LOL, this video is a joke. Don't allow this BS to discourage you from enjoying the greatness of Havana. Now, I am not African, but I am black, and I have NEVER had any of the issues, this dude is whining about. Matter of fact, we have never felt threatened or intimidated by the police. The first time we was in Cuba last year, when we had the party with 30 girls, an officer came over on his motorcycle, to check things out, and wind up leaving with 1 of the 30 girls.

Havana is a wonderful place, with even better people. It may be possible, that Kenyans are discriminated against in Cuba, but in my eyes, black is black, and people are going to be racist towards the skin color, not the nationality.

Didn't know cRAcK was so easily available in Cuba, every where I travel the costumes officers also ask some basic questions, whining is a great word, but to a new level, hope the "trip"he's on gets better!

Yes, Habana is a wonderful place, and wonderful people, but I don't think his video is a joke though. I have been to Cuba many times and I have been harassed. Er, correction, my chica has been harassed by the police on more than one occasion, which wound up impacting me because I'm the one who has to pay, bribe the police with my money. BTW I'm a white guy from the USA, not that it makes any difference, but I find that Cuba is a pain in the ass when you want to take your chica ANY WHERE, whether it be a restaurant, the beach, stroll down the Malecon or wherever, it's a fucking hassle. Last time we were harassed, we were in Old Havana at a nice restaurant, the police were waiting for us when we exited the restaurant, fucking assholes scared the shit out of my date, turned into a major scene.

It's shit like this that has me looking for other destinations, Colombia is next.

It's a damn shame too. Havana is a great place, I can leave my house at 6 am in the morning, and be in Havana for lunch. WTF.

Like I posted a few months ago, my chica in Cuba told me the new Presidente was going to crack down on the girls coming to Havana.

I'm going to Colombia in a couple weeks instead of Cuba. Apologies for the poor sentence structure but got a hangover this morning. Hope you guys get my drift.

I appreciate all the suggestions guys. Excited about this trip, took me a week to convince my Latin Spanish speaking friend to go. When I'm as American looking as they come and only know getting laid Spanish. Now he's excited too. I just want to confirm hotels are not lady friendly? Also are there any good massage joints, not necessarily happy ending just like good cheap massages? Found one ad online where I'm guessing they come to you. Haven't had luck with any dating sites that have any girls I find attractive over there. I guess there's a bit of luck to Havana visits.

I can only speak about central Cuba in this regard, but my experience is that women that do massages are older (maybe 30's) and less attractive. Casa owners are a great resource about where to find a "novia" or "querida". My experience is Cubans are less helpful when you ask about P4P. Your options increase dramatically if you offer the the chica plausible deniability about being a "mujer de la calle".

A casa owner advised me not to do this. The authorities monitor internet / social media in Cuba. You could get the chica arrested.

I doubt they can monitor private messages between 2 parties.

This is one of the nicest casa's in Havana, it's in Morro Havana, just down from Che Guevara old Casa. It's about 500ft from the Morro Castle fantastic place. A friend and I stayed here for a week, $300 USD per night.

Hey MG,

There are plenty pf websites other than AirB&be. I will include one which seems pretty easy to navigate.

Don't know if this is your 1st visit or you've been down before.

I like to stay in the Vedado section of the city and close to La Rampa, specially if you have no wheels. Then again that's my choice, I find I can walk to many of the places.

If you are looking for something on the high end of the price scale I know of one which is in the hood that I mentioned above and has 2 bedrooms and it's also a penthouse. In case you're interested PM me for the info.
