Well I just got back and would have to agree with the last post-Cuba is not the best destination if sex is your primary purpose for visiting. Although there are plenty of absoloutely sexy and very hot latinas everywhere you look, it can often be a pain in the ass to get together with one. How can I say, it's not too difficult but there are hassles involved.

I have always wanted to go and explore the island, especially before Fidel knocks off and am glad to say that I have seen it before it changes forever. To be honest I had no idea just how much of a police state the island is, or at least is at this moment. People, both men and women, seemed to be very nervous about being seen talking with forigners.

Havana was the worst, even inside Casa de la Musica whilst talking to a chica a few times they would suddenly hush up and explain that an undercover cop was nearby. I managed to hook up with a nice blond student for 50CUC at a matinee and had a nice time, although my casa wasn't chica friendly so we had to do the whole you follow behind me routine, a big pain in the ass. She was very pretty. 19 years old super tight body and tight pink pussy. I t would have been much better without all the rigamorole which kind of ruined the mood for me.

Once I got out of Havana things seemed to ease up a lot, although the only daytime action in many cities was by hardcore putas. The discos at night are where the young ladies looking to make some extra cash came out and feel comfortable enough to talk to foreigners. They relaxed a lot once they knew I spoke Spanish and I did see the odd guy who couldn't speak the language having a hard time. Basically if they get asked any questions as to why they are with an extanjero you need to be able to help explain that you are their novio.

Cities I visited on this 2 week tour were, besides Havana:

Cienfuegos.

Spent just two nights here. Very picturesque seaside colonial city. Met a 35 year old nurse at a café, very pretty morena clara who took me home with her after dancing and drinking till 6am. Very nice lady but she was obviously looking for a boyfriend and I felt badly about saying goodbye in the morning, especially after seeing her family's house and how poor they are. She makes $25 a month as a nurse with a university degree. As I was leaving her extremely hot 16 year old daughter flirted outrageously with me, to the point of making me nervous and hastening my exit!

Camaguay.

Not as pretty a town as Cienfuegos or Havana but by far the largest amount of pretty girls on the street, and not afraid to flirt or make eye contact. Seemed to be a lot of freelancers around, downtown and in the cafes. Don't remember the name of the main one but met a hot 19 year old there who gave the best sex so far. We talked a bit and had a few drinks, laughing and flirting. At one of those moments when she was looking into my eyes passionately I just asked for the bill, paid, took her by the hand and we went to a casa. No money was discussed but she did say that she couldn't stay the night. I gave her 40 and she seemed happy, exchanged emails etc and kissed goodbye.

Had quite a good time the next night with a 26 year old that I met in the main disco, who once again didn't mention money and I gave her 30.

Trinidad.

The prettiest of all the towns / cities I visited. The free musical performances in the main park at night were the highlight. Quite a few freelancers around but it seemed too uptight a game to want to be involved. Just enjoyed the nice vibe of the place, reminded me a bit of Oaxaca City or San Cristobal de las Casas in Mexico. Was invited out to the disco but really I'm not into starting my night at 2 am No matter how many pretty ninas are inviting me. Well ok I would have gone but was getting an early start the next day. I gave up painful mornings 20 years ago.

Santa Clara.

Sipping a mojito on the patio of the café in front of the main plaza, a group of older gentlemen load in their musical instruments, set up and start playing the old Buena Vista favorites. Sublimely beautiful and nothing more needs to be said. These are the moments, and they are frequent, that make Cuba worthwhile.

Pinar del Rio.

The most scenic of all. Walking with a tour guide through the countryside on a Sunday-was taken to a secret cockfight in the middle of nowhere, only men- gambling and drinking cheap rum. Cowboys-guajiros having fun betting like millionaires.

In town met a girl who sexed me with all her heart and soul. Twenty two, dark black hair and eyes, very Spanish looking. What can I say, it was great.

Sorry I don't have time for a more detailed account. I 'm not sure if I would go back to Cuba. I loved it but it is often a hassle, and travelling around is not cheap. If money weren't a concern perhaps I would go, rent a car with a driver and go more east. Many time I was told that Holguin was the best, but I'the say Camaguey was the best for me.

Old Havana was beautiful, just hanging out and walking around sucking in the vibe, but as far as chicas go I'd get out of Havana and head east.

As many a poster has said, Cuba as a sex destination, is truly lacking if that is your only reason. If you are there doing other things, Cuba can be a fun place.

If someone is thinking to visit Cuba with the idea of cheap sex and the caribean paradise FORGET IT.

