Thanks for the great info, hopefully guys will learn from it and not ask silly questions that this report just answered. We all want to be helpful but sometimes you ask yourself if you are sacrificing too much of yourself and how to operate successfully and if it's really worth it. Well, Taboc just gave everyone several keys to Cuba and also to mothering in general. I suggest you read the report below at least twice and digest it for future reference when traveling.

Arrived and departed from Havana, also had to go there in between for the visa run. Most of the time stayed in and around SC and Ciego. I have been here before, so there are folks who I consider close to me and they helped me to meet chicas. Once they know you are clean, you are not a creep, treat their woman with respect and compensate them (2-5 cuc) and chicas max 30 cuc + cerveza + food. I had one of the chicas mom buy groceries, meat and cook at my place for me and others, it was costing me around 10 cuc a day. Havana was a different story. I almost punched a taxi driver for acting superior and insulting and making fun of a normal cubana. This driver or his wife must be lending their ass to some high placed source to get an opportunity drive Cuba taxi and he had the nerve to make fun of a good chica doing her research in economica. If she can speak English well, she sure can walk into ivy leagues and teach macro economics without any prep. Too bad every chica with a yuma is branded as jinetera. This sarcastic mother fuckers face is still in my head and I regret not punching him.

While I felt like respecting and treating the chicas kindly big time outside Havana, it was other way around in Havana. The chicas outside were more than thankful if you buy them a pop, the one in Havana said she only drinks Heineken or Redbull. I had to tell another she was same as her bag, both are bad fake. Above all one chica had the nerve to say she wants 200 for an all nighter. The sad part is, she was getting it from the 'new' tourists. The area around Hotel Habana Libre, Calle O, 23, Infanta / Malecon are full of hookers (I don't want to call them chicas) and they all want atleast 40 cuc for one leche. In clubs an unknown ones show up out of no where and asks for a drink, when I said no, they made face and walked away. I felt I was in another Cuba. I found some 50% of them unfuckable. When I did find the ones I like, they got drilled nice and hard. I had it in my way, never showed any desperation, stuck to my standards / rules and was willing to goto bed solo if the need be. I had an young, 20 something bici driver who helped me big time and then had the chicas bring me their friends.

One last note for those who are visiting Havana. There are plenty of good casas. So don't settle for a high priced one with difficult policies for mongering. As recommended by a bro here, go around, and see the casa yourself, talk to the owner and make sure all is good. Now don't expect the casa owner to agree for you bringing chicas in truck load of chicas. He has his pride, especially when he can rent a casa in Cuba, he / she certainly has some pride. So be smart in your questions and understand the meaning between two lines of their answers. Here is an example.

You: Is the casa totally independent.

Answer: Yes.

You: Can I have the keys to all doors and come / go as I wish with my friends.

Answer: Yes.

You: I will make sure all is well and no problems, but want to know whether the casa is like my casa, I can do what I want. Is that OK.

Answer: Yes.

See, no talk of chica in the conversation and it works all the time for me to do what I want to do.

Obispo and Parque Central is a commercial area, there are many hustlers in Obispo and don't fall into their traps, such as getting invited for a talk / drink / dinner etc.

So I heard back from my casa landlord today. I asked her about guests and this was what they said:

I can have guests over but they have to sign into the living book 2 blocks away. They have selection of the guests. They know the key could not be given to anyone and guests would not be left in apartment alone.

So what's this sound like to you guys? Is there going to be someone around making sure I don't sneak girls into the apartment?

I think this is about security? To have control over whom girls who are in the apartment in case of theft or control from the government? If girls know that their identity is checked they wouldn't take the risk of stealing from you or things from the apartment.

Taboc is a seasoned veteran and knows what he is talking about. With that said, it won't be as easy for a newbie to pull off veteran tricks. For instance; You won't be able to make a Cubana go independent because the culture will dictate that the Cubans stick together to milk the gringo. The second broker will not hook you up for free, she will want a cut. The second broker will team with the new girl to run her Cuban games on the newbie (the broker won't take to kindly for being passed over). Cuban girls are smart and won't sacrifice an easy payday for nothing. If you keep playing this game its just a matter of time before you meet psycho chica who will ask for money up front and team with her friends to rip you off. The key is to break the newbie tendencies and dictate the terms up front. Don't do more than one chica at a time, teams are sure to rip you off. And as Taboc said don't be so desperate that you accept the ugly girls that the bici guys introduce you to.

