Picking up girls on the street is much like the clubs. The scene changes minute by minute, hour by hour. It's really not like other countries where you have known avenues or streets with girls beckoning you in. An area can be hot one night and a ghost town the next. Sometimes it's obvious these girls are looking for some CUC but most times they blend in with their friends drinking and playing music, shopping etc. The aggressive ones will approach you but you will have much more success if you initiate the conversation. A smile and and Hello, opens up so many opportunities. Sitting on the malecon with a cooler bag of beers is like bees to honey. Once you unlock this, the pussy is right in front of you all the time.

Cuba is not an all inclusive monger destination like the others. You can't jet in and pick up the phone, go for a massage, Facebook or pop into the mongering bar / hotel; That option is not there. You need to put some leg work in and most off all you have to be able to handle all the bullshit that comes with it. Cuba is not for everyone but if you put the time and effort in you will be rewarded. Your age BTW will not be an issue at all.
    Excellent response.

My issue is that (for various personal reasons) it's a while since I've been able to do a serious international mongering trip and with just a small window I'd hate for it to be a total flop. I read reports that suggest members go for weeks without success, whereas in Colombia it's shooting fish in a barrel (but the diamonds are few and far between). Not totally decided yet, but damn, Cuba is tempting. Happy for any other opinions or advice on how to make it a success (in six days).

I don't think you will go weeks without success. Just staying in Vedado you will be followed by girls and propositioned. The hard thing sis finding a gem. Btu if you stay out there you'll be fine.

Knowing a bit of Spanish and not being shy about using it will go a long way.

Clubs like Don Cangrejo and La Gruta (where the girls from St John hotel have been apparently congregating) are like shooting fish in a barrel.

One tip: make sure you book a casa that is girl friendly. I booked on Airbnb and messaged the host to make sure they were cool with "guests" coming over. Not all of them are.

Cuba seems to be a bit trickier than DR or Columbia (full disclosure I have never been to either). But it has the advantage of being kind of unique and isolated. Also I think the girls are a bit slimmer because their diet is healthier.

    Canadian flights

There is a small chance immigration will not know you have been to Cuba, but not a big chance. The US government has the flight manifests of all of the airlines flying in and out of Cuba. You are unlikely to be off of their radar screen. This is well documented by travelers who have been caught in their net over the years.

Even if you are in violation of the Treasury Dept rules on travel to Cuba, this is a violation, not a crime (ie, not a misdemeanor or a felony). Tell the immigration authorities the truth. Occasionally, one will be cited for violating Treasury Dept rules. If you are unlucky enough to being cited for a travel violation, request a hearing (do not pay the fine) and you will almost certainly never hear from the US government again. There have only been a couple of special tribunals since the 1960's, and the chances they are going to have one anytime soon are tiny.

In contrast, if you get caught in a lie with immigration, you become part of the regular federal legal system. Regular courts and regular trials. They do not forget or forgive and the penalties for lying to an immigration official are big. $60,000 fines are common.

Sure, you can prepare for a trip to Cuba by pretending you are there for any of the allowable 11 categories such as "in support of the Cuban people" but if you haven't done your homework do not screw yourself by lying to immigration officials in Miami, DFW or wherever. Who knows where this will go with Trump, but the US travel policies on Cuba have never been seriously enforced, so why would they start now? Lying to a Federal officer will always be a serious crime.
I was told 15 years ago my neighbour who was a pilot for a canadian charter airline, that they had to call in names of all persons on the flight when overflying the usa to usa authorities when he was going to mexico and Cuba on direct flights from Canada, this was 5 years or so before it became common knowledge, only in the land of the free eh?

    Opinions?

I've wanted to visit Cuba for a very long time, every year I kick myself for missing the good old days, but I have always felt I would need a good chunk of time to make it a successful trip. Right now I have time and funds for a much needed but brief (six days max) mongering trip. My first instinct is to go back to Colombia where sex with beautiful women is a sure thing. But IF I could get it, some quality Cuban GFE would really rock my world. My question is how realistic is it to pull that off in less than six days? (In Colombia I'd be having sex three times a day with everything from a cheap stripper to a TLN highend escort -- in Cuba I'd be okay with one girl a day if it was quality).

I am well into middle age now and no longer the "hansum man" I once was, but then again I'm not looking for freebies. I speak reasonable (but not fluent) Spanish. I have travelled extensively in the developing world and am not usually phased by third world challenges (although having to carry all my money in cash and chasing an illegal activity in a totalitarian country do concern me a bit). I'm more into the blancas and mullatas than the dark Caribbean negras, and svelte natural girls rather than big bootie or silicone. 18 to 25 is my favorite age range, up into the early thirties is okay, but if you tell me I have to pick women my own age I might as well stay home. I mostly like to take my time and be a gentleman, BBBJ and DFK are high priorities.

Given my tight schedule I think I'd have to confine myself to Havana and nearby areas (maybe a few days in Guanabo?) It sounds like an "independent apartment" from Air BNB or similar is the way to go. I enjoy clubs and music (although it appears some of the best are closed). I've never really picked up girls on the street in other countries, I'm open but wonder if my age will permit that. Can I get laid on a six day trip to Cuba? With the type of women I like? Any other advice? FWIW I'm a US cit coming from southern Cali.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for taking the time to post. I know how difficult it can be to get Internet.

Good to hear that La Rampa is going strong and that you are having a good time. Cheers!

Wow, good shit that I didn't know. All those years (pre 2014) of sneaking into Cuba from Grand Cayman and the Cayman authorities were giving my travel itinerary to the US? Personally I'm taking a wait and see attitude because Donald and Marco might try to make an example of someone going to Cuba without the proper documents (including 5 years of receipts). Let's keep our fingers crossed for now.
