Cuba. You don't have to worry about hiding from the police. You can walk to a fully stocked grocery store or mall that has just about everything you could get in the USA You can use your ATM to get cash instead of having to bring $2K in cash (for USA citizens at least). You can stay in a nice hotel or apartment with a comfortable sturdy bed and bring girls in with no hassle.

I never occurred to me, but BS is right, every appointment I had with a girl in Havana, she was right on time. Unusual in L. America and unusual for prepagos in general.

Cuba is fun and certainly interesting, but it takes more work than other mongering destinations.
