With all due respect to everyone involved, this should be handled via PM to protect the casa owner (and our good thing). We all know from staying in Cuba previously how protective the casa owners are of their business. We never know if this board is being monitored.

If you are running several girls a day into a casa, word gets out quickly. Police and cameras are everywhere in Havana. Its a cat and mouse game you have to play concerning the police and casa owners. Beautiful casa in terms of comfort. The owner is a friend of mine. Two bedrooms, living room, two bathrooms, full kitchen. The owner has his own apartment in the building. You get the key to the apartment and its yours, no pesky in-house landlord watching your every move. He is renting one bedroom for $35 and will not rent out the other room. Or, two rooms for $60. The building is across from the Hotel National.

I think there is a hesitancy in listing casa names in the forum that are tolerant. A number of casas that allow chicas in without registration are doing so by breaking the rules, and listing their names is only going to put them in trouble. The same goes for chicas. When I write a report, I want to at least write the chica name, and then realize how much trouble she can get into and do not mention it.

4. The clubs you mentioned are all good, but expect to spend $$$. With your Spanish skills you can score good ones outside too, it can take time. Everyone is game there, even in front of their family, just be respectful and caring.

Bottom line, don't let this casa thing bother you too much, It is the much easier part. Enjoy the trip.

I am currently living in Cancun for the last 3 months and have decided to head to Cuba end of February for my birthday.

The "good" days of Cuba ended over 10 years ago. You old-timers know what I mean. Those were the days when for $20US (they were still using American dollars) you could find a "nice" girl anywhere, in any city, spend the night with her, bang her 2-3 times and she'd clean your room before she left. Havana has the discos such as Casa de la Musica, Salon Rojo etc. These are the best bets for a first timer. When you goto these discos, do not compare them to the Gogo bars. A gogo bar has girls working there, they have a number, there is a bar fine, and if the girl does not do it right or steal something then you can come back to the gogo and complain.

There is no such thing in Havana discos. The chicas come here on their own, same like you go there. It is only a convenient meeting place. You decide who you want to go with, negotiate the cost with her. Often it is the easier part.

Ok, so you made it to the disco / club, found a girl of your liking and negotiated the cost. What next? In Thailand you will walk away with her, hand in hand, might stop in another bar for a drink with her, or have a seat on the road side and get something to eat from the street vendor and then goto your hotel room and bang her. None of this works in Havana.

The Havana girl is not going to walk with you in the street. You will rush into a taxi with her, or she might even ask you to go in a taxi and she in another taxi (you pay for that too). I suggest you spend some time reading the forum, going as far back as 6 months, in Havana and beyond, as we all know there are lessons to be learnt that apply to all of Cuba. RTFF first then come back with follow up questions. You will be there in March, so you have plenty of time to read up.

Secondly, I have a question. If you are so familiar with Thailand and South America, how come you have no reports on this site? This subject has come up for discussion before. Plenty of people come here for information when planning their trips, but never give back by posting reports. I don't know why you never posted here about your previous trips, maybe you had not discovered this site, I will not presume that you were selfish. That said, I hope you will report on your experiences in Cuba.

All this would make you think it is all a big hassle and why bothering going to Havana?

Once you reach the casa, and shut the door. Be nice to the chica, treat her with respect, give her some small gift, be generous with drink, food and money. All in a sudden you will be in heaven.
