I got back from Havana a couple weeks ago and here is a very brief summary of my trip.

Getting through Cuban immigration and customs was a breeze. Luggage came out fast, 0 problems.

US exchange rate: $100 US = $87 CUC at the CADECA or Bank.

US exchange rate: $100 US = $95 CUC on the streets.

Canadian exchange rate: $100 CDN = $74 CUC at the CADECA or Bank.

Canadian exchange rate: $100 CDN = $0 CUC on the streets, nobody wanted to take my friend's Canadian currency.

We booked transfers from Nash Travel in Ontario Canada. They are Cuban Specialists and have many American customers. We were 7 guys and they sent us a 30 passenger private air conditioned bus just for us. Cost $150, very cheap, + $5 CUC tip for the driver to bring us to our casa (official airport transfers are only allowed to bring tourists to hotels, not cases). So a fin took care of that.

On the way from Varadero airport (it's much cheaper flying into here than Havana airport. 50% cheaper) we instructed the driver to stop and pick up female hitchhikers, he did, we then stopped at a roadside bar / restaurant / store, loaded up on beer and had a nice but brief party on the bus. 1 friend got a BJ in the back and another actually got laid. She was a screamer and we were all cheering her and him on. Even the cuban chicas we laughing and clapping. LOL. 2 others were making out and the other 4 of us just had conversations with the chicas. No action for me or the other 3 guys but we had a good time regardless. FYI, this was at night so nobody could see inside the bus and we had closed the curtains. Got to the casa, huge 8 bedroom house with in-ground swimming pool, 10 bathrooms, 3 kitchens, safety box and ac in every room. $400 CUC per night (paid him in USD at par).

Went to Guanimar Cabaret in Guanabo, it was closed. Apparently the Police did a major bust, arrested some of the doormen and shut the club down. I was told it's supposed to re-open in 6 months.

Went to Tokio, a few young chicas there, nothing special.

Walked around a bit hunting for action and ended up at Cubano. Everybody was there, the place was full. My boys rounded up a bunch of chicas and we all went back to the casa. Once back a full-on orgy broke out, 14 girls, 8 guys. I didn't participate because I wasn't attracted to any of them. Not that they were all ugly but I'm a very picky mofo and if a chica is not at least an 8 I'm not hitting it. Guess I've been spoiled and in Cuba 8's are everywhere and there is a large ratio of 10's as well. So I just saved myself for the next day. Cuban girls absolutely love swimming pools. That was our sales pitch the entire time we were there. This worked like a charm! So much so that sometimes money was not necessary, the girls just wanted to practically move in with us and party all the time. Chica prices: Chicas were asking anywhere from $40 CUC-$100 CUC. None of us ever paid $100. In reality our costs were anywhere from $0-$50.

BTW, $0 is never truly $0 because you're paying everything for them, food, drinks, admission to clubs, cigarettes, chocolates, snacks, gifts and Bikinis.

Yes, I said Bikinis. Before we left we all raided Target and Walmart and bought every end-of-season Bikini we could get our hands on. We got them cheap, about $7-$10 per Bikini and this purchase was well worth it, Believe me!

When trying to pick up a girl at a club and you mention swimming pool and she responds "I don't have a bathing suit" and you respond "don't worry, I have a very nice Bikini just for you at my casa. It's a gift". You should see the surprise on their faces followed by a smile and then an "OK, vamos". This worked extremely well for us.

Telling a chica ahead that I have been in Cuba many times and know the game, I am staying there not for few days or weeks rather for a month seem to control their gaming behaviour. I turned Mr. G on to the Guarapo in Cuba 1 cuc. He really enjoyed it!. They had the machine that squeezes the cane. I have only seen a few in Santo Dominigo, DR. I should had gotten a pitcher full. I know it has good nutrients values. Wish I could get it raw like that is the States.

You can get it stateside, depending on where you live. New York and it's boroughs have it, so does New Jersey and Miami. Basically any city where there is a Caribbean community. Not just the Latin Caribbean but the English Caribbean as well. Wherever there's a Jamaican, Trinidadian, Guyanese, Barbadian, Dominican or Puerto Rican community / stores you will be able to find Guarapo. I even found it in Chinatown. An old Chinese man had a machine set up outside an Asian grocery store and he was making it fresh. It was really good too.

So just look around brotha, I'm sure you could find it. Unless you live in Alaska. LOL.

Great report Grownman, can't wait till you tell them about the rest of your trip. Me and GM are a contradiction as far as styles but we come together with basic respect for each other. I say all this to let you know you always have to learn to embrace new ways and make adjustments in this game. We arrived in Cuba on what we thought was a smooth ride. The airline is told us that is okay for us to say we're going directly to Cuba and all bags will be automatically passed over. Once we arrived in Cuba that's when the bullshit started. My bags did not arrive. Normally this is not a big deal however; in Cuba its a major problem. Dealing with Cuban customs and with the airline that you can't call to address. It took 2 to 3 hours for me to get paperwork fill and to get out of the airport. Apparently the airlines had messed up 13 other people luggages. It was a long process. I am glad I was with Mr. G. I do not blame Cuban customs for this incident. It's a good thing Mr G had contact numbers just in case they try to locate me. Normally I would [CodeWord140] for what could I do now.

I was not going to let this big problem mess up my vacation. We met up with our CB Cuban Brothers. They were ready to hit the night with us. CB had my apartment set up. I block from my last place. 1 bedroom with kitchen and a local telephone $25. The building is old but what aint old in Cuba.

We went to Mr G favorite spot and hit a few clubs in the area. The club was nice but all of them smell like old building. But it had a good bit of girls dancing for your entertainment. It wasn't classical in the DR but if we wanted that we would have went to the DR. I end up getting with a girl home I saw earlier. She was with her sister. Mr G was laying back just enjoying the scene as he does. Alex started the negotiate with the girls. He and Dabey are 2 of the craziest young men you ever want to hang with. Great observation. Life in Cuba is so different from life here in America, so it's easy to take a " pussy break" and just take in the culture. Also tourists aren't a priority in Cuba as Cubans are involved in their daily struggle.

Playa Del Este is a large area. The playa part of Playa Del Este across from Tropicoco has a policia post, and they are there to keep the tourists safe, I think. Other parts of Playa Del Este does not have police presence, they might do the patrol, but much much less. Check out Tarara and Guanabo.

I have trouble understanding when the Cubans spit words like they come out of a machine gun. Otherwise, I am good with the language. I would say to everyone some Spanish as important as a passport to goto Cuba for mongering.
