Cuban experts,

I have been messaging a few of these Chicas last week or so, they seem very sweet and the back on forth on messenger is well. Then they drop a request for a recarga citing their financial hardship. Is that some sort of scam, hassle or a true request?

Of course I declined saying I haven't met you. But I am just wondering if any others have had that experience.

Yeah some guys come and ask questions without doing any other research. Because it's an island country they think it's like Aruba and you can drive from one end to the other in less than an hour LOL.

The discussion here kind of ran off the rails LOL. Although this is the Havana thread a poster named Harry was asking about Holguin because he fell in love over the internet with a girl there. So we were talking about a different part of Cuba than Havana. I think we all agree Havana is a good place for the game both in terms of finding interested chicas and finding apartments to bring them. The city of Holguin has the chicas but the apartment owners strongly enforce the government's policy in that all guests need to be registered. So it's ok to bring a chica (even in the middle of the night) but she needs to register. Havana not so much. But maybe things have changed based on TxSnake's recent experience.

I can 2nd, 3rd, 4th, all the way to 16th that! Never had a problem bringing chicas in the casa, all 16 times that I have been to Havana, and that includes, February and March of this year.

I am probably not the best person to give any input regarding this, since I live in Cuba. I have only booked a room for the whole day once here in havana, and that was with chris h. I had the key with me all the time and when I left, I didn't even return the key to the owner. Chris took care of it. However, I have rented rooms for a short period (1-2 hours) way too many times, at least once a week minimum. Never had any problem whatsoever. Maybe sometimes, there aren't any rooms available at my regular place, I just go to another location. I have never failed to find a room available, when and where I need one. It was always available, even during the lockdown in havana at the peak of covid19. BTW I pay 5-10 cuc each time for the room, depending on the location and size of the room.

You live in Cuba? Are you Cuban or non-Cuban and living there? I'm really interested to hear your story. If I were going to Cuba I'd offer to take you for drinks to pick your brain!

Agreed. Havana can be awesome! My first trip to Havana was off the hook! I meet 3 young chicas who were from way out in the country and they were in Havana to make some Christmas money, wound up fucking all three of them. I've been back about 10 times since 2016, things started going downhill around 2018. My last trip in March of this year was disappointing, I,e, lack of descent food and beer, it was a struggle.

I have been to Medellin a couple times, completely different vibe. The girls have a harder edge, and the pace of Medellin is lightning fast compared to Havana. But still, some of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. I like Medellin, beautiful place, and it's definitely on my list to re-visit, as well as Cartagena.

Havana was just awful for me back in January. The taxi driver warned me that they were fining tourist that did sexual tourism. I did get some nice action on that trip, but it was in a town called Mayari in the province of Holguin. I was told that Moa is also a good destination in Cuba.

I have a question for you and Chris H to clarify the issue in Havana. Does your guest have to register with owner before she can come to your room? Do owners allow guests without registering? In Holguin key was first problem, registration was second. Nobody was allowed without registering.

I have stayed in casas, where we have the entire place to ourselves, so there wasn't anyone to register the girls with. Other places, sometimes we would have to register them, sometimes not. Once you get a solid relationship with the casa owners, they become more lenient.

I can't talk for Chris, but where I stayed the owner gave me the key and told me to be cautious if I brought any girls to the apartment. No registration needed.

I'm with you, never had an issue with the owners where I stay (Vedado by the Malecon).

The only thing they always mention is to be careful in case I bring a "guest" who I'm not familiar with since this might open the door (pun intended) to being "taken" advantage of.

In other words they're looking out for me by letting me know there are some hard core jineteras who fit this M. O.

Going to Cuba is like going camping. It can be a lot of fun "roughing it" for a few days maybe even a week or ten days. But after that you are ready to return to civilization.

I spend winters in Medellin. It's a first world country with third world prices. Best place in the world right now imo.

Agreed. I just went from Colombia, then briefly to Peru before going to Bolivia for a week. Then flew back to Colombia after being in Bolivia for a week it's like returning to "civilization."

That's not to say Bolivia was bad, but Colombia is 100 x better.
