How much a man should pay for p4 p is always a subject of debate. But listening to some comments reminds me of my mother buying a car.

Well I approach P4P the exact same way. My mom was buying a car. I looked up how much the car she wanted was going for IN THE SAME AREA. I was not going to think about and look up prices in California. That is irrelevant when Georgia is concerned. I told her to go check out the particular car and bring a check with her. When it comes time to discuss price, you offer them a check for $1000 less than what I looked up.

When I go somewhere for P4P for the first time, I look on ISG to see what the chicks are going for. I don't think about what they are going for back home. That shit is irrelevant. When I get on the scene and find the chick I want, I will offer them less than what I see people on ISG reporting. Then I report that I got a chick there for a lower price or without buying drinks, or had no problem paying after, and everyone wants to assert that I got an inferior chick. LOL. No mf, I just do my homework and know how to negotiate. I am not running up there trying to pay more than I have to because of how much I like a hooker or because of how much something costs in another place. And I am most definitely not trying to impress any hookers or women in general for that matter. My attitude is that they should be trying to impress me.

You go to the dealer and make him show you why you should buy from him versus the dealer down the street. You don't go to the dealer trying to impress them and butter them up like a lot of guys insist on doing with hookers. That just goes over my head.

My mother wanted to Nissan she was stuck on it. She knew how much she could afford. She went to the Nissan dealership and they showed her a very nice Maxima. It had all the bells and whistles that she thought she wanted. They gave her a price and told her payments and she knew she could afford it. Then she called me before she signed the bottom line. I went and checked out the car and it was nice. However the dealer had marked up the price $9000 more than the highest retail value. Yes they seen my mother coming a mile away and took advantage of her lack of knowledge.

My mother was in love with the car and still wanted to get it. Her rationale was she used to making those type of pavements for a vehicle and she didn't want to waste time all week going from dealer to dealer ship.

Its been my experience that very often if you pay a girl exactly what she asks immediately she's more likely to think you a complete rube and her contempt for you will show up in her performance and attitude towards you during her session with you. And that often leads to further demands for cash during the service.

I'm not saying to nickel and dime her but any tradesman anywhere on planet earth expects as bit of negotiation before agreement about the services they're offering.

I use to kind of think that same thing. But I've seen no difference in performance, you get winners and you get losers that's part of the gamble. But I don't see that look of screw you anytime I am told 100 and I throw back 40. For me it's not worth it. I've never really seen negotiations pay off that much, I would need to save thousands of dollars per trip for it to make sense to me and maybe at most total I will save 1,000. Now when I was single and liked playing the game, my favorite thing was picking up working girls for free. I had it down to an art and had some stellar performances from it. This is obviously back when I use to negotiate, I have no desire to play these games anymore. Say I'm in Del Rey, Costa Rica. If I saw a girl sitting by herself I'd go up to her and long story short she'd ask if I want to go to hotel and I'd tell her I don't do that kind of thing my friends made me come there and left me. I'm looking for love. That alone never did the trick if she was a 10, but there's a few more steps and every time I would create a stage three clinger. It was fun, but now I'm more of a get it and get out kind of guy. After thousands of girls I have no desire to waste all the time.

To each their own, I did love negotiating at one point. But it doesn't matter you can't stop someone who makes 500 k a year from throwing away $100 like it's nothing because it is then. There will always be people who pay more and people who pay less.

Nope, prices haven't doubled at all. Was just there in August, and didn't pay more than 30 cuc, for beautful, thick chicks, no rush. I will be making my 10th visit in a 18 month time span next month, and have never paid more than 40 cuc for the so called, dressed up superstars.

The norm that I pay is 20 cuc, and at times I feel generous and give more.

This is how it may happen. You get into the club and see a couple of 10's in looks, the type you can't even find working in your home country. well, first of all, I don't consider Tikoa or La Gruta as "Vedado nightclubs in the context of the previous posts. Yes, they are nightclubs in Vedado but they were always the so called "lower/est" tier ones. The dude willing to pay up for "hot girls" was thinking of other places..you know.. where the girl wears an expensive dress, so you pay extra so she can wear/afford to wear that dress and that makeup.

You got lucky. Pricing was more or less 30-40 CUC while you were there. First of all, LaRampa (the area outside of old Tikoa and La Gruta, etc) is a super well known spot for girls and is heavily policed.

The girls walking around that area all run the risk of being stopped and busted by a cop. If I were one of them I would have to charge extra just to have potential bribe money if necessary. (if possible).

You will notice that no tourist / non Cuban leaves the area walking with any of these girls off to any casa, or even taxi because the girls are all well known to the cops who work that "beat"/ area.

They will tell you to walk to where ever you are going alone. And they will follow you. Slowly. 5 minutes later.

And even then, when walking alone somewhere. They're likely to be stopped. Because the cops all know them.

But they can't necessarily be busted. Because there is no clear evidence they are hooking. Everyone knows they are, including cops, but they can't prove it.

So most of the time they are hassled, but not arrested.

Yes I got lucky for sure. It was closing time they were coming out of the bar, ID been in sophies and saw the cops chasing away some girsl, but then they were nowhere to be seen and it was late and I needed to score some company. The girls were leaving for the evening, but they were cute, we had to hustle to a cab and drive out to some case no idea where. We didn't hang about on the street together for sure, that's a no-no in Cuba.

For an hour of fun the price was right.

I could pay more to get some pretend fake looks, or some attitude, or mess around with dating sites or facebook, call her or whatever, but what a bore. Much rather have a coffee, check out the goods and make a purchase.

Ergo, if an influx of dumb money floods the market, prices will be driven up in a speculative bubble just as they would be in any other market. And indeed one day the bubble may burst. Or that particular market will remain spectacularly overpriced for an extended period of time.

So, value driven P4 P investors will have to look to invest elsewhere. - in this instance. Outside of Vedado nightclubs, etc. It is true that too many markets such as Vedado nightclubs may ultimately destroy the asset class altogether (in this instance, Cuba) - but such is the way of markets. Sigh.

old Cuba hands may remember that for e.g. 20 years ago, you could score tons of girls off the Malecon, or in front of Rivera Hotel, etc. fresh, non pro, eager and tigresses in bed all night long (and beyond) For 20-30 USD. but even then you could also go to the Comodoro in Miramar where girls would be showing off in their best dresses, for tourists who would pay their 100 USD short time price tag. The experienced eye also noted all of their Cuban chulo boyfriends who parked their motorbikes in areas outside.. where they would drink, gamble, etc and wait while their girls were making them their money

Hi gents,

Its been a few years since I was last in Havana. My casa is booked just off calle 23 and I will be going soon. Can you give me a list of places to go at night. I am looking for cool bars with some action. I am over 40 so not a massive nightclub fan. I did go to a fantastic club in a house on calle 13 near avenida Los presidentes, does anyone know the name of it as I can't remember the exact location. A top little club full of Cubans with money and high end freelancers. With regards to the internet are their any sites like Tinder etc that can be used. Also when I was there you could pay 15 CUC for a day pass to the gym and pool at the National (you got a free pool meal and drink with that included), do you know of any other hotels around there that do the same.