It's outrageous expensive even for a deeppockets. All is ilegal (normal things like go with a girl in the street could be a danger) My mother tonge is spanish and really the cubans you'll find in your trip (around tourism) are mostly trying to scam you with any excuse.

Really Cuba was finished many many years ago (around 2000) the ones you are going now really it's better to burn your money at home, in Cuba you'll spend a lot but with a bitter feeling that you are being robbed by people with dirty tricks and they don't care of it.

The strange thing is happening with Cuba that little people that is visiting the island has like a stokolm sindrome most of them don't really explain the true.

I hooked up with a Cuban American for three days who introduced me to aspects of Cuba previously unknown. Cuban Americans are great people to hang with in Cuba because they are well regarded cultivated social connections that demand long term care—as opposed to being a tourist where the people are infatuated with robbing you as much as they can as quickly as they can. Think being a rental car acquired for a cross country journey vs a car leased for 48 months. The only downside about hanging with a Cuban American is that the hoes may dismiss you as a potential mark because they know that Cuban Americans won't pay more than necessary and are not susceptible to the feel sorry for me pity stories that the girls often employ.

There are a number of discos—most of which have previously been mentioned by OPs—that charge covers from 7-15 CUCs where there are good looking girls to be had for 60-80 CUCs for the night. These girls are all hard core hoes, with Pimps / boyfriends, who won't negotiate much on their price. I saw one big tittied but short blond girl reject offers of 50 and 60 CUCs for four nights in a row until a German paid her 70. The 'in club' changes from day to day and it crucial to have a local hook up that can direct you to the proper place for the evening—Jimmy'z is hot one day and empty the next.

Another good thing about Cuban Americans is that they have access to locations where the few 8. 5s-9s hang out. I went to one very out of the way place- I want to say Amazon but I am likely mistaken- where they had a fashion show around 2000 with a stage full of beautiful girls. I only saw one or two other Western tourists there but did see quite a few deep pocketed Mexicans. These girls go from between 100-150 CUCs. I paid 130 CUCs for a one such girl which was the highlight of my trip. We hung out the next day but she lost interest in me when I declined to entertain her suggestion that I pay to smuggle her out of Cuba to Mexico.

Conclusion: I hated Cuba and Cubans didn't much take to me either—my Scandinavian friend told me that the people thought I was both too 'corporate' and stingy. I ended up cutting short my trip and found the place to be either too down market or too expensive for me. The black girls were hot, but the other shades were hotter with much less hassle in virtually every other prominent Latin American country. Cubans are subjected to some pretty intense propaganda and are generally close minded, insular, unproductive, and lazy. They tried to overcharge me on my bill about 33% of the time to which I subsequently deducted the amount they tried to overcharge me from the correct amount. I was pretty bellicose during my last three days or so there.

They have matinees at discos so the people can start dancing and drinking at 1700 in the afternoon on a weekday. All most Cubans do is dance, make music, fuck, and scam people. If I was born there I'the probably be the same way but I wasn't so I'm not. The place was so boring I watched Friday Night Lights Season 2-4, Spartacus (call me your Maximus) , and every Ross goes to Afghanistan episode in three or four days time.

I suppose if one had deep and longstanding ties to Cuba, a willingness to live in an isolated shithole with no amenities, eating crappy food, while paying $10 an hour for dial-up internet, Cuba could be ok.

Not my cup of tea though.

Ten times much better place to chase girls and have fun in 2011. Cuba is NOT one of them.

Initially our plan was to sleep early because we had a light back to Toronto at 10:30 from Varadero. Joseph had the news that he found a driver that will drive us there for 60CUCs. That is an amazing deal since Viazul does not leave that early to make it to Varadero in time and normal taxis were asking for 120CUCs. So I tell my wingman since this is our last night, fuck the sleep, lets just go to the Malecon and see if we can catch a fish. Since we were hungry, we decided to go to the seafood restaurant right on the malecon, very close to Hotel Presidente. As we were eating our filet de pescado (fish fillet) , this chick with crosseyes sits next to us and started to bargain with us. I politely made up bullshit and dismissed her. A few mins later another 2 chicks sit next to us and started talking in broken English, asking us if we want a novia. Both of these chicks were cute, young, and had nice tits. Their asking price was 70CUCs, and I replied 30CUCs. Eventually we settled at 35CUCs. The chica I was negotiating with tells me lets take a cab. I've been reading through some of the recent posts going back a few months. I was last in HAV in July, did not get to any clubs as was with my Cuban gf, but that's over, long story.