I talked to JV a few weeks ago after he visited Cuba and he used our trusted bici guy who speaks English to hook him up. He said the girls were rough street girls and the service was spotty. Understand that the bici boys are connected to the street and will get you the easier most dependable girl to make a quick buck but she will probably be a first rate hustler, any girl that is a keeper the bici boy is going to run through her first and by the time she gets to you she is hardcore.

If that is not the case then when you get a second chica, she has to pay both the bici guy and the other chica, so she is going to ask you for more.

After 2-3 days you should have few people actively looking for a chica for you. If that happens you would not want to take your return flight home. If it does not happen then you will end up in a bar / disco and end up picking someone from there. Again, it is not that bad. Take help from her as well.

I came back yesterday from a little over two month trip, had way too much of fun mostly outside of Havana. I thought after two months I would be more than happy to leave the place. Wrong. If I could, I will go back today.

So I am all booked and good to go for the end of the month. Very excited. I found a nice private casa in Old Havana, close to Obispo and Parque Central. I am more of a day game kinda guy so I am hoping to meet girls in the park and on the streets in this area, take them back to my casa for maybe an hour or so. I have an electronic translator and can make due that way. My Spanish sucks and I am not Don Juan so I am assuming most of my adventures will be with at least semi-pros. But like I said, I like doing "stuff" during the day. My nights will be spent chica-free enjoying the jazz and clubs, etc.

Obispo street is one of my favourite places in Cuba. A walk down the street offers many exciting experiences. Great buildings, a lot of history, exciting eateries, local shops, markets and many cute Cuban girls. In the end of Obispo street you will find a very nice avenue (Ave Carlos Manuel Céspedes). In direction against Malecon you will find nice local bars with many Cuban hanging around. No problem to find girls here. Parque central is also a good place to find girls and short distance to famous places in Havana. In central Havana you also have Casa De La Musica. I hope you will a great trip and looking forward to a report when you return from Cuba.

I would say that you should reverse it. Go to the clubs and jazz spots and meet girls and ask them if you can get their number to invite them back to your place the next day for a romp. You will meet a few pros on Prada and Bispo during the day but they will probably be hardcore. If you are only looking for an hour to fuck you may not be able to enjoy the beauty of really fucking a Cubana. Cubanas like to be seduced and fucked hard and long, sometimes with back to back sessions. A Cubana once told me she feels inadequate if a guy doesn't have two orgasms or more. Eat your wheaties, do some push ups and do some cardio to get ready, because the Cuban girls will be ready.

Remember that a lot of wealthy educated Cubans live in Vedado and they don't want their neighborhood image tarnished.

I know this because the casa where I stay is owned by two Cuban doctors. The mall across the street (Galleria Paseo) does attract a lot of pretty girls but very few of them are looking for tourists.

For guys who don't have much time to spend looking for women in Havana expect to pay up if you want quality.

Things take time in Cuba and there's a lot of cat and mouse games that transpire when hunting for local talent.

It can be very frustrating but I've gotten used to it.

I've been vacationing in Vedado right across the street from the Melia Cohiba Hotel for 15 years now and the area is dead.

Their is a very strong police presence because of high tourist traffic in this neighborhood. The Malecon is heavily patrolled by Police and for the most part its just teenagers singing, dancing and drinking during the night.

The professionals are mostly in the big discos in Centro Havana hanging with their pimp boyfriends asking for 75 -100 cuc. Its a real hustlers convention so do your homework. The major clubs in Vedado are Johnnys, Jazz Club and Club 1830 all of which are poor choices if you wish to meet girls.

Remember that Castro cleaned up the streets more than 12 years ago and that part time girls are very hard to find unless you have solid contacts otherwise your going to have to settle for hardcore girls in large discos.

The information posted here on Cuba is becoming very sketchy. IMHO.

In recent years when I have been visited Cuba I have always have a lot of offers from girls in this area. Many normal girls are hanging around here. My experience is mainly from the evening and night. Of course this could depend of the Police situation in Cuba but I think this place is a regular meeting point for many people. My apartment it's located in the Avendida De LOS Presidente a street some blocks Away from this area and in the evening I often go out for a walk to feel the sea from Malecon or to have Internet Service at Hotel Presidente. Hotel Presidente has now Internet with fiber optic and the speed is rather fast.
